The Joker is the boss here. His visits tend to last for a while and, as can only be expected, are frequently accompanied by sleep deprivation, twitching eyes, the tendency to talk to (or angrily mutter at) myself, and a general sense of restlessness unless I'm writing. I've learned to enjoy it. Stockholm syndrome and all that.
I'm Sara, 24. I write a lot of original fiction, but I wholeheartedly enjoy writing and reading fanfiction as well. I believe there are many merits to it and that it's a useful exercise, not to mention it's just fun, so whenever I need a break from the worlds I've made, I'll skip into someone else's. Usually Batman's, because again, the Joker calls the shots. I hope you enjoy.
Quick note-- I've left some of my older stories up on this profile because there are a lot of people attached to them and I've gotten angry/upset notes for removing things in the past, but please keep in mind that stories from five, six, seven years ago definitely aren't going to be on par with things written more recently. You're more than welcome to critique whatever you like, but I believe the flaws in my new stuff are more indicative of current and relevant trouble zones than the flaws in the older stories, and so it will probably help me more if you offer constructive criticism on the former.

Latest Update - January 28, 2014: Officially on hiatus. Unofficially throwing up a little bit of fic here and there. On a happy note, the Joker and Harley have both crawled back into my brain, so I've started a Bad Jokes-verse inspiration blog to play around with as I work on new stuff. You can find it.
