Author has written 2 stories for Sherlock, and Harry Potter.
Barely 30 guuurl, lover of great prose and worshiper of wild imagination.
I used to write, but I can't seem to finish my stories and one-shots leave me unfulfilled. So I switched specialities and went for translation instead.
One day, when I'm older and (finally) mature, I'll go back to creative writing. Until then, I'm stockpiling knowledge and honing my skills.
I can help with beta-reading in French and Japanese. English is not my first language, but I'm good at spotting plot-holes.
I read a lot and I know a lot of funny and pretty useless things, especially in mythology, old gods, British Navy in the 18th, mariners and travels in the ancient world (Egypt, ancient Greece), Japanese & French culture... If you need any help on these subjects, feel free to ask.
Higanbana (red spider lilies) are my favourite flowers. Walking in full field of it, in the Kinchakuda Park in Saitama, is one of my fondest memories. Its symbolism is heavy, some beliefs used to consider they were psychopomps (guiding the souls of the dead to the afterworld), and its japanese name means "flower of the afterlife", Higan being the other bank of the Sanzu River, Japanese equivalent to the River Styx.
I have a loving companion, two fluffy cats, and way too many books.
