Only way I'll write these pairings or read stories with them would be if a breakup is involved. Any non-canon pairing in Tolkien's verse- This man was one of the greatest geniuses in the world. Usually I question when canon does something stupid, but there is nothing stupid in his canon, his canon is perfect, his work is perfect, so whatever he wrote, I shall accept. So no non-canon pairings in Tolkien for me, though if some characters are single in canon, I am willing to read crossover pairings for them, mainly Legolas, but that's it. Natasha Romanoff/Bruce Banner(MCU)- I despise this pairing with every fiber of my being due to how horrible and cringeworthy it was. Worst thing the MCU has ever done outside of the Inhumans TV Series. And it ruined the chance for Bucky/Natasha or Steve/Natasha, 2 pairings that would actually have made perfect sense. So, screw this one! Cringe! Steve Rogers/Peggy Carter post TFA(MCU)- Not a fan of this pairing, and Steve going back to stay with her was the ultimate character assassination, but I can still tolerate it in TFA. But anything with this pairing post TFA is something I won't read. Clark Kent/Lana Lang(Smallville)- It was cute up until Season 2, and there were some cracks in Season 3, but Lana later became a horrible person, and Clark lost his backbone with her, and after a certain point it was obvious Clark/Lois was endgame, so they should have ended Clark/Lana and began Clark/Lois early. And I usually prefer Lana and dislike Lois in most media, comics included, but in Smallville, I adore Lois and Clois, and despise Lana and Clana completely. Barry Allen/Iris West(Arrowverse)- Like them in the comics but CW Iris is a sociopath who cares only about herself, and Barry also becomes a selfish jerk when he's with her, so this pairing can go screw it. Oliver Queen/Felicity Smoak(Arrowverse)- Felicity was great in the first 2 Seasons, minus some issues, but after getting with Oliver, she became a horrible person, and Oliver too became a spineless wimp, so again, nothing with this crap. Oliver Queen/Earth-1 Laurel Lance(Arrowverse)- Like them in comics too, pre-Rebirth, but CW version is horrible, Laurel saying to Oliver in Episode 1 she wished he'd rotted in Hell for longer than 5 years turned me off instantly, and by the time I started coming around, she was killed off. I love Oliver/Sara here, they were the perfect and most sensible couple, and were broken up in the stupidest way possible to make way for Olicity, and Sara in LoT is nothing like Sara in Arrow Season 2. Oliver Queen/Earth-2 Laurel Lance(Arrowverse)- Same as above, and post-Season 5 Earth-2 Laurel became a cartoonish, one-dimensional villain so I give zero craps about her. Sara Lance/Ava Sharpe(Arrowverse)- I just find this one really weird and stupid due to Ava being a clone, and rushed too, plus I love Oliver/Sara, so not a fan of this, especially due to Sara's character assassination, though Ava herself is a likeable character. Willow Rosenberg/Kennedy(Buffyverse)- Kennedy is a fucking arrogant bratty creep and sexual predator, and anyone who likes her or the relationship needs mental help. There! I said it! Willow/Tara is one of the best relationships in all of fiction, and Tara is one of the best characters ever created, and they are forever. Buffy Summers/Angel(Buffyverse)- I know people like this, but I don't, and I love Angel in 'Angel', he's my 2nd favorite Buffyverse character behind Willow, but in 'Buffy' he was bland, boring and one-dimensional, and behaved like a creep, but the narrative made his behavior out to be romantic. Still, I can kind of stand stories with this pairing if they're set in Buffy Seasons 1-3, but anything beyond that, nah! And even in Season 3, I'd rather read a Buffy/Faith story than a Buffy/Angel story. Plus, their character regression into lovesick puppies whenever they meet each other after breakup is eye-roll worthy. I love Angel/Cordelia and Buffy/Ensouled Spike, Buffy/Angel sucks IMO, and Sarah's and David's chemistry along with the background soundtrack are the only saving graces for this. Phoebe Halliwell/Cole Turner post Season 4(Charmed)- Never was a fan of this but until Season 4 I can stand it due to it being part of the plot, but after Season 4 it just got grating. Plus I found Cole to be a combination of Angel and Spike, only a poor version of them, they had amazing character growth, Cole was stuck in a loop, and the romance brought out the worst in both. And honestly, Alyssa and Julian have little chemistry. Cole could be an amazing character without this romance dragging him down, but this one really drags him down by a lot. Also, any pairing which turns an amazing friendship into a romance is also a complete no-no for me, I really dislike these, examples are- Frodo/Sam, Aragorn/Legolas, Legolas/Gimli, Steve/Bucky, Steve/Tony, Natasha/Clint, Clark/Chloe, Oliver/Barry, Buffy/Willow, Buffy/Xander, Willow/Xander, Angel/Faith, Arthur/Merlin, and