Hey, it’s me. PhantomeLily, as my pen name states, but feel free to call me Lily, or some variation thereafter. In real life, though, my friends call me Riven.
I like staying up late, photography, and being alone. However, I also like spending time with my friends, practicing karate, and reading. I write in my spare time, which happens to be rather sparse nowadays, and many other things as well.
I have a lot of favourite books, including (but not limited to) the Harry Potter series (classic, for all the plotholes), The Complete Sherlock Holmes, The Ascendance Trilogy, and The House of the Scorpion & The Lord of Opium (sequel).
Books I am currently reading would be Poisoned Legacy, the human cost of BP’s rise to power, and White House Burning, a book on the US’s national debt. Both very interesting, if a bit dry.
I have one favourite TV show- Criminal Minds, though I do occasionally dabble in some Supernatural every once in awhile, though I’ve completely given up trying to catch up with where it is now.
I read lots of manga and watch a lot of anime. Some standing favourites are Black Butler (Kuroshitsuji), Hetalia (Axis Powers), Fullmetal Alchemist (original and Brotherhood), and Katekyo Hitman Reborn!.
I have an INTJ personality type.
My ethnicity is Chinese, although I currently live in a predominantly English speaking country.
I love writing little poems and short, unconnected drabbles. Most of them do not make sense. Almost none of them will every face public scrutiny.
One random fact about me is that I dabble in a lot of different languages. My masteries over then, however, are not quite as impressive. I can speak both English and Chinese fluently, I am almost as proficient in Spanish, I can speak a limited amount of Korean (mainly having to do with karate), and, for the most part, can only curse in German, French, and Japanese. Given enough time I could probably decipher a conversation but I'm not going to be a master translator any time soon.
Thanks for reading this equivalent of word-vomit. As you may be able to tell, it's nearing 2 in the morning.
