Author has written 25 stories for Fire Emblem, Tales of Symphonia, Beyblade, Legend of Zelda, Yu-Gi-Oh, Avatar: Last Airbender, and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney.
WELCOME! Thanks for visiting my profile (and for checking out my stories, presumably)!
P.S. My profile avatar was not made my me. I found the image on 9gag and it seriously made me laugh so hard I cried (it might have also been because it was 6:30am and I was sleep deprived at work). So yeah, Raichu eating a battery. So cute. I wish I could just eat batteries to recharge myself...
A little about myself...
I am a notoriously slow updater, and nothing will change that, unfortunately, so please don't tell/beg/demand me to make quicker updates... My inspiration tends to come and go spontaneously, so...
Probably 80% of the time, I ship unpopular/non-canon (but I sear they have a believable basis)/random/borderline-crack-but-not-quite pairings. I don't know why. I think it's because I'm a glutton for punishment and masochistic in the sense that I insist on shipping these obscure pairings and then being extremely disappointed that there are no fanfictions featuring them.
I love to chat with other authors and bounce ideas off other people, so if you ever want, feel free to drop me a PM. Unfortunately I don't beta, because I can't commit the time.
Current fixations as of November 8, 2013... (In case anyone cares)
Also, this is the first time in the Ace Attorney series where I actually have an OTP... For the other games, I've always loved Phoenix/Iris, Edgeworth/Maya and Klavier/Ema, but it's never been to the point where I felt consumed by how much I love those couples. Blackquill/Athena is officially my OTP for the Ace Attorney series. To me, they were meant to be together, and they have such an amazing bond. The things that they did for each other just killed me. It also kills me that there is barely any fanwork of them... so far...
In-Progress Stories/Up-Coming Stories (a lot of these are tentative and may or may not happen...)
(In-Progress) De novo - My first ever Ace Attorney story... Driven by my new obsession: the Blackquill/Athena pairing. And, to my disappointment, the first (and, thus far) only story on here that stars them. "De novo" is a latin term that roughly translates to "from the beginning" or "anew". It's mostly employed as a legal term (such as trial de novo for when a new trial is ordered)... at least in Canada, it is. Anyway, this is meant to be a glimpse of Blackquill's first year out of prison, with gratuitous amounts of Athena. Hopefully, this story will spark a trend and there will be mooooore of them! (Yes, I'm aware that I have problems)
(In-Progress) The Bestest Big Brother Ever - A YGO story in which Serenity and Mokuba get into an argument over whose big brother is better. But instead of settling it like normal people, they decide that it's a good idea to swap places (and, thus, big brothers). Madness ensues. Also, with some hints of Silentshipping (because it's too cute). However, right now, it's turning out to be more complentative and deeper than I originally intended.
(In-Progress) Everything in Between - This is just an anthology of one-shots that span all the FE games that I've played. I wrote this for the Fire Emblem 100 Challenge (which revolves around 100 themes). I hope that I will actually finish all 100 themes one day...
Verstehen - A YGO one-shot that I've been slowly piecing together. I still haven't got all the pieces sorted out yet, but I'm definitely excited to write this. It's going to be a completely angst-ridden somewhat romance (Silentshipping, if you couldn't guess). This will probably take me a while to write out since I have very high expectations for this one and I want to make it as best as I possibly can. One day though...
The Curse of the Blue Rose - Tentative Title - Another YGO story featuring Silentshipping. This one will be an AU fantasy based on the story of Beauty and the Beast. I know it's an overused theme, but I just love it. I promise that it'll be more original than you expect though (and rather darker, if everything goes as planned).
Life As We Know It - ANOTHER YGO story. OMG, I'm being consumed by it! Anyway, this will be the sequel to The Bestest Big Brother Ever. But it's taking a complete 180 and being turned into a very angsty story focused on Serenity as she deals with her family falling apart (quite literally). Of course, there will be hints of Silentshipping, but it's more friendship based since the Kaiba brothers are in fact two characters that Serenity will turn to. So there's also a strong focus on the three's relationship with one another. But, ultimately, I aim to have this be about Serenity growing up and learning more about herself.
Time Stands Still - Tentative Title - Oh geeze, here it comes: YGO. Aha, I know I'm getting ahead of myself here, this is the sequel to Life As We Knew It. This time, it's a straight-up Silentshipping story that'll take place when both Kaiba and Serenity are adults. The premise of the story is that Serenity's finally gotten her life back on track, but Kaiba is about ready to move on and take the next step in life, and Serenity is just realizing that she might be left behind (and that she is, in fact, in love with Kaiba).
The Butterfly Lovers - This hasn't been posted yet, but it's an Avatar: TLA story. It's going to be an AU Zutara take on the classic Chinese legend (pretty much the Chinese version of Romeo and Juliet), with lots of liberties taken. Plotting out the story right now, and the first chapter will hopefully be up soon.
Untitled x2- Due to sort-of popular demand, and a lucky stroke of inspiration, I have plans for (two) sequels to Money Can't Buy Everything, making it into a complete trilogy of stories revolving around Heather and Volke (though I'm undecided on how romantically involved I want them to become, at this point not very much). My plan is to delve more into what happened to Heather after MCBE, and I'd also like to explore Volke's past more. The second installment will involve the two having to work together on an espionage/infiltration mission for Bastian and Lucia, as well as Heather's past coming back to haunt her. The third one-shot will be more Volke-centric and will tie up the loose ends I will be leaving in the second one. Anything else is a secret for now.
Untitled - An up-coming FE10 one-shot that I've been wanting to write for a while now, but haven't quite figure it out. It'll be an OscarAstridMakalov love triangle tragedy that's heavily inspired by The Phantom of the Opera. As in the last scene in it. That was always one of my favourite scenes, because it was so heart-wrenching.