many more. And anything with incest too, screw that. List of all the fandoms, worlds, characters and doppelgangers involved in the 'Heroes' series- So, it has been pointed out to me that because of the amount of fandoms and doppelgangers involved in my 'Heroes' series, it is getting confusing and hard to keep up for several readers, so I am going to make a list here of all the fandoms and worlds involved, the characters within them, and any names I refer them by to avoid confusion if they are doppelgangers, along with the stories in which they have appeared. Profile and info I'm a 23 year old guy who loves a lot of stuff. I love movies, TV shows, novels, comics, manga/anime, video games, heavy metal and hard rock music and of course puppies. The last two do not matter here but you never know. My most favorite fictional thing is J.R.R. Tolkien's Legendarium (books and movies both) and I am in love with it. I also love Marvel and D.C. and a lot of other stuff like Star Wars and the Buffyverse. I'm mainly obsessed with Tolkien's works and its film adaptations, the MCU films and shows (mainly anything about the Avengers and Daredevil), Smallville, Star Wars (except the Disney Trilogy) and the Buffyverse (mainly the two shows 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' and 'Angel', since the comics other than 'After the Fall' and 'Angel and Faith' didn't interest me much), to an almost unhealthy level, so most of my works will be about them, and Arrowverse too, since I liked it once upon a time but then it turned so bad that I have to write about it to fix the bullshit that went on in it. Hobbies- Basketball, Programming on Computer, Watching movies, TV series, animated shows and anime, reading novels, comic books and manga, reading and writing fanfiction, reading history, mythology And I also like Epic Rap Battles of History and Warp Zone's Recap Raps on Youtube. My favorite classical old singers and bands- Elvis Presley, Bill Withers, Simon and Garfunkel, The Beatles Now from here onwards, I will be talking about the fandoms for which I read and write most of the time, tell who are my favorite characters in them and pairings I like and dislike in them, which characters I write about most from them, and also my do's and don'ts in fanfics about them. Note- If you don't see a pairing in either the liked or disliked section, then that means I don't dislike the pairing but its not one of my favorites either. J.R.R. Tolkien's Legendarium The fantastic universe created by J.R.R. Tolkien who is one hell of a genius, its my most favorite thing ever, as are its adaptations. The world here is called Arda. All the universes based on J.R.R. Tolkien's Legendarium are included on this spot. All the books are amazing. The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings and The Silmarilion (my favorite book of all time) are masterpieces while all the other books like The Children of Hurin, Unfinished Tales and The History of Middle-Earth and stories like The Fall of Gondolin, Beren and Luthien and The Tale of Aragorn and Arwen flesh out this Universe even more. This Universe has a rich history. It has its own creation, its God who is called Eru Iluvatar, its Angels who are the Valar and Maiar, its Devil who is Melkor/Morgoth, its own heroes among Elves, Men and Dwarves and its own villains amongst the Goblins, Orcs and the Uruk-hai. The movie adaptations are awesome too. Mainly the Peter Jackson adaptations. I think as movies, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy is perfect while as adaptations, the movies are good. I imagine it as an alternate Arda. The Hobbit Trilogy are great as movies and okay as adaptations. I think there are some things that could be improved in them but I enjoy them too. The old animated movies are great too. The video games are fun. I love The Lord of the Rings Online as we delve deep into the lore in that. Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor and Middle Earth: Shadow of War mess with Tolkien lore a lot but are enjoyable as games at least. There are several other great games based on Tolkien's works. The Amazon show is utter garbage and a disgrace to Tolkien and was better off never existing. So this was my most favorite fictional universe. Favorite Characters- Books- Turin Turambar, Beren, Luthien, Feanor, Finrod Felagund, Celebrimbor, Glorfindel, Fingolfin, Hurin, Tuor, Huan, Elendil, Gil-galad, Isildur, Cirdan the Shipwright, Melkor/Morgoth, Mairon/Sauron, Olorin/Gandalf the Grey/Gandalf the White, Earendil, Elwing, Elrond, Galadriel, Celeborn, Curumo/Saruman the White, Bilbo Baggins, Thranduil, Thorin II Oakenshield, Gollum, Aragorn II Elessar, Legolas, Gimli, Boromir, Faramir, Frodo Baggins, Samwise Gamgee, Meriadoc 'Merry' Brandybuck, Peregrin 'Pippin' Took, Denethor, Theoden, Eowyn, Eomer, Arwen, Bard, Smaug