He should open a bottle of Jack Daniels, and drink just enough to impair his judgment. That way, he would have to stay at home and be unable to drive to Carter's house to make sure that she really is alive and home and safe. Rating due to a bad word near the end.

Jack knew. He just knew. As soon as Daniel had suggested that they would need to delay their return home by an additional 24 hours in order to attend a celebration and thereby not offend the locals on PCZ-3R2, Jack knew that the mission would go to hell.

Sam's life takes a turn in an unexpected direction when she's faced with an unplanned pregnancy. The decision to keep the baby and raise it on her own will alter her life forever. Relationships are put to the test, especially the one between her and Jack. She doesn't know what to expect from him and he surprises her at every turn.

Jack is bored sitting behind a desk so manages to worm his way on to an away mission through the Stargate. Its suppose to be routine, a simple diplomatic meet and greet. Yet as always, simple missions never stay that way when Jack O'Neill is involved.

He never imagined he'd regret kissing Samantha Carter, but right now it all seemed like one big mistake.

Sam and Jack decide to make a go of it in an unusual way. Poor Daniel suffers through it. Elements of Team Fic. The Asgard get involved. Standing in the control room, Sam can't keep the smile off her face. Jack just watches as he knows she's going to give the game away. This is the story of what lead to that smile and how they deal with the after effects.

Set after season 8, during 9 and 10 and onwards. Jack tells her he loves her all the time. He’s waited for years to able to say the words aloud. And it kills him a little bit that Sam can’t do the same without a little alcohol to relax her.

When lightning strikes the DHD and strands Sam and Jack alone on a planet, they must rely on one another to get through until help can arrive. Soon, though, they discover they're not alone on the planet and things change. Suddenly they're thrust into local politics and Sam is drafted to help save the locals' lives. Perhaps, all of it can help them get home.

A series of connected episode tags beginning with Forever in a Day. Sam shows up on Jack's doorstep with a six pack of beer, a bottle of cheap wine and a package of chicken breasts. Jack's confused. They cook dinner.

Another road that 'Threads' could have taken

Jack manages to get himself captured and Sam is sent to negotiate for his freedom. Unfortunately, the matriarch in charge of the male slaves is unconvinced of her claim and threatens to keep Jack as her personal slave.

Jack flies out to visit Sam for a military event and carries with him a small box with something special in it.

Christmas story! Set between seasons 8 and 9. With Sam settled in her position at Area 51, it's been a few months since she and Jack have spoken. On impulse, she invites Jack and her former teammates to join her, Cassandra and her brother's family to celebrate the Holidays with her in Nevada. Will Jack go? Hmmm… (S/J romance)

A misunderstanding on a planet leaves Jack and Sam in close quarters.

All Sam wanted was to go home but readjusting to life on Earth is more difficult than expected. Nothing is the same and she doesn't know who to trust and what she wants anymore, other than keeping her daughter safe. Jack knows exactly what he wants and makes sure he's there for them, even before he learns the truth.

"Sir," Janet called, pinning the commander with a look. "Colonel O'Neill has just spent days killing anyone and everyone who came near Sam. His hormone levels are still dangerously high and he hasn't even begun to deal with what has happened. One hot night on an alien planet, after Jack and Sam indulge in a little alien baklava, things get heated between them. Yet another twitter challenge. This one came before the one that resulted in Not a Perfect Solution, and I can't quite remember what the challenge was, but this was the result.
