Hoping that one day soon inspiration for a new fanfic will strike me but in the meantime am enjoying reading the many wonderful stories that are on this site.
Fandoms I am into at the moment: Harry Potter, Avatar and The Walking Dead. Also love Temeraire, Dragon Age, the Bartimaeus trilogy, Tales of the Otori and many other fandoms.

My all-time favourite stories
‘The Four House Tournament’ (Harry Potter). Four students, each from a different house, have an intense crush on Snape. This story follows their attempts to win his attention, while the Triwizard Tournament is taking place. It has a special place in my heart as it is the story that got me hooked on fanfiction and led me to sign up for my own account. 'A Valentine's Quartet' by the same authors is also wonderful.
'Storm Born' (Frankenstein) Under pressure from the Creature, Dr Frankenstein creates a bride for him.
‘Awakenings’ (Matrix) A young woman has been with the Rebels for a few years, when she discovers something in the archives linking her to Agent Smith. There is now a sequel, 'Inheritance'.
‘They Seek Him Here’ - unfinished. A Walking Dead fanfiction with no zombie apocalypse, set in East Berlin in the 1960s. Focuses on Daryl's efforts to help East Berliners escape into the West, and Beth's attempts to help him while increasingly attracting the attentions of her employer, Commandant Philip Blake.
'New Girl in Town' - a fabulous AU Haymiss story with brilliant characterisation and plenty of humour that feels like it could actually happen.
‘The Strange Disappearance of SallyAnne Perks’ (Harry Potter). One of the only fanfictions I’ve read which felt like a mystery and almost like something J K Rowling might have written herself.
‘The Loss of Ours’ (Harry Potter) About Snape and his wife during all the years he is spying for Dumbledore.
‘A Keen Observer’ (Harry Potter) Andromeda Black watches her sisters falling in love without realising she herself is falling in love with a strange Muggle boy.
Romione: 'The For and Against List' and Harmony: 'The Third Husband' and 'Nobody Saw It Coming'
'The Archdeacon and the Gypsy' (Hunchback of Notre Dame) Role-Reversal Romance: Esmeralda pursues the Archdeacon of Notre-Dame, Claude Frollo, throwing both of them into crisis.
A brief list of other favourite stories:
My favourite authors: Hannah-1888, vanityfair and Kailin. Any story by them is guaranteed to be a good read, if you like the pairing.
Humour from a range of fandoms
‘Trigger Happy’ (Harry Potter) (very short, might be unfinished) Mad Eye Moody was charged with bringing up Harry. Needless to say, Harry's method of tackling the problems he encounters during his Hogwarts career has altered radically.
‘It’s the Apocalypse Sweetheart’ (Hunger Games) – The Hunger Games, without the Hunger Games but with a zombie apocalypse. Extremely funny, and very entertaining. It contains one of my favourite lines from any story, published or not: Effie makes Haymitch go to a Laundromat to launder their clothes. ‘He didn’t know what he had hated more about that particular trip – the lecture on proper fabric care or the huge zombie that tried to bite him while he was reluctantly putting his shirts in the dryer.’
