My imagination has been different from everything, as I created different stories, creatures and powers throughout my life. I love to make plots more than writing, because I'm better in it, and I think there are many more people that can make a plot into a favorite attention grabber. A few tips that might help:

-Write something not only you like, but also other people on fanfiction. Go read stories that have a lot of good comments and favorites.

-Don't make it too mushy, like, you can have drama, but when most people write it, you think like 'are you frigging serious?'
Make the drama either overloaded so it gets a bit funny, or take out all the moments people repeat asking stuff like 'you mean that' or so.

-If you write action, try writing more detail, as it gives the readers a better perspective of your view upon the situation. Don't say just things like, 'he slapped him', but say stuff like 'he slapped the youngster on his right cheek, with his left hand." and maybe the consequences of the things they are wearing, like rings; "the hand that wore golden rings, that only made the injury even worse, as they left a bloody mark."

-Love... again, don't make it mushy, but try to show people how far the characters would go for each other. Don't put it to extremes either, because then it gets over as ridiculous.

-If you want a lot of people to read your stories... have a good English tongue and know how to write it correctly. There are tons of good stories that are wasted with bad English.
