Author has written 4 stories for JAG.
A Message To My Readers:
This is to address a review recently posted for "London Calling". An accusation of plagiarism had been made against me with regards to both "Moving On" and "London Calling". Due to this accusation, I find it necessary to suspend indefinitely any more chapters of this series while I perform a major rewrite of both stories to remove ANYTHING that could be considered remotely as the work of someone else. If I can not achieve that, I will have no choice but to remove these stories. The last thing I want is to be considered a thief and that is what plagiarism is, the stealing of another's work.
Update: December 13, 2014
It is with considerable regret that I post this update today. I have spent the last two months trying to rewrite "London Calling" and to a lesser extent "Moving On" to address the previously referenced accusation of plagiarism. I must tell you that I have not been able to do so to my satisfaction. Given that a good story is like a finely knit sweater, where the pulling of a single strand results in the work falling to pieces. This is what I have seen happen with these stories, where I have removed ANYTHING that might even appear to resemble something another author has posted has turned the resulting work into a disjointed, unrecognizable mess whose meaning and plot has been lost.
What does this mean? Sadly, it means that both stories will be removed from this site by the end of the year. As I said before, the last thing I want is to be considered a thief and the only possible solution I see now is to remove the works that give rise to that belief. To those who have enjoyed my stories, I apologize for not giving you a conclusion and thank you for all your kind words along the way. As for others, I hope you've got what you wanted. To quote Hamlet, "The rest is silence".
Update: December 24, 2014
Following several messages, I have put the two stories back up and will start working to complete "London Calling" some time soon.
