 Author has written 66 stories for Downton Abbey. There isn't much to say about me. I'm older than 20 and younger than 50, I used to write a lot when I was still at university but my job and real life have caught up with me. Concerning books/TV shows I am a fan of Downton Abbey, A Song of Ice and Fire/Game of Thrones, Kingkiller Chronicles, all things Austen, Community, The Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, Sherlock, Harry Potter and many others that I just can't think of right now. So nothing unusual. A word on translations: I have had several requests concerning the translations of my stories. I will not give permission for my stories to be translated into a language I do not understand. I am honored by the fact that some of you seem to like my stories so much that you want to make them available in other languages as well, but I do not feel comfortable with this. When writing my stories I do not only put a lot of effort into the content (which is of course always based on an original work not written by me) but also into the style, the language, choice of words etc. As I am bilingual myself I know that it is not possible to do any sort of text justice by translating it into another language, especially not one that was written with the goal of fulfilling certain stylistic aspects, whatever those may be. | |||||||
