![]() Author has written 11 stories for Star Trek: 2009, Harry Potter, and Chronicles of Narnia. Welcome. I'm a Potterhead and Trekkie. All my Star Trek stories are short but I dived into novel-length story writing for the first time in HP. I realize my earlier chapters of Dysfunctional are pretty basic but I am proud of how much I've learnt along the way. Harry Potter - Dysverse: Dysfunctional (ongoing) Shorts: The Hearing The Golden Snidget A few things to know about me as a writer: - I plan out my stories with only the barest details. Most of the sub-plots are things I came up with on the fly but somehow it just fits so well by some massive stroke of luck. I've even ended up changing the ending mid-way about thrice. (But even with all this chaos, I'm unable to take in suggestions since I pretty much have a solid plan in my head now, as we're nearing the end of Dysfunctional). - I'm not really looking for criticism. Fanfiction to me, is a mere hobby and one that I highly enjoy. To be swamped by criticism in an attempt to "better myself as a writer" would take out all the joy. I never intend to become a writer in real life anyway. - Despite that, I love hearing from readers. When someone appreciates my work, into which I've put in a piece of my heart and soul, is highly rewarding. I have lost so many sleepless nights writing my story and the notifications that pop up when there's a new review have been the only reward, literally. - Most of my works are centred around the themes of family/friendship/hurt comfort and angst. I'm a pretty emotionless person and writing (and reading) is the only outlet for me to explore my emotions. - English is not my first language, so any cultural or grammatical faux pas might be possible in my works, even though I try my hardest to research into it and avoid it. Star Trek - I will recommend an AMAZING author whose every work never fails to impress. Check out the author "KCS" and thank me later! Other recommended authors: Inhoe Publishing HeronS (for TOS) |