Movies- Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli, Gandalf the Grey/Gandalf the White, Boromir, Faramir, Eowyn, Eomer, Theoden, Gollum, Bilbo Baggins, Thorin II Oakenshield, Balin, Elrond, Arwen, Galadriel, Saruman the White, Frodo Baggins, Samwise Gamgee, Meriadoc 'Merry' Brandybuck, Peregrin 'Pippin' Took, Bard, Thranduil, Fili, Kili, Azog the Defiler, Tauriel, Smaug Pairings or potential pairings I like a lot- Books- Well, in the books, there is no pairing that I actually dislike. But the pairings I like most are- Beren/Luthien- Such an amazing pairing. Loved them a lot. What's there to not like? Classical fairy tail pairing. Beren is ready to take out a Silmaril from Morgoth's crown to prove his love for her to her father. She loves him so much that she actually follows him and helps him in the task. And when he dies, she too dies of grief and manages to move Mandos himself to give them both a 2nd life, albeit a mortal one so that they can both live happily ever after to the end of their days. Aragorn/Arwen- Another equally amazing pairing. Arwen pledges her hand to Aragorn in marriage and renounces her Elven lineage for him and accepts death. And when he became King of the Reunited Kingdom, they married and lived happily for a long time. When he died, she too died of grief a year later. This is one of the best pairings in all of fiction. Faramir/Eowyn- It is beautifully done here, especially since both heal each other in a way. A little more of them would have been nice, but what we got was something else. Movies- Aragorn/Arwen- In the movies too, they are both amazing. Her memory is what keeps him going till the end. And even though she is about to leave Middle-Earth, let's not forget that she had hope and she only started leaving when Lord Elrond convinced her that there is no hope. And even then, she came back and the two were together in the end. Just like the book version, this is one of the best pairings in all of fiction. Faramir/Eowyn- We did not see much of them but I liked the little vibe they had in their scene in the Extended Edition of The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. Pairings or potential pairings I dislike- Books- No pairing I dislike in the books. Movies- Frodo Baggins/Samwise Gamgee- They are bros forever. How the hell can anyone make them lovers? That's an insult to the very concept of bromance. Characters I enjoy writing about most (books and movies both)- Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli, Gandalf, Boromir, Faramir, Eowyn, Bilbo Baggins, Melkor/Morgoth, Sauron My criteria for reading or writing any fanfiction for this fandom- For Tolkien's Legendarium, well, what the man created is perfection from his end, so at best I will mostly read fluff fics between characters here, mainly Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli, and that's what I'll write for this fandom too. Any stories that go too AU for this fandom aren't my thing, and no time travel or anything of the sort either. And here I don't like canon pairings messed with either, especially Aragorn/Arwen (my most favorite romance of all time), Beren/Luthien and Faramir/Eowyn. Though if there are any single characters in canon, I won't mind crossover pairings for them, mainly Legolas. Speaking of crossovers, yeah, crossovers are what I usually read for the Middle-earth fandom, where characters from another fandom get dropped during the Quest of Erebor or the War of the Ring. The best example of this kind of fanfiction is 'Avengers of the Ring' by Dr Matthattan, which is a LOTR/MCU crossover, and its one really amazing story. I have written two crossovers of this kind myself, one is 'Heroes in Middle-earth' which is a LOTR/MCU/Arrowverse crossover and 'The Hobbit: The Unexpected Companions' which is a Hobbit/Buffyverse crossover. Though these stories also should not reduce the contributions and valor of the characters in Tolkien canon. Basically, have them be helped by other fandom(s) while also showing their own quality and impressing the characters from the other fandom(s). And I do enjoy stories where a Middle-earth character ends up in another fandom and has to help out there, there's a lot of variety here too. Plus, I won't read or write any explicit smut for this fandom, even for pairings I like. Anyway, this is one fandom where I'm a lot more rigid than others but that'd due to my love for Tolkien, his works and their adaptations. Marvel Cinematic Universe First of all, rest in peace Stan 'The Man' Lee. We will all miss you a lot for how you changed the comics but more importantly, the kind of person you were. You will always be in our hearts. Comics honestly, I've given up on nowadays, not only are they hard to follow but they've also gone downhill by A LOT! Marvel Cinematic Universe, though, is a wonderful adaptation of the comics. Their movies until Avengers: Endgame are good, great or awesome, other than Captain Marvel which was mediocre, some awesome TV series on ABC, some dark and awesome(mostly) TV series on Netflix and another great one on Hulu. This universe is just like the comics. You get a comic-book vibe from this cinematic universe. My only big complaint with MCU is the Bruce/Natasha relationship but obviously they managed to write off that crap in time. