I'm a woman in her twenties living on the east coast of the US. I have been writing for fourteen years. In that time, I've been a member of many fandoms and cultivated many aspects of my own writing style. I have written a few long/chapter fics (aka stuff with plot!) but for the most part I like to fill in moments that we don't see in canon. Plot is great and obviously by necessity it guides most movies, shows, and books. But the in between stuff is what make characters seem truly human, and it's often lacking. I think fanfiction fills these gaps and I also like to think that I play some small part in this :)
