"The Pirates of the Caribbean: Elizabeth's Younger Days"
This is not only my first POTC fanfic, but the first fanfic that I'd ever written. Read author's note for more information. (Written in 2004, age 12.)
A short poem about Galadriel, kind of from her POV during the War of the Ring. (The "hopeless" side/version of her, I guess you could say.) (Written in 2004, age 12.)
"Last March of the Ents"
I love the Ents, so I had to write something about them! The only thing though is that I made them sound slightly more violent than I wanted them to. Well, read and review and let me know what you think. (Written in 2004, age 12.)
A poem that I had fun writing, probably because it's sort of about my favorite part in ROTK. It's a poem that doesn't rhyme, and this is the first I'd ever written in that way. (Written in 2004, age 13.)
"Rohan Has Come"
A companion poem to the one above, "Gondor Calls." (Written in 2004, age 13.)
A short little poem about what Pippin saw in the Palantir; the doom of the White City. More movie-verse than book-verse. (Written in 2005, age 13.)
WORKS IN PROGRESS:
"The Diary of Luratiel Nwinea: Elf of Rivendell"
(NOTE: This fic has been removed, but I'd like to give a huge thank you to all those who read and reviewed! Originally posted in 2004, age 12.)
"Where the Sky Meets the Sea"
(NOTE: Revised and updated! See below.)
Charlotte Thomas is a seventeen-year-old girl, living in a run-down part of Port Royal, working as a slave to a former pirate. Abused and mistreated, her hope for a better life hangs by a thread... until one day when an accident brings her face-to-face with a chance at freedom--and Captain Jack Sparrow. This takes place during The Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. Advice greatly appreciated! (Started 2004, age 12. Rewritten and rewritten and rewritten over the past five years, all the way up to now: 2012, age 20. XD)
June 29th, 2012 Two new chapters of Where the Sky Meets the Sea have been posted! I wish I had more time to crank out the rest of the story in a timely fashion... but even with that said, I always enjoy coming back to Charlotte and Jack and the rest of the crew, no matter how long it's been since I last spent time with them. Hope you do, too! ;)