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. deserves to be MCU's flagship show. All the 7 seasons were amazing and I got attached to all the characters. The ending was immensely satisfying, and FitzSimmons got the happy ending they deserved. Agent Carter was really good but they cancelled it unfortunately. Inhumans was terribly written so no hope for it. Iron Fist Season 1 was average but with Scott Buck fired, they managed to redeem it in Season 2. I still can't wrap my head around the fact that it was cancelled right when it got good. I really want The Defenders to get a Season 2 with Punisher in it. Wish that happens. But now I think it can't after the recent cancellations. Daredevil Seasons 1, 2 and 3, Jessica Jones Season 1 and The Punisher Season 1 are among the best seasons of comic book shows. It sucks that Iron Fist, Luke Cage, Daredevil, Punisher and even Jessica Jones got cancelled. But I hope Disney does renew them all sometime, though the quality will probably drop on Disney. Infinity War was an amazing and epic penultimate episode to this Universe after 10 years of its debut with Iron Man. The true conclusion was Avengers: Endgame. And it was an amazing but flawed yet still mostly satisfying end to the Infinity Saga. But after Avengers: Endgame, outside of Agents of SHIELD Season 7, the MCU has gone downhill. Both Spider-Man: Far From Home and Black Widow were bad movies IMO, and their TV shows like WandaVision, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier and Loki all have good starts but turn horrible near the end. Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings was decent but still nothing special, while 'What...If?' was just 'Meh' really. 'Hawkeye' was decent, not too bad but nothing special, and at least Kate was a fun addition to MCU. There is Spider-Man: No Way Home though which I LOVED, and it finally turned MCU Peter from Iron Boy Jr. into Spider-Man, and brought back both Tobey and Andrew, so now I consider their films canon to MCU's Multiverse, and I'll count them with MCU too. But that film seems like the last 'hurrah' for the MCU because everything after that was horrible again, and I'm done with this franchise now. Favorite Characters- Marvel Cinematic Universe- Steve Rogers, Thor Odinson, Tony Stark, Bruce Banner/Hulk, Natasha Romanoff, Bucky Barnes, Clint Barton, Sam Wilson, Wanda Maximoff, T'Challa, Stephen Strange, Scott Lang, Hope van Dyne, Peter Parker (in Spider-Man: No Way Home), Peter Parker-2, Peter Parker-3, Nick Fury, Maria Hill, Peter Quill, Rocket Raccoon, Groot, Gamora, Drax, Yondu Udonta, Nebula, Matt Murdock, Frank Castle, Elektra Natchios, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Danny Rand, Phil Coulson, Melinda May, Leo Fitz, Jemma Simmons, Bobbi Morse, Lance Hunter, Alphonso "Mack" Mackenzie, Elena "Yo-Yo" Rodriguez, Antoine Triplett, Robbie Reyes, Pepper Potts, Betty Ross, Luis, Okoye, Foggy Nelson, Karen Page, Misty Knight, Colleen Wing, David Lieberman, Curtis Hoyle, Ray Nadeem, Erik Gelden, Trish Walker, Calvin Zabo, Andrew Garner, Rosalind Price, Holden Radcliffe, Jeffrey Mace, Enoch, Deke Shaw, Thanos, Loki, Hela, Norman Osborn, Otto Octavius, Maxwell "Max" Dillon, Ultron, Erik Killmonger, Adrian Toomes, Wilson Fisk, Benjamin Poindexter, Kilgrave, Mary Walker, John Mclver, Cornell 'Cottonmouth' Stokes, Mariah Dillard, Shades Alvarez, Billy Russo, Grant Ward, Hive, Aida/Ophelia/Madame Hydra, Glenn Talbot, John Walker, Lemar Hoskins, Yelena Belova, Kate Bishop Pairings or potential pairings I like a lot- Steve Rogers/Sharon Carter(Staron)- I like the vibe they had. They are a good pairing in the comics and they have good chemistry here in the MCU. A lot of unexplored territory between these 2. I think they can make it work. Now while I didn't like how it started, with them kissing right after Peggy's funeral, I'd support it if its done better, since there's a lot of untapped potential, though their disgusting ruining of Sharon in Phase 4 and Steve's stupid ending has destroyed their chance, sadly. Steve Rogers/Natasha Romanoff(Romanogers)- While right now, they are great friends, I think they can be a thing. Their scenes in Captain America: The Winter Soldier were pretty sexy. I think they would have made a great couple. Steve Rogers/Maria Hill(CaptainHill)- There are just moments where I think Hill really has something for Cap, and I would have liked to see their dynamic explored more. Bucky