Author has written 2 stories for Adventure Time with Finn and Jake.
Thank you all for reading my story, "Into the Multiverse." This is my vision for the end of the series, starting from the end of the episode "Earth and Water." I had immense help in getting my writing up to par, and I would really like to thank my friends Paul and Crystal for all their help. And even though they're not a part of my life anymore, my ex-wife Jenna helped set the stage for this story. And my ex-girlfriend Jenny (whom I dated after the separation) was a source of support during that time. I would truly be remiss, and blind to the past, if I did not at least mention them.
That being said, as far as information about me...I live in Ohio and am a big fan of Adventure Time, science shows (like Mythbusters and Cosmos), anime in general, video games, martial arts, swimming, and languages (I have studied/am studying Spanish, Japanese, and Norwegian). I am a bit of a traveller, as I have been to the UK twice, France, Ireland, Japan, and Australia, and Norway! I enjoy a bit of everything, and have a wide range of interests.

One of those interests is the Myers-Briggs Personality Test. My type is ENFP if you're interested..yes, an extrovert can be a writer, as odd as that is.
UPDATE 12/23/2013 - Thanks to everyone for 1000 views! Chapter 5 comes out this Friday, ending the first arc of the story. Where are Finn and his friends headed next?
UPDATE 1/4/2014 - Thanks for the addition into the Bunnies, Bears, and Vamps community!
UPDATE 1/17/2014 - WOW!!! 2500 views! That's astounding. I love all of you who have supported me so far! Chapter 7 will be three parts, and future chapters will be 4-5 parts each...the story and the relationships are getting into full swing!
UPDATE 2/11/2014 - AMAZING. 5000 views. You guys rock. I never thought it would ever get close to this far...I expected maybe half that for my entire story. My friend challenged me to 10k views when I started this project...and now that actually looks attainable. Thank you all very much for your continued support.
UPDATE 3/6/2014 - I don't know what to say...7500 views! This...is amazing. My friend challenged me way back in September 2013 when I started writing (yes, I waited over 2 months to publish) to 10,000 views. I think that is now attainable. You all rock! Tusen takk til alle!
UPDATE 3/13/2014 - Two little updates - first off, thanks for 50 follows! Second, the writing phase is finished...I am now working to revise the writing to make sure you guys get the best story possible!
3/18/2014 - I will be working to get as much of my story out as possible in anticipation of the April 21st release of season 6. I will still be updating every Friday, but if I get extra parts hammered out in the meantime, then I'll update those through the week. I've currently published about 1/3 of what I have written, so there's still a lot more story to tell!
3/21/2014 - I just wanted to pass on something awesome...you guys have been so amazing to me. When I started writing this, I thought that if "dozens" read it, I would be happy. Today I just surpassed 10,000 views. When my friend Paul told me that I would have something that was read tens of thousands of times, I laughed. Today, I sit here truly amazed and humbled that you all think so highly of my story. Thank you all. Also, on a lighter note, I am working on a short story currently that will be told in two parts. It follows Marceline 1000 years after the events in Adventure Time, and incorporates some information we got about the future from the recent Lemonhope episode. It's tentatively titled "To See Your Face."
4/6/2014 - Well guys, it's been fun, but I really must be going. I have enjoyed this story, but I have decided to post the rest for your enjoyment. Hope you all enjoy the rest of the story. Thank you all for the support!
4/23/2014 - JUST WOW. 20,000 hits. DOUBLE my initial GOAL, which was 4 times more than my 'wildest dream' projections. You guys rock!!!
I just want to give a shout out to everyone who has faved and followed me so far. I really appreciate it (probably just the extroversion talking, lol).
Oh yeah, a side note. Some of you have asked in private, and posted on reviews, why I went with the shortening of Marceline's name as "Marce" rather than "Marcie" or "Marcy." Two reasons: #1, I saw it in the comics, and it seemed cool. #2, it's a direct shortening of Marceline, and, being the person that she is, I imagine her preferring that spelling over alternate spellings. I debated several ways to spell it but ultimately went with that one because it just felt like her. Hope that clears that up!
A word about Hunson's vocabulary...I adopted his speech style from how he wrote the Encyclopedia of the Land of Ooo, which is far more elaborate than how he speaks in the series. I went with that because it was written by the voice actor, and I imagine someone who's been around for a few thousand years would have enough time to master the language to that degree.
