Hello everyone!

A little bit about me...I love to write, that's why I'm here. But music is my first, greatest love. I'm a guitarist (just like everyone else, right?). In case anyone might care, my main guitar is a Schecter Hellraiser DLX which imo is one of the best axes ever made. Just had to brag for a bit. Addendum for the guitar thing: Some people have said the DLX is crap compaired to the higher end Schecters. Well to them I say go climb a tree! I DON'T need a locknut. I DON'T care for a tremolo bar. Thosre are the only real differences that raise the price hundreds of dollars. If you can't make the thing sing like Hendrix without these bells and whistles (granted Hendrix did have a whammy), then you don't need to be playing. Honestly, how hard is it to take a few seconds and retune the bloody thing between songs for goodness' sake?

Otherwise I'm into pretty much everything that isn't commonplace. I absolutely detest things like reality TV, professional wrestling/fighting, (which, if I can go on a tangent for a moment...Isn't Hercule Satan from DBZ just like the normal American fighter? I mean, it's so sad but they hit the nail on the head in Japan with him! Every WWE or UFC or what the hell ever fighter is just like that's embarrassing.) Anyway I can't stand professional sports...they're all a bunch of overpaid idots who value themselves WAY too much. And to wrap things up, all the fans/followers of such things are bigger fools than the ones who participate/create them. It's time people wake up and realize the things in life that bear true meaning and purpose...

Oh, I'll dedicate another paragraph to say just how much I hate new music (mainly rap). People today have seriously lost all sense of art and talent, and have thrown one of the most profound and beloved tools of expression and connection down the drain with some of the garbage you hear on the radio nowadays. I'm only 22, so I should be right there with all these idots supporting the likes of Lil Wayne and All American Rejects and the like, but I am so thankful that I was raised by parents who value the true artistry of music that today we call 'classic'.

Give me some Led Zeppelin!! Give me Boston! Metallica, AC/DC, The Eagles, The Doors, The Who, Hendrix, REO Speedwagon, Styx, Motley Crue, The Ramones, Robert Johnson, John Lee Hooker, BB King, Journey, Van Halen, Johnny Cash, Black Sabbath, Guns n Roses, Great White, The Police, The Cars, Ted Nugent, The Allman Brothers, Bob Seger, Hank Williams, Hank Jr, George Jones, George Strait, Alan Jackson, Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Elvis, The Stones, Bob Marley, Michael Jackson, Scorpions, Alice Cooper, Deep Purple, Blue Oyster Cult, Rush...Yeah, I could go on.

Anyway, I guess all in all I'm just a person who values the natural, wholesome values and practices that our ancestors set down for us years ago. As a country, we seem to have thrown these things out the window in favor of shinier, newer ways of doing things that have led us to near ruin.

But all the drama aside, I'm a cynic at heart, try as I might to not be. I am unfortunately able to see the ulterior motives of everyone (even if they don't have any). It's my curse, but it has allowed me to rise above the cloud of illusion and lies that the world seems to be mired in.

Well now I don't really know how to end this rant but I guess I'll just say Have a Wonderful Day!

Story Update(s):

In the Wake - is coming along slowly. I haven't given up on it, nor am I stuck with writer's block oddly enough. I'm just SWAMPED with other stuff! It's killing me! Spring is the most beautiful season of the year imo, but with it comes yards to mow, leaves to rake, fires to burn, sun to enjoy...I'm in Florida so it's beautiful here. I love my state. I'm an outside person so I'll be soaking up the beautiful weather for a bit, and taking it easy on this story. Unless anyone wants to pay me, you can wait a bit. I won't forget about it though.
