WELCOME! Thanks for visiting my profile (and for checking out my stories, presumably)!
P.S. My profile avatar was not made my me. I found the image on 9gag and it seriously made me laugh so hard I cried (it might have also been because it was 6:30am and I was sleep deprived at work). So yeah, Raichu eating a battery. So cute. I wish I could just eat batteries to recharge myself...
A little about myself...
I am a notoriously slow updater, and nothing will change that, unfortunately, so please don't tell/beg/demand me to make quicker updates... I'm extremely busy with school, and my inspiration tends to come and go spontaneously, so...
Probably 80% of the time, I ship unpopular/non-canon/random/borderline-crack-but-not-quite pairings (but I swear they have a believable basis). I don't know why. I think it's because I'm a glutton for punishment and masochistic in the sense that I insist on shipping these obscure pairings and then feel extremely disappointed that there are no fanfictions featuring them.
I love to chat with other authors and bounce ideas off other people, so if you ever want, feel free to drop me a PM. Unfortunately I don't beta, because I can't commit the time.
Current fixations as of February 15, 2015... (In case anyone cares)
Tales of the Abyss
In-Progress Stories/Up-Coming Stories (tentative and may or may not happen... Also, spoilers abound)
(In-Progress) De novo - My first ever Ace Attorney story... Driven by my new obsession: the Blackquill/Athena pairing. And, to my disappointment, the first (and, thus far) only story on here that stars them. "De novo" is a latin term that roughly translates to "from the beginning" or "anew". It's mostly employed as a legal term (such as trial de novo for when a new trial is ordered)... at least in Canada, it is. Anyway, this is meant to be a glimpse of Blackquill's first year out of prison, with gratuitous amounts of Athena. Hopefully, this story will spark a trend and there will be mooooore of them! (Yes, I'm aware that I have problems)
(In-Progress) The Bestest Big Brother Ever - A YGO story in which Serenity and Mokuba get into an argument over whose big brother is better. But instead of settling it like normal people, they decide that it's a good idea to swap places (and, thus, big brothers). Madness ensues. Also, with some hints of Silentshipping (because it's too cute). However, right now, it's turning out to be more complentative and deeper than I originally intended.
(In-Progress) Everything in Between - This is just an anthology of one-shots that span all the FE games that I've played. I wrote this for the Fire Emblem 100 Challenge (which revolves around 100 themes). I hope that I will actually finish all 100 themes one day...
Untitled - A multi-chapter (probably) Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright story focusing on Barnham. I'd really like to explore (my take on) his past life before Labyrinthia and really delve into the psychological issues he must have undergone before and after Labyrinthia. Especially with respect to the dealing with his previous role as Inquisitor (seriously, can you just imagine the guilt?). I'd also really like to tie Espella into this as well. I'm not 100% sure if I will, depending if I can make it mesh with the story or not, but I think she also has a very unique but complimentary experience to Barnham's. I also honestly thought they would make an interesting couple, and I still stand by that even though the bonus content effectively sunk that ship. I just think that it would be interesting to see how these two could help each other through their problems - it just seemed more interesting dynamic to explore than the typical Espella and Eve or Barnham and Eve dualities.
Fiat justitia ruat caelum - An AA:DD one-shot that is meant to depict what went through Blackquill's mind when he decided to take the fall for Athena and the emotional rollercoaster that he goes through when the truth comes out. It's going to be a complete angst-show, haha. But I just want to try and recreate that chill that went down my spine when everything was revealed to you in game. It was a very powerful moment in the game and tops as one of my most memorable AA moments.
The Butterfly Lovers - This hasn't been posted yet, but it's an Avatar: TLA story. It's going to be an AU Zutara take on the classic Chinese legend (pretty much the Chinese version of Romeo and Juliet), with lots of liberties taken. Most of the story is plotted out, but whether it'll ever be written is another story.
Untitled x2- Due to sort-of popular demand, and a lucky stroke of inspiration, I have plans for (two) sequels to Money Can't Buy Everything, making it into a complete trilogy of stories revolving around Heather and Volke (though I'm undecided on how romantically involved I want them to become, at this point not very much). My plan is to delve more into what happened to Heather after MCBE, and I'd also like to explore Volke's past more. The second installment will involve the two having to work together on an espionage/infiltration mission for Bastian and Lucia, as well as Heather's past coming back to haunt her. The third one-shot will be more Volke-centric and will tie up the loose ends I will be leaving in the second one. Anything else is a secret for now.
Untitled - An FE10 one-shot that I've been wanting to write for a while now, but haven't quite figure it out. It'll be an OscarAstridMakalov love triangle tragedy that's heavily inspired by The Phantom of the Opera. As in the last scene in it. That was always one of my favourite scenes, because it was so heart-wrenching.
