Author has written 16 stories for Ranma, Yu Yu Hakusho, Vampire Hunter D, Secret/Legend of Mana, Rurouni Kenshin, and Okami.
I'm your standard anime/vg otaku fangirl, only I'm nice and calm since I've gotten all my shots. No rabies here, though I do occasionally enthuse a little much.
Current game addictions: none, though Okamiden is trying really, really hard. Edit 6/9/11: Finished Okamiden after a relatively low play total of 29 hours. And, barring a few characters, I am now going to pretend that Okamiden does not exist. Thank you, Capcom, for giving me a sequel that is mostly a bad repeat of Okami with mini versions of the characters and no worthwhile story to speak of. There had SO better be a third game in the works to make up for this.
Um...I'm a fan of folk music, rhymed poetry, fantasy and science fiction (Harry Dresden, whee! But the novella in Side Jobs just makes me want the next book even more), Avatar: TLA, and have written fanfiction for several years now. I also have a few novel-length stories that are original, but those won't be posted anywhere until they've gotten the overhauling of their lives.
And yes, I babble. You will learn this.
Heads up for 06/11: I liiiiive! No, seriously, I really do, despite this past month and a half being absolute hell and chaos. The bank finally decided that we had to pack up and get out of our old house, and let me tell you, it's weird calling someplace home that doesn't automatically include the same residence as two thirds of my family. Hopefully the place I've moved into will be, as the animal shelters call it, my "forever home".
Moving meant three to four weeks of hectic packing--none of us are entirely sure what got packed where and whatnot--and my computer has been disassembled for almost that long. It's finally put back together so now I can keep writing. Yay!
Fanime was one of the other factors. It was also a disappointment compared to other years in that it was also one of the most disorganized years (on the con's part) that I've ever attended. There were no printed schedules and a fair portion of the panels were last-minute slapdashes tossed in there because hey, it was steampunk theme this year and Con-Ops forgot to put together any steampunk panels. But I got a number of compliments on my themed costume, so that was nice.
I...um...also got suckered into WoW. Pity me, all ye who have avoided the addiction.
In better news, my sister gets married on July 2nd, 29 days and counting. Weird doesn't even begin to cover how that feels.