UPDATE 5/31/2014 - I want to extend my immense thanks for 25,000 views. This is the last milestone I expect to ever hit with this story, but what a milestone it is. When I started writing back in September of 2013, I never imagined I would hit such great Heights.
Update 9/26/2014 - I have to say...just wow. Over 33,000 views. So much love from everyone here. Every time I think I hear the last of this story...there's always a chapter more to tell. Life is kind of a funny thing.
UPDATE 3/29/2015 - 40,000 views...just...I don't even know what to say. I never, ever expected to get 10,000, much less four times that much! I am infinitely appreciative to all of you for your love and support! Life has taken a rough turn lately, but I'm going to remain strong. Thank you so much...and please. Spread the love as much as you can. Defeat the hatred in your own lives by shining the light of love into the darkness of doubt and uncertainty!!
UPDATE 10/16/2015 - Well on my way to 50,000 views (46,000 as of this date), and I hit over 1000 on my oneshot story, "To See Your Face!" Life has been busy these past few months. Multiple failed relationships, sure, but also trips to California, the UP of Michigan, and the Northeast. A sense of inner peace. Turning the page of my life, from the chapter where I wrote this story to the next one. Not sure if anyone reads this part, but if you do, thank you. This story has become a bigger part of my life, and the transformation from it, than I ever thought possible.
FINAL UPDATE 3/13/2016 - How appropriate that, on the two year anniversary of my completion of the writing portion of this story, I hit 50,000 views. This was my ultimate goal from the very start, and just a little over 2 years from when I published the first chapter, I reached it. My life now bears little resemblance to the person I was back when I started this story. I was a scared person in an unhappy marriage who devoted entirely too much of his emotional capital towards a fictional relationship that I was upset about ending. I've been through several relationships since then. Lost and regained friends. Left behind a lot of negativity, both in my emotional state and in my friendships. Broke the rusted chains that I felt were encumbering me from my next step forward. Traveled extensively throughout the US, with my friend Paul, who I became close to because of this story. Became an uncle, a year ago this week. Met a wonderful new love, Annie, from a long-time mutual friend. She is someone I will be starting a new chapter of my life with very soon. Left a toxic martial arts studio for a wonderful one.
Originally, I had planned on the kids banding together to fight the "real" enemy, who I determined to be Glob. Magic Man was in collusion with him, and the Cosmic Owl was kind of stuck in the middle. The dream Marceline had made about Finn's happiness had unintended consequences for the universe, that the powers that be were trying to unmake. The kids were going to fight valiantly to save the somewhat ambiguous state of affairs, going through alternate timelines "Back to the Future" style to make sure that their parents still coupled and they still existed. Yes, to answer one final question, the children all being born at the same time was deliberate. It was a direct result of Marceline's wish for Finn always to be happy. Since Finn's happiness relied, in large part, on the happiness of his friends, they all found love, almost too conveniently. Since his children would need friends growing up (and his happiness would of course transfer to that of his children), Marceline's wish caused all the kids to be born at the same time. In the end, the day was saved, Glob and Magic Man were defeated, and Finn and Marceline stayed together (after a brief spat of amnesia in an alternate timeline where they never got together), as the happy couple. The children also found love, some with each other, and some from without the group, as the journey they sought out molded and guided them.
That was the original plan. But life got in the way. But I figured that you, my readers, deserved to know what my sequel plans were. Because, as of today, the lights are turning off on this part of my life. This story served a very real purpose for me in 2013, and enabled me to gain the friendships I would need to leave the marriage that made me so unhappy. But, as my boss told me last year, "the sh1tstorm has passed." I have developed new hobbies and interests. A wonderful new, promising love. A sense of happiness unlike any I've ever experienced before in my life. And is that not, in and of itself, the happy ending I was looking for, that I sought so desperately in my writings?
It's been a good ride. I often use the metaphor of the train to discuss how people come in and out of our lives. Well, this is my stop. I must be going. Farewell to all of you who have loved my story. Although my journey will continue on, hopefully for many decades to come (and I wish the same for you, as well), this is where we part ways. I hope you've enjoyed my little story. I've certainly enjoyed telling it.
