Author has written 29 stories for Battlestar Galactica: 2003, Battlestar Galactica, Stargate: Atlantis, Captain Power, Torchwood, NCIS, Hawaii Five-0, Avengers, Mission: Impossible, Lord of the Rings, and Star Trek: 2009.
Occupation: Sports editor/news writer/photographer/whatever they ask me to do today.
Hobby: Crocheting, singing, juggling - and of course, fanfiction.
Disclaimer one: For those who know me, fanfiction is an outlet for the creative me that often gets stifled doing news work. My creative outlet is also often dictated by my job - which translated means I don't get as much time to write fiction as I would like. I like characters, so most of my fiction is exploring said characters with a good dose of (hopefully) strong plot. I do NOT write slash, nor will I ever.
Current fandoms: The Avengers and Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future. For those of you who are fans of my NCIS work, I apologize, but I'm currently done with the fandom. Also, "Do Not Go Gentle" has been removed from the site, as it is officially on permanent hiatus. I know there were many people who wanted more, but for many reasons, it is time to walk away.
Proud beta reader for: Aggie2011.
So, with that out of the way...
Fanfiction has, through my best of times and my worst, been a safe haven and a chance to clear my soul. It has served as a moral compass, as a venting outlet, as an opportunity for true joy and magic, and also as a source of despair (come on, who hasn't gotten completely blocked at some point!). I've also made a number of good friends through this, and without many of them, this last year would have been unbearable.
Thank you to the unending support of people such as Elysynn, Angelofjoy, Somogyi and Aggie2011, plus others who are not on the site.
Actually, thanks to those four - in one combination or another - I'm ready to come back to fandom. I've currently started my own "universe" in The Avengers, starting with the story "Afghanistan." It starts with a U.S. Army sniper whose life is falling apart, and a devoted SHIELD agent in search of two missing agents taken hostage. It is also the start of a wonderful friendship between two men we all know and love: Clint Barton and Phil Coulson.
Clint Barton was a soldier, a sniper - one of the Army's best. Until his world started falling apart around him ... and two SHIELD agents were in need of a rescue.
New SHIELD Agent Clint Barton is assigned a protection detail for his first official assignment. When everything goes to hell, he is cleared for his other specialty – a betrayal that will come back to haunt him after the fact.
Coming up on his one-year anniversary with SHIELD, tensions are slightly high between Clint and Phil as Clint faces a final review to become a permanent agent. A mission to Poland pushes Clint to the breaking point as he is forced to confront a face from his past – and fight for his future.
“Days of Future Passed”
For 15 years, Phil Coulson has lived with the memory of the death of his team in East Berlin. Now, a chance to avenge the death of that team has arisen, but at what cost?
In the city to investigate a possible security threat to the U.S. embassy, Clint and Phil end up in the middle of that threat, as the embassy is taken by force and everyone inside is held hostage.
