Wow... it's been almost a year since I last updated this page. Loosely is still not done but in between, I've had quite a few one-shots and one three-shot uploaded.

A few days ago, BLEACH's 686 came out and stabbed the fans in their backs. It's fine, though. Because where IR and hardcore BLEACH fans are concerned, 686 never happened. In fact, to me, the whole Thousand-Year Blood War never happened. That final arc was to BLEACH what The Hobbit was to The Lord of the Rings' Trilogy. No, not even that. It was a spoof. A parody. It didn't belong under the title 'BLEACH'. Because the two beloved protagonists were not prominently having each other's back to achieve the ultimate goal of the arc like they always did in the previous arcs. And of course, the other reason being how it was full of crap, loose ends, plot holes, and characters that were developed half-ass.

Moving on, I believe that the IR community will continue to create more exciting adventures for them in their alternate universes. And this is all that matters. 686 didn't happen, people. It was just a huge joke.

So I've managed to finally update Loosely last night. Like I said in my author's note, I had three Chapter 12s written and I couldn't decide at first which one to post as the real Chapter 12. But I did choose one. Now, I have to edit the other two as continuation to that chapter.

I've also just signed up on FictionPress... because I just found out what it was all about. Yeah, a bit slow, I know. After today, some of my original stories I have written will be available there from tomorrow onwards. The ones that I don't intend to publish as eBooks or books, that is. My pen name is the same as in FanFiction.

Back to Loosely, I almost forgot how good it feels like to have people appreciate your writing by reading it, giving their reviews, and following and favouriting both your story and your profile. I get excited every time there's an email notification from FanFiction. It's very humbling as well because it just goes to show that a writer is really nothing without their readers. Thank you all so much for taking the time to read my stories.

I know, I know, I said I would get Loosely up a month ago and it's still stuck at that last chapter. I'm really sorry. I've got a ton of excuses but I don't think I want to jam up my profile page. And it won't do to keep updating my profile right here unless I want it to turn into a book ten years from now.

My book Strictly Professional is available on both Smashwords and Amazon. The Kindle edition is only available to subscribers from certain countries but the Smashwords edition can be purchased by people all over the world.

I actually started writing an Uryuu-OC fic. Can you believe that? Yeah, it came to me when I was enjoying my cheese-baked rice one fine day. Will post that up after Loosely is done.

I'm almost done, almost done! Going to email my book to a couple of beta readers for their opinions tonight. So you'll be expecting 'Loosely' back in a few days.

I have been reading some fics during my editing. Only those that I follow, though. This morning, the 100 Bleach Drabble Challenge by xxCindaxx came in and it was about Ishida Uryuu. I couldn't help but think that if ever I were to write something with an OC (which I don't see myself doing anytime in the future because I don't like OCs) and the OC were a girl, she would be paired with Uryuu.

I don't know why. Maybe it's because I see it as a challenge. Uryuu is definitely not a character that I would ever be attracted to or even give a second glance to. He's different. The only thing I like about this character in any fic is his connection to Ichigo as his closest friend/rival. And we all know every fic needs a sensible guy like the Quincy to keep it grounded.

So yeah, maybe one I will do an Uryuu fic. Who knows?

I apologise for not updating Loosely for a while now. I've been going through my book over and over again, and I can't say I'm satisfied with all 34 chapters yet. I promise I'll get back to that fanfic real soon. I've written about a sixth of it already. Lol!

There's been quite a few new IchiRuki and Hiktsukarin fics lately. Yeah, I read them at the traffic lights and in the toilet.

Sigh... I need to get back to work.

So I completed Chapter 5 of Loosely last night and my mind has been stuck with it ever since, it's like I'm craving to write some more. I was at a bar this afternoon while I was street-shopping to prepare for a potluck dinner organised by a friend of mine at his home-stay. As I sat down for a pint of Guinness, I was surged with ideas for Chapter 6 and I just had to write them down. The only thing I could find to write on was an envelope. So that's where I jotted down my plot for this chapter. Let's hope I'll be able to get it done in a few days.

Still editing and chapter-synopsising my novel. It's proving to be real pain. Urgh! Can't wait to shove it out into the bookstores so I can get started on my second novel.

Currently listening to Third Eye Blind's Motorcycle Drive By to calm myself. I should ride one myself someday.

My Not to be used loosely keeps getting interrupted and I'm so freaking anxious to finish the chapter. Every time I open the damn document, something comes up and I have to shut my Mac. It's driving me nuts. So anyway, since I have a little bit of time right now - but not enough to get set into writing that chapter! Urgh! - I thought I'd drop a few words in my profile on something I've been thinking about lately. With regards to Bleach fan fictions, of course. (Ah, what else?)

