Why hello there! :D
For some reason or another you've stumbled upon my profile so welcome! I'm an avid fan of writing as well as video editing, so when there's time I usually have one of either on the go. If you're interested in checking out some of the vids they're under twilightsleeper on youtube :)
In real life I'm a bit of a closeted sci-fi geek... not through fear or embarrassment but mainly because my friends share very varied interests. If somebody asks I'm the first to launch into my love of wormholes, time travel, quantum physics and all things wibbly wobbly!
I will confess though I have never seen Star Wars. I tried once but after an epic debate between the two video attendants on where to start I walked out with my security blanket - Star Trek the Original series- tucked firmly under my arm.
My all time favourite movie -next to Wizard of Oz- is The Last Unicorn by Peter S Beagle. If you haven't seen/read it I highly recommend you do. He is great inspiration for writing stories.
I highly value constructive feedback and would like to thank everyone who encourages others through this means. I've grown so much through reviews to the point where I can't even read older stories now without flinching lol but as much as I would sometimes like to purge my account and start again all those mistakes have made me -and will hopefully continue to make me- somewhat of a better writer.
I would also like to offer a quick apology for the grammatical slips that crop up in my stories. My only excuse is that I usually post at 3am when my eyes are squinty and I can't see the screen any more but I'm determined to get something up regardless. Patience is not one of my greatest virtues.
I'm never quite sure how to end (and to be honest, what to even say in these things?) so I'll leave it up to the good sir, Mr Beagle.
“I always say perseverance is nine-tenths of any art — not that it's much help to be nine-tenths an artist, of course.” - The Last Unicorn.
