Author has written 8 stories for Pacific Rim, and Big Hero 6.
24 year old guy who works at Home Depot and writes Pacific Rim Fanfic for fun. Currently going to school to become an airframe and powerplant mechanic (airplane structure and engine mechanic to those of you who don't know how to use Google. ;) ) Probably going to lean more towards the powerplant side, as I can't rivet aluminum to save my life, let alone someone else's life.
What inspired me to write:
I've always had stories and adventures running through my head when I get some down time, but I never put them down in writing. Too personal or too out there to be comfortable sharing.
Then I found this place (again... I did some reading here a few years back as a lurker over on the Stargate SG-1 fandom side) after watching Pacific Rim, and decided to put some stuff down on the computer. Forged In Fire was the first result of that, and has... kinda taken on a life of its own. I'm also rather enjoying it.
I might look into doing some TRON: Legacy stuff after I finish with the Pacific Rim story arc I'm doing, and maybe a PR/T:L crossover or two. Who knows?
Dogs or cats: I've had both, and don't have a preference.
PC or Mac: PC. I hate Apple computers.
Sports teams: Niners and SF Giants, baby!
Favorite sport: Air racing. (Look up Reno Air Races to get a good idea of what I'm talking about)
Halo, CoD, or BF: Halo. By far, Halo.
Music tastes: depends on the situation, and even which character I'm writing at the time. (For example, in Forged in Fire, Newt's themes tend to be from The Glitch Mob, while Herc is heavily in the direction of AC/DC.)
Passions: Aviation and spaceflight, mechanical stuff, military history.
Words of wisdom:
"Never argue with drunks, stupid people, conspiracy theorists, or internet trolls. They'll just drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience."
"There is no such thing as 'overkill.' There is only 'Open fire!' and 'Time to reload.'"
"Mad science means never stopping to ask, 'What's the worst thing that could happen?'"
