Progress: Current stories I have posted and notes about other things I'm working on. I currently have almost a hundred pages of notes and outlines for several different stories. If I get far enough into any of them I'll post a bit of a preview here.

Twisted Wand: 180k words written. On hold due to exposure to concentrated bad luck.

Tempest of the Fae: I have finally found a beta, unfortunately, I have also lost all the chapters I’d written but not posted. I loath to write things I’ve already written as they never sound as good so it is a slow process.

Upcoming stories

Wandwood: When the attack on Harry's brother leaves everyone thinking that he is a squib, Sirius takes his duties as godfather seriously and adopts Harry, taking him across the pond to a place where squibs aren't treated as badly. But Harry still has his magic and attends the North American school for Magic, Wandwood. After their first Christmas break, a new student from Hogwarts transfers to the school. Harry and Hermione pairing, first three years take place at Wandwood, fourth at Hogwarts. Wrong Boy Who Lived story.

Note: I wrote a majority of this story, the first half, the complete plot, well before anything was known about magical schools outside of Europe or the structure of the American magical government. As such most of this story will not follow the information that has been released on those subjects.

Unnamed New Dimension: They won, and were killed. Magic knows that wasn’t how it was supposed to be and offers Harry and Hermione the chance to live again in a different timeline, Harry’s sister is the Girl-Who-Lived, his parents are alive, the catch? Harry has to replace the version of himself already in that world, who is as big of a bastard as Voldemort without the self-control, and Hermione won’t remember him until she kisses him.

Now Harry has to convince everyone that he isn’t violently insane anymore while helping his sister survive the Tri-Wizard Tournament. A good thing Luna and Dobby believe he has changed.

Unnamed Knowledge: The Sorting Hat doesn’t just sort new students, it was also made to hold copies of the best that have passed through Hogwarts, the masters of their fields, and to pass that knowledge on to whoever has a true need of it.

After Voldemort is revived the Sorting Hat offers that knowledge to Harry, but knowledge and ability are two different things. Will Harry master the skills he has received in time to make a difference? Harry/Hermione

Death’s Debt challenge

Hermione dies at the battle of Hogwarts, cursed and refused treatment because she is a muggle born. Realizing what he has lost but unsure what to do Harry retrieves Hermione’s parents and explains what happened. Sometime later Luna tells Harry how the Hallows can be used to summon Death.

In an attempt to get Hermione back Harry calls Death and learns that even he cannot return the dead, but he can give Harry a second chance. There’s a catch though, Death can only send Harry back using Harry’s own magic. At that time Harry has enough magic to go back one week, not nearly far enough to save Hermione.

The solution, meet Death in three days at the veil with every piece of magic he can get his hands on to fuel the time travel. Harry does and when he steps through the veil Death realizes there is a problem, Harry’s overpaid. He brought enough magic to send himself back to before he was born.

Death must find a way to pay Harry back for the extra magic, and until he can he’ll just live in Harry’s scar and offer advice.

Requirements

Harry vastly overpays Death who must now live in Harry’s scar and help until the debt is paid.

Harry and Hermione pairing, add others if you like.

Hermione’s parents must accompany Harry to the veil and are sent back as well as part of Death’s attempts to pay off his debt.

Suggestions

Dumbledore is alive and returns to finish Voldemort at the Battle of Hogwarts, still has the wand.

The sources of magic: Charged ward stones bought from the goblins/ house elves, Fawkes appears just before Harry steps through the veil and willing goes with him, the Horcruxes (not magical but they represent a debt already owed to Harry)

Once back Harry hires the Goblins to deal with the Horcruxes.
