Author has written 24 stories for Lord of the Rings, Chronicles of Narnia, Batman, Silmarillion, Big Valley, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
I've been a fanfiction writer, reader, and reviewer for years. Now I've decided to tell my readers about myself here. My goal, whenever I speak and write, is to use the words God gives me.
I make a consistent and passionate study of the Bible and believe it to be true. I believe the poetry books hold wisdom and beauty both ancient and modern readers can admire, learn from, and worship with. I believe the narratives are recorded history as well as stories “useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness ...” (1 Timothy 3:16) NIV. I believe the letters in the Bible were written to the members of the churches they are addressed to, but can also teach, warn, and encourage “us.” I believe the prophecies of the Bible are filled with metaphors and fantastic imagery, but are also trustworthy. I believe the Bible tells us who God is, who we are, and how we will or will not be with Him for eternity. God also reveals Himself to us through the Holy Spirit, the world He gave us, and his Son.
My stories often reflect the teachings of the Bible since I drench my imagination it. Perhaps I learned my respect for source material from my respect for the Word. When I write fanfiction, I try to stay true to the settings and characters I borrow. I even try to mimic the writing style of the original authors sometimes.
My love of reading led to my love of writing and began early in my life. Both my parents are avid if not obsessive readers, and I followed their example. I was also a TV addict at one point. However, I have now mostly replaced TV with listening to “Adventures in Odyssey.”
I am also interested in movies to the point of near-obsession. I even enjoy listening to their commentaries. In my college years, I learned how to create movies and TV shows, because I thought I wanted to make doing so my life's work. A few semesters in, I realized my passion was not in audio or video production, but writing. I still write like someone who learned to write scripts. Part of my training was grading and critiquing others' scripts. So, I've become known now for my long, detailed reviews on fanfiction.net.
While the shows, movies, and books I love are many, I have only written fanfics for Narnia, Middle-earth, and Batman. I partly do this, because C. S. Lewis and J. R. R. Tolkien can no longer continue their stories themselves. Batman, however, has had many different writers including me in a non-professional capacity. My Narnia story is set in the movie-verse and just before, during, and after the Golden Age. My Middle-earth stories mostly take place in the time periods between books. My Batman source materials are many. So, I've cobbled together bits of each with Batman source material with my own mortar. I've created my own OCs for all of these story-universes too and am quite proud of them.
Hopefully I'll someday have fiction books on sale to direct you to if you can't get enough of my writing or just find it very tolerable and are bored. ;)
God bless and keep you
