Author has written 2 stories for Oh My Goddess!.
I always liked anime and manga, ever since I saw a few series all the way back to early 90's. Probably the one that stands out is Oh My Goddess, a series that I followed for probably more than a decade so far. Actually the manga's ending is what made me start writing my first story.
Other than that, I'm also enjoying playing video games, computers and everything related to technology.
My first gaming system was in fact a Game Boy that I got back in 92-93 (if I remember correctly). So I got to see the industry move all the way from those 2D sprites to the modern 3D graphics.
I've got two active projects:
Ah! The Following day
This is actually the first fanfiction that I've ever written and combines several ideas that I had, into one single story. My primary goal is to continue from where the Ah! My Goddess manga series had left of and try to keep as close to that style, as I add new content. It is going to be a rather long story, but I will indeed try to keep it going.
Ah! The lost contract
My second story and a complete reboot of the AMG series, starting from the very beginning. However, this isn't a retelling of the series, but, a different take on the manga. In other words, it's heavily inspired by AMG and a lot of things will be familiar. Still, I won't rewrite the existing chapters and instead work with different ideas that might have some similarities at certain points, but, will also contain many differences too. Like my first story, this will be a long one, as well, and I'll try my best to keep it updated along with the other.
Both of the above stories (Ah! The Following day and Ah! The lost contract) share the same basic background as far as the backstory is concerned. Of course, given the differences between those two, certain things are inevitable modified in order to accommodate the needs of each story. That being said, there's no need to know anything in advance (other than what's canon for the AMG series) and I'll treat each as an independent work. Even when certain events will have to be mentioned again, I won't simply copy parts from one story and drop them to the other. Instead, I'll rewrite them (an in certain instances from other characters' perspective) in hopes to avoid making them too repetitive and explore other views of the same incident.
I am also currently working with HotelKatz, IdiAmeanDada, GaianKnignt and Angelalex242 of the Goddess Relief Office on a Oh My Goddess and Star Trek Online crossover story. It is under the STGoddessProject account.
Even if I'm really late, I'll do my hardest to continue and never abandon a story.
Just a fun fact: I had the hardest time to come up with some username when I first made my FanFiction account, so I ended up using 'zeroIQ' as a joke (sounded smart enough). I did eventually realize that it's actually a fairly common one on various sites. To avoid any confusion, I only use this particular name here on FanFiction . So if you run into it elsewhere on the net, that's someone else.
And an even funnier one: I seem to have the bad habit of using a different username on every site I know. How I can even remember all those is a mystery...
Speaking of usernames: I'm active on the "Goddess Relief Office" site, under the username 'vanagandr'.
Additionally, I have an account over at Archive of our own (ao3) under the same username as in here (zeroIQ) and I'm planning to keep all stories there, as well.
I would also like to thank oSuzakuo (over at deviantart) for letting me use her artwork as a cover for my stories. And for those who might be wondering, that's an image of Hild back when she was younger (prior to Urd's birth). If anyone wishes to view the picture in its full resolution, feel free to check the artist's page on deviantart, she also has some other excellent artwork to see.
