Author has written 24 stories for Warhammer, Company of Heroes, Metro 2033, Fallout, Rainbow Six series, Hearts of Iron, Stardew Valley, RWBY, Gate - Jietai Kare no Chi nite, Kaku Tatakeri, Frozen, Dragon Age, Overwatch, and Helluva Boss. Welcome to my profile, see what you like and learn about my current and future plans for stories and crossovers. As for how I happened upon this site, I was looking for Warhammer 40k stories and crossovers about the Death Korps of Krieg. This site did not disappoint. After that, I began to make my own fics just to see people's reactions and see if I could possibly do the same. If you want to interact with me, private message me and I will talk. I also lurk on other sites such as SpaceBattles and Sufficient Velocity, so if you see me there I'm probably having fun there. 10-07-2017 From this point on, do not ask me to create new Company of Heroes content anymore. The game's life is nearly at an end and I must find new content to post for my fellow readers since it is becoming more obscure by the month. If you want to make your own stuff, go ahead, but do not ask me to help. I no longer have the spark to continue anything related to that RTS game and hopefully, none of you will disturb me about that matter. If you guys do disturb me about making a Company of Heroes, original or crossover, I will block you, permanently. Tips for an Author Being an author in a community of fiction, I should point out a few things which are important for everyone to know. 1) Read, read, read. I can't put an emphasis on this enough, reading makes good writers and better authors. It has a sort of a passive observation which readers take in, but allow for other writers and authors to help them out in their work. It is also a good way to avoid writer's block as reading helps create ideas and stimulates the brain. Read. 2) When it comes to writing, I should suggest that you start to free write on your own. Nothing special, but something mundane or normal that you do throughout the day. Freewriting acts as a way to 'warm up' the brain when it comes to writing since it helps writers and author's to deal with this issue. Topics you could write about should be simple like food. 3) Grammar is key as well. Having good grammar means plenty and it helps you go far when it comes to writing a story. I understand this as I have seen various sights of grammar. Both were terrible or high, but the best way to get better grammar is to go to #1 reading. However, I suggest you read books and not anything about fanfiction. Reading books such as War and Peace, Count of Monte Cristo, or Sherlock Holmes. Reading fictions of higher quality helps to acquire better grammar and learns some little tidbits along the way. 4) For those who wish a hand in a plot, try to learn something from a man named Joseph Campbell and Karl Jung since they sort of have a hand in terms of writing out adventure stories. However, they do fiddle around in other stuff. 5) This is for crossovers, but never make such a fic without knowing the universes of both settings. You are setting yourself up to fail. |
