I'm a hard headed feminist
I'm a vegan.
I have HUGE anger issues.
I have a 3-year-old...Rabbit. Jason Rose David Yost, my Monkey Butt.
I don't watch a lot of TV and what I do is based out of Britain, or cartoons. North American television is horrible.
I like reading. My favorite movements are American Modernism (including the Harlem Renaissance), the Beat Generation, and Southern Gothic. I'm starting to appreciate certain Postmodern pieces.
I also read comics. In the age old Marvel V DC, I'm a DC girl at heart.
I'm a heavy gamer.
I speak English and French and can get by in German.
About my Stories:
I have a hard time committing to a story, I over think the plots, or come to a section I really don't want to write (which is what happened with Sonant & Surd, and DADT).
Anyway stories usually don't get completed within the same year, and they're generally about pregnancy - it fascinates me.
I write what I feel like writing. I realize this may infuriate you and make me, for lack of a better word, 'unpopular'. I however, challenge you to write something you don't want to write. Go ahead, write me an essay on the trends of early feminism in restoration literature and I'll complete a chapter in any story as long as your essay. It takes the fun out of writing and turns the brain into an empty silo.
(only doing Flashpoint Fanfiction)
My goal is to finish Elysian Fields because I very much enjoy this story and the poem in which it's based (Eliot's The Wasteland). However, I cannot dedicate all of my time to it as I'm currently finishing my thesis project (see below) and taking my final course. So will there be updates? Yes. Will they be as frequent as before? Nope.
As the basic plot of Just-World Fallacy has become my thesis project, I'm developing it as an original fiction (original characters, themes, etc.) So continuing the fanfic has become a conflict of interest. Sorry. I have one more chapter finished and if someone wants it posted I will.
My Twitter (Shiggityfic)
- Updates on where I am currently in stories.
My Tumblr (Shiggityontherocks)
- Basically just a lot of stupid things I think are funny. BUT sometimes I post quotes I find inspirational, music or playlists I used to write specific chapters or characters or even early excerpts from chapters I'm working on.
If you don't like twitter and you don't want to tumble for me and you have a question or a comment please feel free to PM me.
