Author has written 6 stories for Digimon, and Zootopia.
I'm a huge fan of Digimon, Yugioh, Gundam and various movies, notably How To Train Your Dragon, Zootopia and Lion King. I have ideas but so little time to write, and I specialise in friendship/hurt/comfort/humour/adventure. When I write, I don't just write for the sake of shipping or romance I intend to tell a good story, with character depth and as close to canon as possible, because frankly if you're not going to write them in character, they lose what made them initially so attractive in the original.
I don't usually write fluff, and I seldom read it too. I look for many things in a good story such as plot, character development (not always, because sometimes they are fine the way they are), writing style, and emotional depth. Sometimes my story may have darker or mature undertones that aren't easily detected. But if you do, then good for you. :) You have the makings of a fine reader. As a writer, I know I have improved over a year and a half. My early work still makes me cringe and I am going back to make edits recently.
I spent about 6 years on this site, and I have seen quite many stories. There's are popular stories and and there are well written ones. Popular stories are not necessarily well written, and well written stories may not be popular. I noticed that ones that receive a lot of attention usually make use of the most trending tropes and stereotypes of the fandom, or they focus on the slice of life aspect of the couple. Unlike popular stories, which bloom all around, Well written ones are very hard to find. They have in depth world building, colour and interesting characters, fascinating imagination and a good story to tell, but quite underrated.
If you find a story that you like, don't be afraid (or lazy) to leave a review in at least one of the chapters saying what you like or dislike about the story. Rather than just adding it to your favourites or following it silently, give a comment. Let the author know that you're enjoying his or her work, and support it so that more chapters get churned out for you to read. It's very tiring for an author to put so much time and effort into the product and everyone just takes it for granted. As a reader, you are crucial to keeping a story alive, and an author afloat. So please, review. Don't kill an author just because you feel too lazy to type a few words.
Feel free to drop me a PM anytime. I'll usually reply within a day or two. Till the next update, ciao
