Author has written 11 stories for Lord of the Rings, Bible, Star Wars, and Star Wars.
If you're wondering where my pen name came from, it's a rough translation of my real name into Tolkien's Sindarin Elvish. One of the meanings of 'Leslie' is supposed to be 'dweller in the grey fortress,' and 'Mithostwen' literally means 'grey fortress maiden.'
Onto The Actual Bio:
I'm a recent college grad and I'm probably still as obsessive about my favorite stories as I was when I was four. The only difference is that now, instead of bringing a drawing of Simba or Nala home from preschool every single day, I write fanfiction in my spare time.
A list of my favorite books would have to include Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings, Terry Pratchett's Discworld series, Pride and Prejudice, The Book Thief, and the Hunger Games trilogy, though that list is by no means exhaustive. I love writing that make me think as much as I love writing that makes me laugh, and if you can do both, I will love you forever.
But enough about me. You're probably more interested in this:
News About My Stories (updated January 2014):
What the History Holos Leave Out: I went ahead and posted the two completed chapters that I had sitting on my hard drive, even though they weren't meant to come next chronologically. I don't know when I'll have a chance to fill in the gaps.
Stuff you haven't read yet: Also lurking in the shadowy corners of my computer's memory are two KotOR II stories that I haven't posted here yet, or even worked out how to finish. One features both the Exile and Revan, and the other features the Exile and... another Exile. Because Jedi can be a little bit oblivious, and sometimes it takes hurling them into an alternate universe for them to see what's really been going on with their crew the whole time. Especially with the Exile's crew, where just about everyone is up to something behind her back.
Survivor Middle-Earth: I was planning to post more chapters, since I've gotten some requests, but that won't be possible unless I find the notebook where it's written. (It's from the dark ages, AKA middle-school, when I actually wrote my stories on paper.) And at this point, I don't think it's going to turn up.
Echoes of Light, my alternate ending to Revenge of the Sith, is complete. Thank you to everyone who gave me such great feedback! For those of you who were hoping for a sequel, I apologize. I doubt I'll be writing one. It's hard to get back into something that's lain dormant for so long, and I don't know where I would take it next.
N.A.Q. (Never Asked Questions, but things that I might wonder if I were reading this):
Yes, I am still alive. I haven't posted anything recently, but my stories are still floating around in the back of my mind accumulating ideas along with all the dust as they wait for the next available opportunity to break out.
That's it for now.
Thanks for reading! And may the Force be ever in your favor, my dear hobbits.