Barnes/Natasha Romanoff(WinterWidow)- This would be an interesting pairing. They are already a great match in the comics. Here too, they were forced to become killers by evil organizations and are now on a path to redemption. I hope Romanoff survives Avengers 4 and the 2 actually get together as they would be a great match. Like Stand with Ward and Queen and Bl4ckHunter have said, these two are the Oliver Queen/Sara Lance of the MCU. Tony Stark/Pepper Potts- Nice pairing with a romantic comedy vibe. Of course Stark can be a pain in the ass sometimes but its still good in my opinion. And I love their daughter Morgan so much. She was adorable. And they at least got 5 years of peace together before Tony sacrificed himself to save everyone from Thanos. Matt Murdock/Elektra Natchios- Here too, poor tortured pairing. The two understand each other the most but can't be with each other due to their differing viewpoints. Elektra believes in extremes and goes to extremes while Matt has a moral compass and exercises restraint. But they have a really good dynamic and like Stand with Ward and Queen and Bl4ckHunter have said, these 2 are Oliver Queen/Sara Lance and Oliver Queen/Helena Bertinelli to the extreme. Matt Murdock/Jessica Jones- They had a fun dynamic. It would have good to see something more between them. Matt Murdock/Natasha Romanoff- I know they haven't met in the MCU but I still find the idea of their relationship in the MCU intriguing. Partly due to their romance in my own fanfiction series- "The Devil and The Arrow Trilogy." Matt Murdock/Trish Walker- He can show her the ropes for the vigilante business and prevent her from going out of line, while she can ground him a little. Matt Murdock/Claire Temple- I personally didn't find this forced, and I think they had a good dynamic together, but work best as friends. Luke Cage/Jessica Jones- It's a little weird here as Jessica killed Luke's wife under mind-control but they have a good dynamic and I enjoyed them a lot in Jessica Jones Season 1. They did end up mending their relationship a little bit in The Defenders and are now friends again. Let's see if they get together again. Luke Cage/Misty Knight- They had a good dynamic together and their interactions were nicely done, along with the one-night stand, so wouldn't have minded more of this. Luke Cage/Claire Temple- Outside of Jessica, Claire is my favorite pairing for Luke, and they were good together till Season 2 where he ended up driving her away, unfortunately. Wish we got some closure for this pairing. Scott Lang/Hope van Dyne- Nice dynamic between the 2. I mean of course he gets on her nerves sometimes but it is still fun. And the second movie totally won me over with this pairing. Bruce Banner/Betty Ross- These 2 truly care about each other and I personally think they are meant for each other. But sadly, Betty hasn't been brought back since The Incredible Hulk. Stephen Strange/Christine Palmer- Stephen did treat her like crap in the beginning but later when he learned humility, he tried to make amends and I would like to see them together again. Danny Rand/Colleen Wing- Danny was raised in K'un-L'un while Colleen was raised by The Hand. They trusted and respected each other. When he found out she worked for The Hand, he turned his back on her while she tried to convince him that they were not bad. Then they betrayed her and the 2 saved each other. I think they are a good pairing. Leo Fitz/Jemma Simmons(FitzSimmons)- Two lab geeks who have known each other for a long time and are the closest of friends. Their pairing is the heart of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Their chemistry and dynamic is so amazing. And I personally think this is the best pairing in the entire MCU and one of the best pairings in all of fiction. Lance Hunter/Bobbi Morse- This is a very good case of "You can't live with 'em. You can't live without 'em." The pairing was very nicely done and their dynamic was always fun to watch. Sure, Hunter can be a jackass at times and Bobbi was not completely honest at times but it was still awesome. Thor Odinson/Valkyire- I liked their dynamic in Thor: Ragnarok and I think they are 2 warriors with a lot of respect for each other. I would love to see them become something more. Thor Odinson/Sif- These two have known each other for a long time and care about each other as friends but can easily be something more if they want. Peter Parker/Wanda Maximoff- The youngest Avengers and both have suffered terrible losses in their lives. If Peter is a bit older, this pairing can work wonders. Steve Rogers/Natasha Romanoff/Maria Hill(CaptainBlackHill)- I like Romanogers, and there are some moments where I just feel Hill has something for Cap, and she and Natasha and get along well together too, so a well-written story with this pairing has a tick from me. Matt Murdock/Elektra Natchios/Natasha Romanoff- Matt