General Notices

I want to let you guys know that I have an account on Archive of our own (AO3) and the reason I am telling you this is because eventually, I am going to start putting certain stories on either this site or on AO3. I have noticed that some stories are doing better there than they are here and vice versa and to ease up on the trouble of posting the same story on both sites, I am just going to post it on whichever site it does best on. Don't worry, I will place a notice on a story before removing it so that you all will know where it's gone.

My Profile name at AO3 is the same name as here on this site TheMadTargaryen

I tried to leave a direct link and even the URL so that you guys can copy and paste it but FFN apparently has a way to block users from using the links and even copy and pasting the URL from FFN to get to the AO3 profile from the google search bar. So, unfortunately, you are going to have to type in my profile name on the AO3 site. I apologize for that inconvenience. I tried to make it as easy as possible but it seems FFN does not want to make it easy for anyone.

I do have to be honest with you all, I plan on leaving this site and post full time on AO3. I have had my AO3 account for a while and have been posting my stories there as well lately.

If you are planning on messaging me or leaving a review asking me when I am going to update my stories, please save yourself the trouble and just come here to get your answer.

The answer is I will update when I update. There, that's the answer. I have a lot going on in my life and I have a lot of stories that I am working on and I cannot give a guaranteed date of when I'm going to update a story. I am sorry if this is not the answer you want but it is the answer I give to everyone that asks.

I know that I take a long time to update a story but I want to make it clear for those that are leaving reviews making assumptions that any story of mine is abandoned. Unless I, the author, say it is abandoned, then it is not abandoned. So I would greatly appreciate it if those reviewers that leave that kind of review would stop leaving them, please. I don't want it to give the other readers the impression that the story has been abandoned and it certainly does not help my motivation to update it any faster.

Look, I get it. I too get annoyed when a story I enjoy is not updated regularly but I also understand the struggle of planning and writing a story and I also know the authors have a life beyond the site that keeps them busy so I do not take it to heart when they do not update for a while and do not hassle them about new chapters.

When I have finished a chapter, I will post the date I will update it down in the section below. New chapters will always be posted on a Friday to give me time to clean and proofread the chapter before releasing it. My readers deserve the best and I want to make sure you all get that from me.
