June 2020 -

A few months ago, I started up a KA (Keith/Allura) mailing list to replace the old Yahoo groups one that no longer exists. I've finally had the time and energy to get it properly set up (at least as a starting point - it will always be a living/changing entity). If you want to join, it's:

The muses have also been active lately. I'll be posting 2 stories this month (one for a Hunk's Corner Drabble challenge, the other for a challenge on my KA mailing list/message board). And I have some more ideas I'm going to explore in search of a story, and I still plan to finish Meeting in the Middle, my poor neglected baby...

May 2020 -

Things seem to have finally settled down a bit and my muses have started to awaken again. I've got some new stuff coming soon, I'm working on more, and once I'm up to speed again, I plan to finish some WIPs that have been nagging at me. I'm also working on a Voltron fandom mailing list and a sister message board mainly focused on the Keith and Allura relationship, though open to anything Voltron. I'll have more info on those here in my profile soon. In the meantime, thanks for being patient with me through my extended hiatus. I hope you all like what's coming down the pike.

January 2019 -

Things didn't go according to schedule at any point in 2018... I'm behind on writing and I really do want to finish some in-progress stuff. I've also got some household projects and family commitments that I need to take care of so I am doing my best to find a way to balance everything. I've got high hopes and big plans for 2019, so cross your fingers that this year cooperates with me a little better.

July 2018 -

So I'd planned to have more ready to post this month, but due to spending the last 2 months doing physical therapy for a pinched nerve/tennis elbow in my arm, I'm about 2 months behind where I'd hoped to be. I've recently started working on projects again (it was while going through my WIP folder that I realized I hadn't ever posted Hunka Hunka Burnin' Fruitcake). Barring anything unforeseen popping up (and assuming the muses will cooperate) I am hoping to finish up some more stuff soon.

May 2018 -

Life has put a damper on my productivity lately. Between some health issues in the family, some household changes, and some personal issues, I haven’t been able to get myself on an even keel for a while. I’m starting to see a light at the end of the tunnel though, so hopefully I’ll be able to start being more active again sometime in July. I really want to finish Meeting in the Middle (my poor neglected fic) and I have a few other in-progress things I’d like to work on so that I can post them. I apologize to anyone who’s been waiting for anything from me, but I promise that I haven’t abandoned anything, nor do I plan to. Cross your fingers that the second half of 2018 is smoother than the first...

Feb 2017 -

Haven't been able to accomplish much fandomwise lately in part due to some majorly mixed feelings about Voltron Legendary Defender, partly due to time constraints, and partly due to a general malaise/ennui killing any desire to be productive. Trying to get back into the swing of things and make some progress on my backlog of projects.

April 2016 -

Trying to find time for all the projects I want to work on - so many fandoms/mediums so little time... So far the only thing I've been keeping up with is the Drabble challenge at Hunk's Corner thenewhrh . weebly . com (no spaces) but for those who are still interested, I have been working on Meeting in the Middle again and know where the rest of the story is going, now the problem is finding time and energy to write it. I think the next two chapters should be ready to post in early May.

Feb 2016 -

Well, I finally did it - I graduated earlier this week and am finding myself with less time online/in front of the computer than before. I have a bunch of stuff I want to work on and ideas for stuff I haven't started yet, but I can't say when /how often I'll get the opportunity to work on anything.

Sept 2015 -

OK, I haven't updated my profile in a while, so here's the latest. I *do* have something that I am working on for Meeting in the Middle, but it's fighting me. I've added a third fandom (and thus my 'harem of pretty boys' expands) but I haven't done much for that one yet, though I do have some ideas. I still need to finish writing the crossover (especially since I already have a sequel in mind that pulls in the third fandom). Recently the muses have just wanted to draw, so there have been more updates to my dA account, than here, but they've been ready to do some more writing recently, so I'm just going along for the ride.

March 2015 -

I feel bad that Meeting in the Middle is still being neglected - I haven't forgotten it, but being pulled in so many directions right now. Multiple started Voltron stories, lots of image ideas, and trying to get the crossover done (the story is all planned out, just have to actually *write* it). Oh and full time school, a full time job, and a full time family. I need more hours in my days...

I've started to expand to Gatchaman/Battle of the Planets ideas as well and am trying to flesh out a crossover between Voltron's Lion force and the BotP crew. It started out as me wanting to see Keith with Mark's sonic boomerang and has turned into something else entirely. Still working out the details on that one. I've also started sketching for both of these fandoms. My attempts at such are now on deviant art:

June 2014 -

I couldn't help myself and made an attempt at a more episodic style episode including battle scenes (Something About Timing - Something About Fate) and have some additional scenes/ideas for that universe so at some point I will probably go back and continue the series with additional tales.

I have been working on mirroring my stories on Archive of Our Own - archiveofourown . org / users / Mylari / pseuds / Mylari (no spaces) and am getting ready to go back and work on completing Meeting in the Middle.

April 2014 -

I've just finished The Awakening and will soon work on finishing up Meeting in the Middle. Trying to decide if I want to add anything to The Love Bridge or The Aftermath - still undecided about the fate of those fics though...

I'm toying with attempting a full episode style fic, I have an idea, but I'm still exploring a way to make it work and deciding if I want it to be a follow up to a current fic or base it from yet another episode that I have the urge to "fix"...

Feel free to PM me if there is an episode that you'd like to see me redo into a KA mush fest and I'll see what I can come up with (I recently watched all 72 lion force episodes as well as Fleet of Doom and found "unwritten KA potential" in most of them).

I'm new to writing fanfic. I'm currently focusing on character pieces involving Voltron's Captain Keith and Princess Allura. My stories are based on the lion Voltron of the 80's and are mostly based on scenes from various episodes. I don't write battle scenes or full episode type stories right now - I'm more interested in fixing what I think was wrong or missing from the original episodes.
