Most everything posted here is old and dated. I very seldom right fan fiction anymore, and when I do it's usually not for publication and usually used for practice or character study. When I was writing most of this I was young and fascinated with the great works that inspired my pieces.
Today I'm a student at Purchase College majoring in Creative Writing. In 2007 I won first place in Western New York's the Write To Be Heard contest for my one-act play about the accused Leo M. Frank. In 2008 the play was performed at Shea's Performing Arts Center's Smith Theatre in Buffalo, NY by students from Nichols School and directed by the outstanding Kristen Tripp Kelley, an accomplished and well-known director and actress. She is currently a drama teacher at Nichols School. For my play I received the $1,000 Laura L. Adams scholarship. I also attended all rehearsals and helped to direct the play. In 2009 I received the $2,300 Maurice G. Bley scholarship for students pursuing drama. I have also had poetry published in various places, including in anthologies for the Buffalo chapter of the Western New York Writing Project, in which I participated for 4 summers and have been offered to teach.
I come here to read stuff once in a while and get pretty critical - there's a lot to wade through on here, but there have definitely been some incredible writers.
If you've got any questions or have any reason to contact me, feel free. Slip me a PM or email.
If you want to read anything I've been writing lately, just say the word and I'll try and get you something.
I still get review alerts from time to time and favorite notifications. I still contend that this is a great website for writers and fans and stimulates a great deal of community among authors and readers. Thanks so much for reading!