has dated them both in the comics, and he has a great relationship with Elektra in the show, and I can see Natasha getting along well with them both too, so I like this one. Matt Murdock/Elektra Natchios/Jessica Jones- I love Matt and Elektra, and Matt and Jessica have a good dynamic too, plus I can see Elektra and Jessica getting along if Elektra is her normal self, so this one should work totally. Thor Odinson/Sif/Valkyrie- Thor has a good dynamic with them both and I can see them both getting together well too, so this one gets a tick. Pairings or potential pairings I dislike- Bruce Banner/Natasha Romanoff(Brutasha)- Totally forced and came out of nowhere. I think this pairing existed only to have some romance in the movie. This is the worst relationship in the MCU movies and they should end it quickly. They don't even have any romantic chemistry with each other. I loved Thor: Ragnarok a lot but the one scene I did not like was when video footage of Natasha is what calms Hulk down and reverts him to Banner. Avengers: Infinity War was one hell of an amazing movie but the one small part of a scene I didn't like was when we were reminded of their relationship. Honestly, they should stop forcing it down our throats and just end it quickly because it is forced, it came out of nowhere and it makes no sense. Worst thing MCU has ever done outside of the 'Inhumans' show. Wanda Maximoff/Vision- Vision didn't understand humans fully, and he didn't respect her privacy. Plus, there was a manipulative and controlling aspect to the relationship in Civil War and it was slightly present in Infinity War too, from Vision's side that is. It is probably unintentional on his part, but it doesn't endear the pairing to me. In WandaVision they were enjoyable but it was just a fantasy version of him she made up so obviously he'd be the perfect husband/boyfriend. Plus, I find the magical pregnancy crap disturbing, and the show just ruined Wanda in general. Steve Rogers/Peggy Carter(Steggy)- I do think they had a decent dynamic, but Peggy shooting at him made her less likable to me and is honestly disturbing. Even counting that out, she never gave him a clear hint. And Steve going back to her at the end of Avengers: Endgame was totally OOC of him and ruins his entire character arc in one fell swoop. I do think Peggy was a better character in her own show though, and if this was written better, I would have supported it, but as things stand, I really don't. Jessica Jones/Kilgrave- Ummm, did people forget about the time he mind-controlled her into being his sex slave and raped her for months? Some people are just sick. Grant Ward/Skye- Mainly because he is a psychopath but I don't really understand what he saw in her. Sure, she is a great, hard-working person and all but she doesn't seem like his type. Steve Rogers/Bucky Barnes(Stucky)- Same as Frodo/Sam in LOTR. Making them lovers insults the very concept of bromance. Characters I enjoy writing about most - Matt Murdock, Steve Rogers, Natasha Romanoff, Thor Odinson, Frank Castle, Jessica Jones, Bucky Barnes, Sam Wilson, Wanda Maximoff, Tony Stark, Thanos, Wilson Fisk, Benjamin "Dex" Poindexter My criteria for reading or writing any fanfiction for this fandom- Now see, I'm anti-Accords and Team Cap, so anything pro-Accords and Team Iron Man, I automatically won't read at all. If its fair to both sides but still more on Cap's side, I'm all for it, and if its Team Cap while also being unfair to Tony, I'll still read it. I do love Tony a lot but the Tony stan fics by his psycho stans have turned me off on Team Iron Man completely, so I read fics that are unfair to Tony in the Civil War issue just for balance, and they don't number much in comparison to the stupid Tony stan fics. But anyway, usually I don't read pairing centered fanfiction for MCU, other than FitzSimmons, Matt/Elektra, Bucky/Natasha and Steve/Natasha. The last two are fanfiction relationships (though Bucky/Natasha is canon in comics) but are preferable to canon pairings regarding both of them. There are other pairings I enjoy like Steve/Sharon and Thor/Sif but long stories centered around them aren't for me. But nothing with Bruce/Natasha or Steve/Peggy because those are 'EWWWW!' Especially Bruce/Natasha, urrgggh! Good Lord who had the idea for something as despicable and cringeworthy as that horror? As for watch-it fics, if they are well done, all are in-character, and its Team Cap and anti-Accords, I'm all in, I myself have one watch-it fic titled 'A Beautiful Journey' which has the characters watch all films from 'Iron Man' to 'Avengers: Endgame'. My friend Stand with Ward and Queen has another great one called 'Assemble', which I highly recommend. I enjoy time travel fix-its too if they are centered around Steve or Thor. Usually, fics that have Team Cap as family, or the Avengers in general as family (but without the Tony