Hisagi Shuuhei. Yes, that's what, no, who I've been thinking about. I think, of all the male characters in the anime, the amount of stories about him does not do him justice. At all. Him, being all 'super hot' as dubbed by so many Bleach fangirls (and fanboys, I'm sure). Not nearly enough mentions. Maybe it's because nobody really knows a lot about him except for his sexy facial tattoo and the fact that he plays the guitar. Maybe people think he's gay because he worships his mentor Kensei (I don't even want to go on about this guy... also another undermentioned character). So yeah, I think more stuff should written about this guy here.

I have nothing in mind yet. But if you do, please have it written. An AU would be nice since we don't know much about him. But he deserves a bigger fandom corner to himself. Yeah, him and Rangiku. Or Karin. Or Isane. Or even Rukia.

I may be an IchiRuki fan but I also find Rukia's crack pairings fascinating, i.e. HitsuRuki, ShuuRuki, GrimmRuki (my absolute favourite after IchiRuki) and even sometimes ByaRuki. But not RenRuki. That's just weird. It's like IchiTatsu. No... childhood friends. No... I can't. Renji will always be too late to express his feelings to Rukia and she will never return them. Of course, all these other pairings would not involve Ichigo, otherwise, it would be so so SO heartbreaking. Unless, of course, it happens after he's totally dead. Only then, would it be conceivable. But like I said, it would be terribly heartbreaking. And, I may be a little selfish for Rukia but I think a lot of people agree with me on this: there's no one for Ichigo but Rukia. Lol!

Alright, be sure to check in here every once in a while. And stay tuned to Loosely. (Yeah, now I'm getting irritated with myself for the title I gave that fic.) It should be out within these couple of days, though.

I'd just like to thank all of you who are following and favouriting my stories. I only have two at the moment. And like what I've told one of you, these fan fictions that I've written are my 'recess' materials from my own novels. I've just completed one adult fiction in May. I'm currently writing the chapter synopsis and preparing the query letter for the literary agents on my list. A second novel is now underway. (Is it just me or does the second book always takes off far easier than the first?)

There are times when a story idea comes to mind and I feel that my favourite Bleach characters (and pairings) fit my MCs. That's how I come up with all these fan fictiions.

A sis for a sis

I am actually a HitsuKarin shipper. But after reading a few ByaKarin fics, I realised that this could be an interesting pair as well. And the idea for a ByaKarin fic came to me before a HitsuKarin one did. Hence, this one about Byakuya finally considering giving Ichigo the green light to date his sister so he could ask Karin out. Many of you are asking me to make it a multi-chapter fic but my initial intention for it was a oneshot. I guess I might do a sequel someday when an idea comes up.

Not to be used loosely

This one came to me in a dream. (Too much Bleach FF!) I was trying to get some sleep after a tiring day when this happened. Now, I have to think of how I'm going to expand this story idea from my dream. Haha...

Lately, there's been less IchiRuki English fics. I think we all need to write more of these lest it goes into extinction. IchiRuki makes a lot of sense because it's the most natural and the strongest bond on Bleach. They are soulmates. And like I've mentioned before in one of my comments, this soulmate business between Ichigo and Rukia go way back to the pilot episode when Sode no Shirayuki went through 'the centre of [Ichigo's] being'. Hence, crashing Rukia's soul into Ichigo's, merging the two together.

So, I hope to see more IchiRuki fanfictions in English and I'm trying my best to contribute on my part. There are tons in Spanish, I know, but I can't read or speak Spanish. The Indonesians, however, write some really awesome ones in Bahasa Indonesia. I've read quite a few but there are some terms which I always have to look up as they are not the same as Malay.

Keep writing, keep reading and keep dreaming up ideas, fan fictioners!

I never thought I would ever write a fan fiction. I enjoy reading other people's work, though. All of you are amazing writers and I sincerely hope most of you have got your own stuff published as it would be a shame not to show your work in printed copies and be appreciated for it.

I'm a huge Bleach fan, definitely prefer the IchiRuki pairing as no other characters share the bond and connection they have.

Will continue to write some more fan fics whenever I have ideas nudging at me in between writing my own novels.

I love music (Incubus, Foo Fighters, Third Eye Blind, Royal Blood, Green Day, Linkin Park Alanis Morissette), food (cooking and eating _), climbing, reading, British humour and a few pints of Guinness.

I'm a pain to be friends with in person as I have absolutely no self-control over throwing sarcastic remarks. My communications skills are more pleasant in writing than verbal. That is why I'm a writer and not really a talker.
