Personal type information: Born in the Pacific Northwest, currently residing in Washington State, smack dab in the middle of the apple belt. That Washington apple you enjoyed was likely picked within a 40 mile radius of my house. I'm old enough that I haven't been carded in longer than I'll admit, but I'm still just a geeky scifi-loving kid inside. I live with a very tolerant husband and a very demanding cat.

Ramblings: I've loved scifi since I was a kid. It was something my dad and I bonded over, and we watched every new show that came on, such as Buck Rogers, classic Trek reruns, and Battlestar Galactica, and also hit the theaters for the newest scifi movies.

I've always had an active imagination and can 'see' what I've written as if it were a movie playing in my head. Weird, I know, but it does help me to work out scenes and dialogue at times! I dabbled in writing during my childhood and teen years, took a creative writing course in college where I started (and abandoned) a classic Trek fic, and then real life got in the way. I watched everything I could find, both on TV and in the theaters, but I never took the time to write anything down.

I was hooked on Stargate SG-1 from the very first episode, due to the combiantion of RDA,who I've loved since MacGyver, and Egyptology, which I discovered in 5th grade. Fast forward 6 years and a spin-off comes along, full of this plucky band of misfits all stuck in another galaxy. What's not to love? And then came 38 Minutes and that adorable Czech scientist... and this quickly surpassed the original as my favorite series.

During a marathon rewatch of SGA in February of 2014 my house was invaded by several very persistent plot & scene bunnies, all of whom refuse to let me go back to real life without having written anything down. And I'm evidently not writing fast enough for them, as they keep bringing friends to the party! I hope you enjoy my humble attempts to appease them.

Czech Warning: Dr. Radek Zelenka is my favorite SGA character, and you will see a sprinkling of Czech throughout my stories that feature him. Most of it is simply denoted as being Czech by the use of italics, but there are a few Czech words that you can easily get from the context, along with a couple endearments and nicknames.
