The stories posted before today on my profile are on HIATUS until further notice. It is with great regret that I do this, but my love for the plots has diminished somewhat and after rereading both I find myself wondering how I ever thought that was good enough to be posted anywhere.

If I ever find my muse again, I'll re-write both longer chaptered stories, but I don't think I'll be continuing them as they are. But I would like to thank everyone for their kind words and love for my work, however deplorable I find it lol.

I am working on something new though. Prologue and Chapters one and two are complete, I'm aiming to write a good portion of it before I post anything because otherwise I'll just forget about it or lose interest as I've done so many times before.

What I can tell you however is that It's another Harry Potter fic.

Summary: Harry is in a strange place after the Tri-Wizard Tournament ends, mentally if not physically as well. He finds the strength to seek the help he needs from the right kind of people, and then he's upended in 1944, sitting on the train home with Slytherins. How to proceed..?

It's a bit of a crappy summary but basically, with the way I'm writing It'll be slow paced to start with, getting the foundations laid out and the kinks worked out of it. Hopefully it'll be fun enough for me to write a lot fairly quickly, then go back and edit.

Romance wise... there may be slash, I may just leave it romance-less. Canon is really not my thing in the slightest. But as I said, slash isn't necessarily set in stone.

Characters thus far in 1995 (end of HP 4th year;think/hope): Harry, Hermione, Ron, Dumbledore, Moody. Loosely...

Characters thus far in 1944 (End of TR 4th year, by my estimation): Harry, Tom Riddle, Abraxas Malfoy, LeStrange, who I have named Philip, and originally I was going to go with Lucretia Black, but looking at her timeline, I'd say she was earlier. So I was split between using an established character of the era like Eileen Prince.. or bringing in a new character, perhaps a sibling of Abraxas Malfoy. The timeline doesn't state who he was married to nor does it state whether he had siblings. I guess we shall have to wait on that. Aside from these, characters include the bar keeper - as yet unnamed. And I will be bringing Abraxas' father into it at some point, as a background character for a chat over tea.

Notes: Harry is 14 going on 15. As are Tom, Philip, Abraxas and the as yet to be established female. Harry will not be going to Hogwarts. I am unsure as to whether he will be visiting the Orphanage for Tom.

This won't be very exciting I imagine, it is more a writing exercise for me. I want to see how pretentious I sound when I write creatively as I haven't written anything since before I started University. Now as a graduate, I'm all vocab'd up, so to speak.
