Author has written 12 stories for Harry Potter, Phantom, and Avengers.
Stargon has lived his whole life in Queensland, Australia. After growing up in Ipswich, he lived for a short time in Brisbane while attending University. Work then took him to Far North Queensland for a number of years before he moved to his current home of Toowoomba.
For as long as Mark can remember, there have been characters clamouring to have their stories told. Mark has spent the last few years dabbling in FanFiction, primarily in the worlds of Harry Potter and Marvel, creating unique stories, situations and characters.
Recently, Mark has returned to creating original stories. In fact, there are quite a number that are bouncing around inside his head awaiting their turn to venture out into the world. That doesn’t mean that he will be abandoning his FanFiction stories or fans, after all, those stories have become a huge part of not only him but his writing journey and it’s not something that he is willing to give up but will instead find a balance between the two – original and FanFiction.
When he’s not sitting with laptop or notebook in hand, he can be found at work, with his family (who also happen to be his biggest fans) or out on the football (soccer) field where he not only plays but also referees and Coordinates an entire competition.
Ultimately, Mark dreams of the day when he can write full time but until then, as he says, “I’m a wordsmith, it’s who I am; if I didn’t write, I wouldn’t be me”.

So then, on to the stories:
The Cupboard Series:
Book 1: The Cupboard Under the Stairs
A mysterious green inked letter banished Harry from his cupboard. But does taking the boy out of the cupboard also mean that you've taken the cupboard out of the boy? A first year fic.
Book 2: Hermione's Book Nook
Even bars on the window, locks on the door and a demented house-elf can't keep Harry away from his friends. The Ministry hearing, though, might be a different story. And then there's that letter from his dad ... A second year fic.
Book 3: Potter Haven
After the disastrous events at King's Cross Station at the end of Harry and Hermione's second year, Harry's been expelled from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and is now on the run. Hunted by the Ministry of Magic and Albus Dumbledore alike, Harry must somehow learn to survive alone while at the same time continuing his magical education. The third year of Harry and Hermione's magical education.
Book 4: The Fourth School
The TriWizard Tournament has been revived and the three largest and most prestigious schools in Europe are due to compete - Hogwarts, Beauxbatons and Durmstrang. And in a mark of respect, the newest and smallest school in not only Britain but also all of Europe, has been invited to watch. If only things were that simple. The fourth year of Harry and Hermione's magical education.
Book 5: United We Stand …
Lord Voldemort has risen. The Minister of Magic is dead. War has been declared. Now is the time for those of the Light to unite, for to do so will give them a chance to stand, to face the Darkness and to survive. For we all know what happens to those who are divided …
Book 6: Castle Voldemort
Hogwarts has fallen. In its place stands Castle Voldemort. With the Hogwarts students held hostage, the Ministry has surrendered. All of magical Britain is now under the rule of Lord Voldemort. All, that is, but for those few at Diricawl Academy of Magical Studies. But what can so few really do against such odds?
Book 7: Graduation Day
Seven years ago, Harry Potter was taken from the cupboard under the stairs and thrust into the wizarding world. His first magic school, Hogwarts, didn't work out, so, together with some new friends, Harry founded his own - Diricawl Academy of Magical Studies. They've learnt a lot and even saved the wizarding world from an evil Dark Lord. Now, it's finally time to graduate.
Book 1: Muggle-Raised Champion
The day before Harry Potter was due to go to Hogwarts for the very first time, his aunt and uncle informed him that he wouldn't be going. Instead, he was sent to Stonewall High. Now, three years later, the Goblet of Fire has named him as a TriWizard Champion. What that means is anyone's guess, but to Harry, one thing is clear: he can finally get away from Privet Drive. Not a part of the Cupboard Under the Stairs Series.
Book 2: Harry Potter, Dragon Whisperer
Being a parselmouth, Harry is hired by all of the Dragon Sanctuaries. His new job: to travel the world, check on all the dragons, talk to them and learn about them. The dragons have also heard of Harry's talent - as an artist and they can be pushy about having their portrait painted. With dragons, magizoologists and shades of Dark Lords after him, Harry's life is anything but dull.
Other Harry Potter Stories:
A Sorting Like No Other
The Sorting Hat (or Brian to his friends) has had enough of being told by Albus-Too-May-Names Dumbledore exactly how certain new students should be sorted. He's seen the four great Houses of Hogwarts decline from what The Founders had once envisioned them to be. For once, he's going to take matters into his own, um, hands? The incoming class of 1991 isn't going to know what hit them. Get ready for a Sorting like no other. One shot. Not a part of my Cupboard Series.
After five years travelling the world, Harry Potter has landed in New York. He figures that there's no better place than the city that never sleeps to settle in and forge a new life. If only the heroes, villains, aliens and spies had received the message. Begins just before the Avengers movie and continues through the MCU. Expect a long story with some extra faces along the way.
Heroes Assemble! The Ghost of Bengalla
When pirates of the Singh Brotherhood attack and seize a cargo ship full of weapons off of the coast of Bengalla, S.H.I.E.L.D. send in Agent Phil Coulson to deal with the situation. Bengalla, though, has their own protector, one who has been combatting these pirates for nearly 500 years. It’s time for Coulson to meet a new hero. A story set in the universe of ‘Heroes Assemble!’ One-shot.
Languages Other Than English:
Fanfiction user Akerthy is currently translating Heroes Assemble! into French (with my full permission and support). You can see and read my story in French by going to Akerthy's profile page. Unfortunately, this lasted a total of 3 chapters. *sigh*
Muggle-Raised Champion is also being translated into German by Thorrus (again with my full permission and support). If you read German, go to his profile page and have a read.
The Cupboard Series is currently being translated into French by Xelotorix (with my full permission and support). If you read French, then head on over to his profile page and check it out.
5/1/17 - It's new story time. 'Heroes Assemble' is my first attempt at a crossover (between Harry Potter and the Avengers). Seeing as I have the first 20 chapters written, I thought that it was time to start posting it for others to (hopefully) enjoy.
21/12/17 - It's taken 3 1/2 years, 7 books, 85 chapters and over 625k words, but finally the Cupboard Series is finished. There were times I wondered if I'd ever get to this point. Hopefully, everyone enjoyed it as much I enjoyed writing it. I'll take a bit of a break now, just focussing on 'Heroes Assemble!' before beginning a new story. Let me know in the poll what you'd like to see.
26/09/18 - Let it be known, that no story of mine will ever be abandoned.
15/05/19 - Cleaned up the Profile slightly in preparation for 2 new stories within the next 3 weeks. The first is a one-shot set within the universe of 'Heroes Assemble!'. The second is the long-awaited and long-anticipated sequel to 'Muggle-Raised Champion' (both stories will come under the same banner: The Dragon Chronicles)
