Despite being very interested in getting this out and done, it's probably for the best it's slowed up as I try and focus in on Kaijōsei.
Listening to: Masato Koda [甲田 雅人] — Arpeggio of Blue Steel Ars Nova Soundtrack
Recent Musical Set: Fryderyck Chopin and Hans Zimmer (Pirates of the Caribbean) on back-and-forth-shuffle.
Did you know Chopin had a jar of [Polish] dirt, and his dying wish was for his heart to be removed and entombed in Poland? Imagine that...
Hey all! Please, step inside my parlor; My name is Zusanheim, and I hope you enjoy what I put out for everyone here to see.
That said, writing about myself is a lot harder than chugging away at chapters of stories. Where to start, where to end, what matters...
I've been writing and storing away fanficiton ideas for quite some time now, and I hope to get many of them written out at some point. I'm unsure if I'll run more than one or two stories at a time, especially as a busy college student, but I definitely will not leave my tales untold.
Unless I die... CX I'll work on that, but things'll happen as they happen.
Besides that, I'm a fairly big music person, to the point that if I could find a way to make written stories with music interwoven well I totally would. I guess there's always audiobooks, but I might save that for if an original idea sitting off to the side in my brain manages to make it out into the life of day. Can you even do audiobooks with fanfiction and make it work? Obviously not for pay but...
...may come back to that...
As a side note, I won't be announcing pairings. In part it's because most of my story ideas don't have set pairings, and will only gain them when the romance rings true, and in part because if there are I don't intend to spoil 'em. That said I don't anticipate any yaoi or yuri pairings in my work.
That said, I'm not entirely adverse to the reading of such, depending on the strength of the writing. Despite my enjoyment of reading, I've not exactly delved that deeply into the oceans of fanficiton (in part because of Sturgeon's Law, but mostly due to time), finding what I like mostly through recommendations by close friends and bouncing from one author's favorites to the next, so I'll have to see when I find something. Heck, I'm not normally a big OC person (I prefer developing existing side characters), but personal experience has shown that stories like that can be interesting (you know who you are ;] ), so I'd like to think the same can be said for all paths in the same way that there's always good music in every genre, even if you're not a fan of it in particular.
Anyways, enough about me, go back to reading fanfiction. Good luck in all your endeavors, and have fun!
