alternative ending to season 4

The Doctor and Rose wake up in a 1950's style living room in 50's style clothing. What is going on? How did they get to this place?

Originally just one short story "The Moment", I will now be posting a series of one-shots here, all dedicated to the Doctor and Rose Tyler. (One-shot; rated K for occasional cursing).

The Doctor loves a lot of things, he's even got some favourite things.

Set during the episode School Reunion - the Doctor has to contend with his class gossiping and asking inappropriate questions about the nature of his and Rose's relationship.

"They're one of the few species that mate for life."

The doctor is many things, Donna learns. He is a maelstrom of fire and ice and rage all neatly rolled into one molten package. He is fathomless and hollow. A walking dead with nothing left to believe in...empty, a husk. But, she knows, for a certainty knows, that all it will take is one word, one name to give him back his soul...

The TARDIS has crashed, the Doctor is missing, and Rose is alone in the dark.

Companion piece to Dreaming in Color. Rose begins to suspect that the telepathic link between the two Doctors is still active.