Stark bias), I love them, and any story with an intriguing plotline, if its not a bash fic (no bashing on Steve OR Tony in this regard), I shall take a look. Stuff centered around Steve, Natasha and Thor is my most favorite for movies, and if you add shows, then I love fics focusing on Matt, Jessica, Frank and Elektra, and also Fitz and Simmons. And, I find the 'Loki is mind-controlled' thing to be total BS done to satisfy Loki fanatics, I do think the Mind Stone removed his inhibitions but his actions were his own, because the mind control ruins his character. He had a great redemption arc and went from villain to hero in a sensible manner, being mind-controlled removes Loki's nuance and complexity. So, the moment I see any fic touting that horn, I stop taking it seriously. Plus, for AoS, nothing with Daisy/Ward, I find that stupid, and nothing Daisy-centric either because I feel the character didn't go anywhere after Season 2. For Ward, any fics redeeming him I do enjoy, but the SHIELD Team must not be demonized either, make it fair between them both and its all good. For explicit smut, I'd read it if its about pairings I like, and even harem fics, if well-written, I'll take a look, since I have written a Steve Rogers harem fic myself titled 'Cap's fun with the girls', but that'd be it. Anything post-Endgame though, probably won't take a look other than one-shots because outside of Agents of SHIELD Season 7, everything after Avengers: Endgame has been crap so far and I'm done with MCU, it ended with Avengers: Endgame and Agents of SHIELD Season 7 for me. Star Wars Another awesome universe. I love the original trilogy. The first two movies are masterpieces while the third one is amazing too. Characters like Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Princess Leia Organa, Chewbacca, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda and Darth Vader are so iconic. I love the lightsaber duels too. I think the Prequel Trilogy, while flawed, is still enjoyable overall, and the third film is really great for sure. Star Wars: The Clone Wars is a great show too, I loved all of the Seasons, and they managed to flesh out Anakin perfectly, as well as his relationship with Padmé, and also others like Obi-Wan, and of course Ahsoka Tano, and it gave him more reasons to be disillusioned with the Jedi too. While Anakin's fall in the Prequels isn't handled well, the added context from this show definitely makes it better (or worse, in-Universe that is), as it shows just how the Jedi Order failed Anakin many times. Star Wars: Clone Wars, while not as good as the 2008 show, was great as well, and it introduced General Grievous after all. Plus I liked how it showed Anakin going from Padawan to Jedi Knight. After 3x1, it can't be considered canon though due to Season 7 of the 2008 show. Though the film that is supposed to be the pilot to this show is pretty weak. Not the worst thing I've seen, but its pretty weak. Haven't seen Star Wars: Rebels yet but I've heard nice things about it. Star Wars Legends book series are a delight to read, even if I haven't read all of the books. The Disney Trilogy started out kind of okay with The Force Awakens but the next two movies were just horrifyingly bad and a complete insult to the fans and lore in general, and best to pretend it never happened. And really, Kylo Ren and Rey are such horrible characters. Rogue One was decent while Solo I didn't like much but I thought it had a few redeeming qualities. I also love Star Wars: The Force Unleashed video game series. It takes place between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope. The main character is called Galen Marek and I love him a lot. He's a badass too. I mean, he fought Vader and Sidious in quick succession and beat them both. Though that's due to the video game mechanics, the novelization explains it much better. There's also the Ultimate Sith Edition video game which shows us how the original trilogy would have gone down if Galen Marek had become evil. While I hate the Disney Trilogy, I do love The Mandalorian on their streaming service. It's a nice Space Western set in the Star Wars Universe and actually respects the lore. The characters are fun and likable too. And it gave us Baby Yoda! And Season 2 even better as it tied the show into the larger Star Was Universe and brought in characters like Boba Fett, Bo-Katan, Ahsoka Tano, R2-D2 and Luke Skywalker himself (the real one, not Jake Skywalker)! However, Season 3 managed to ruin this show as well, sadly, and its not worth it anymore. Not to mention, the other shows like The Book of Boba Fett and Obi-Wan Kenobi were very weak as well, and all of this together, alongside the announcement of more movies on Rey (like, seriously?) has made me realize that this franchise, for all of its former glory, might just be beyond saving now, which sucks. So this is what I have to