Author has written 10 stories for Legend of Zelda.
I hope that if you’re looking at this profile that you’ve enjoyed one of my stories and are looking to read more, or if you’re here because of a review I hope you’ll consider my stories. Feel free to read them at your leisure.
Find me on:
- I've decided to make this a personal blog, meaning it will consist of chapter updates, writing progress, personal thoughts, and answers to questions. Reblog will be minimal...maybe..
- This is where I'll be posting some art, and versions of my stories that include MA rated content. So far that only applies to 'Villainous'.
-Also the official timeline for 'Dead Inside' can be found here as well.
Since none of the links are working you're probably going to have to look them up on google or yahoo. I'm darcie1 on deviantart, darcie on pinterest and darcie1art on tumblr.

(Nope, it's not letting me type out the whole word altogether)
Most of my ideas are solely my own, to my knowledge, but I can't deny that I may have been influenced, consciously or not, by others. In any case, here's a list of my sources of inspiration:
Authors: Emily Rodda, J.K. Rowling, Brandon Sanderson, Lene Kaaberbol, Jane Austen, J.R.R. Tolkien, Victor Hugo, Brian Jacques, Gaston Leroux, Charlotte Bronte, Agatha Christie, Edgar Allan Poe, Baroness Orczy, Descartes, Fuyumi Ono, William Shakespeare, and Ronda Thompson.
You can see the range in this. It has my favorite authors from when I first started actively reading novels to now. I only include Shakespeare for his sonnets. I really dislike his plays. Descartes is one of many philosophers who I like, but I've read more of his works than any others so he gets the spotlight.
Anime: Fate Stay Night, Fate Zero, Fate Apocrypha, Clannad, The Twelve Kingdoms, Ghost Hunt, Angel Beats, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Attack on Titan, Code Geass, and Another.
Academic: Mainly health, psychology, history, mythology, politics, and philosophy. Seriously, even if I did nothing with my degree I'd still say that the education was worth it. It has helped shape my way of thinking and my mind happens to be very valuable to me, ;)
I know there's more to these lists, but this is all that comes to mind for now. If I remember anything else I'll be sure to add them.
My multichapter works:
Dead Inside: In progress! My main story at the moment. It is an alternate universe that follows somewhat the child timeline of Legend of Zelda. It focuses primarily on the relationship between Zelda and Link. Warning for a ton (and I do mean a ton) of OCs, frustrating and downright depressing moments, dark themes and torture. I plan on having 4 parts to it. Part 1 has just been completed, part 2 is nearly done, and I've mostly got the basic idea of what's going to happen in part 3 and 4 but they still need some fine tuning. It's a long one, with an estimated 60-70 chapters, so it will take a while to complete. It is meant to be an epic, so if you're a hardcore reader and can handle multiple subplots and many different characters then carry on reading.
'Villainous' is now being made into a trilogy, thanks to an anonymous on tumblr who requested it and supplied the title for the third installment. The order will be 'Devious', 'Villainous', and 'Infamous'.
Devious: In progress! Prequel to Villainous. Takes place around two years after Twilight Princess, and will feature Link and Zelda as they fall in love. Link won't start out as he is in Villainous, but eventually he'll get there. Since this is connected to 'Villainous', readers can expect romance - which essentially means a lot of fluff - possibly even a deviantart version with lemons (if so any smut won't occur until later chapters, seeing as they are only in the process of falling in love), humor, and adventure. Some other themes are mystery, suspense, intrigue, horror (a big theme here, actually), and some of angst. Yes, this will indeed possess an actual plot, one far more serious than 'Villainous', with actual life and death situations and evil antagonists. Prognosis: somewhere between 30-40 chapters.
Villainous: Complete! A short fluffy Zelink story that takes place roughly around 4 years after the events of Twilight Princess. For those of you who want, there is a smut version posted on my deviantart account ;)
Infamous: Pending! Sequel to 'Villainous', to be written right after I finish 'Devious'. It will take place 5-7 years after 'Villainous'. I have a basic story idea for it and so far I predict it to be around 30 chapters. Below is the summary I've come up with:
"The fool should have known better than to trifle with Link. After all, everyone knew that the King of Hyrule was infamous."
So excited to write it! It will be something in between serious and lighthearted. Not as dire as 'Devious', but then again not as playful as 'Villainous' (although it will probably lean more toward playful).
Will have a smut version.
Clandestine: In progress! It will occur sometime years after the events of Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask, and again it will be a Zelink. It will be somewhat Shakespearean inspired and will include fictional plays and poetry. It promises to be maddening, with both protagonists feuding throughout practically the entire story. Only read if you can handle the frustration. Prognosis: 30-40 chapters.
The Orchard: Pending! New Twilight Princess Zelink story idea.
"He wanted to forget. He had never wanted to be the hero, but fate had thrust him into that role. Now that he had finished his quest he could live in peace. However, his simple desires are all torn apart the moment she entered his life again."
This idea hit me one day and I was able to scribble the entire plot down on paper in only a few hours. It uses the idea that I had in 'Villainous' where Link detests magic, except on a far grander scale, but unlike 'Villainous' Link, this Link would be more affected by his journey as the hero.
Born to Rule: I might actually have to scrap this one. Initially I had the plot all written out and organized, but as I've continued my other stories, I've stollen the ideas from this one and no longer have the motivation to create a new plot for it. Apologies!
Read and enjoy!
