Author has written 5 stories for Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew, Rise of the Guardians, and Harry Potter.
Who am I? If this helps with anything, then I will say I am a Gryffindor.
I am a writer -- an amateur writer, of course. I expose myself through writing -- in small bits, or wholly. I write with a message, or for entertainment -- and it is mostly pure imagination and play.
Many writers, I've heard, have been avid readers since childhood. I'll admit that I, when I was a child, had read many tales, but I never loved reading. I wasn't a good writer, too. I remember, I just couldn't express my imagination and myself in clear words. I started reading when I was eleven. The first novel I completed was James and the Giant Peach by Roald Dahl. Reading's not bad, I thought. The second novel I completed was Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. I actually started to like reading. After, I completed Matilda by Roald Dahl. Slowly, I completed the Harry Potter series. (I used to read Nancy Drew series at times, as well.) I realized that I could fly even if I didn't have wings, and that there was another world that I could be a part of. My love for reading started. About my writing? Well, a teacher recognized the writer inside me, and she encouraged me. Her compliments made me confident enough to express myself openly. Then, within no time, I reached the point I wanted to reach. I thank God that He gave me a gift, and I will use it to my fullest -- and help me, God, if I get proud.
The purpose of writing this was to tell you to try to grab the gifts you are blessed with. Polish them. Respect your teachers (including your parents, since they are your main teachers), because they are the ones who will recognize you probably before anyone else does. Have patience, or try to be patient (like I try to be).
I discovered the FanFiction world when I was twelve. I was searching desperately for a Nancy Drew book I was interested in online. I don't know how, but I just stumbled upon a fanfiction, and, so, started my addiction to fanfiction. I love FanFiction for all the reasons probably others do: I love it because I can read about things that the original author didn't write about, and I can read stories in which the basic idea is my idea of what-could-have-happened. It took me two years to make an account and publish my own story. I'm glad to be a part of this site.
I love the authors Roald Dahl and J.R.R. Tolkien (though I have read only one of his books, The Hobbit). Roald Dahl's books are perfectly suited for children's imagination. Even now I will eagerly read his books. I am not a child anymore, but I do like to turn into one. His books pull you into your childhood, the time when you thought anything was possible. He turns you into a child. About Tolkien -- even if I read only one of his many books, I fell in love with his imagination and writing.
My favorite books (some of them, at least): Harry Potter series (especially The Order of the Phoenix), Nancy Drew series, Night World: Witchlight, The Five People You Meet in Heaven, The Hobbit, Tom's Midnight Garden, Goodnight Mister Tom, The Boy in the Striped Pajamas, A Walk to Remember, Marcia Schuyler, The Guardians, The Iron Way, Dragon's Rock, To Kill a Mocking Bird, David Copperfield, Days of Hope, The Chronicles of Narnia, and anything and everything by Roald Dahl.
My favorite movies: Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, I am Legend, Public Enemies, Gran Torino, The Book of Eli, Inception, The Day the Earth Stood Still, Knowing, The Woman in Black, The Omen, Ice Age (all parts), Harry Potter movies (especially The Deathly Hallows Part 1 and 2), Hugo, My Name is Khan (a Bollywood film), The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Green Zone, The Maze Runner... And the list goes on.
The T.V. shows I watch, or used to watch, are Ben 10, PowerPuff Girls (I know, I know, it's kids stuff), Criminal Minds, Jessie, iCarly, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Sleepy Hollow.
I'll publish fanfiction (I have loads of ideas) for these fandoms in the future: Harry Potter, Rise of the Guardians, The Chronicles of Narnia, Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew, and PowerPuff Girls. I will write stories that mostly explore someone's feelings, so Hurt/Comfort, Angst, and Romance are the genres under which mostly my stories will be written. There will come Mystery and Adventure stories, I guess, when I will get time.
The things I do not like to include in my fanfictions, or do not want to find in others:
Now, I will suggest people to read these two stories, which have their flaws, but are meritorious (according to me):
Thank you for viewing my profile, someone.
God Bless. :)