say about Star Wars. Favorite Characters- Original Trilogy- Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Princess Leia Organa, Chewbacca, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda, Darth Vader, Sheev Palpatine, R2-D2, C-3PO Prequel Trilogy- Obi-Wan Kenobi, Qui-Gon Jinn, Darth Sidious, Anakin Skywalker, Yoda Star Wars: The Clone Wars- Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ahsoka Tano, Rex, Plo Koon, Asajj Ventress, Echo, Fives, Duchess Satine Kryze, Darth Maul, Padmé Amidala Star Wars: Clone Wars- Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, General Grievous Star Wars Legends- Anakin Solo, Jacen Solo/Darth Caedus, Mara Jade Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Series- Galen Marek/Starkiller, Juno Eclipse, General Rahm Kota, PROXY, Bail Organa, Darth Vader The Mandalorian- Din Djarin/The Mandalorian/Mando, Baby Yoda/The Child/Grogu, Carasynthia 'Cara' Dune, Kuiil, IG-11 Pairings or potential pairings I like a lot- Original Trilogy- Han Solo/Princess Leia Organa- I don't think I even need to explain this one. Star Wars: Legends- Luke Skywalker/Mara Jade- He helped her free herself of Palpatine's influence and she keeps him from being too naïve. Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Series- Galen Marek/Juno Eclipse- I see a mutual respect between them and of course they fell in love too. I guess these are the only pairings in Star Wars I care about. Pairings or potential pairings I dislike- Sequel Trilogy- Rey/Kylo Ren(Reylo)- Only happening because of fan service and they are both too boring for me to care about. Plus, this pairing only sends the wrong message. Just because 'bad boy redeems himself for girl' works sometimes doesn't mean it works all the time. This pairing is a shining example of that. Characters I enjoy writing about most- Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Princess Leia Organa, Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader, Galen Marek, Ahsoka Tano, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Din Djarin/The Mandalorian/Mando My criteria for reading or writing any fanfiction for this fandom- For one, nothing centered around the Disney Trilogy because that was just a disgrace in general, unless its one-shots that FIX the whole goddamn mess! But one-shots only, and especially no Reylo crap, good Lord its like Twilight in Space rather than Star Wars. Seriously, people shipping this crap might as well date a serial killer in real life. Now, usually Luke-centric stuff, since he's a hell of a hero, and anything with him having a good character arc and getting badass stuff to do, with Han, Leia, Chewie, R2-D2 and C-3PO by his side. And I love Anakin-centric stuff too, especially during the 'Clone Wars' time period, anything that shows the Jedi as the unreasonable group they really are (proven by the Ahsoka mess in the show) but without completely making Anakin look like the one in the right for joining the Dark Side, because while the Jedi's stupidity and Sidious' manipulations drove him to it, becoming a Sith is not the right solution to it. For Mandalorian, usually anything with Mando and Grogu being an adorable father/son duo I enjoy, and I don't mind reading Mando/Cara as a pairing either. For post-ROTJ, I usually read stuff that acknowledges 'Legends' over the Disney crap, though a mix of 'Legends' and whatever Disney has done OUTSIDE of the Disney Trilogy (mainly Mandalorian) works for me too. I also read Galen Marek-centric stuff since he's a favorite of mine, though I haven't read much of it but what I have read, I liked. Regarding pairings, for long stories I'd usually read Han/Leia or Luke/Mara, any other pairings, one-shots at best. Like for Tolkien, I'm not reading or writing any explicit smut for this fandom, including for pairings I like. Buffyverse Joss Whedon really knocked it out of the park with 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' and 'Angel', both of which are some of the best TV content ever. I have seen the movie too and its decently enjoyable in my opinion. Of course Joss Whedon himself is a scumbag, but these shows and their characters are still some of the best things ever made. The characters are compelling, and it shows the world in shades of grey, especially in 'Angel.' As many others have said, Buffy is a show about growing up, while Angel is a show about being a grown-up. Personally, for me, this is the best Vampire franchise ever created, and sometimes these shows get very real in how they handle stuff, so they are much more than just teenage fantasy. They both fall in the category of 'meaningful entertainment.' I have read some of the follow-up comics too. Angel: After the Fall and Angel & Faith were pretty good but hard to follow at times, while the rest were kind of weird IMO. Favorite Characters- Buffy Summers, Angel/Angelus, Spike/William, Wesley Wyndam-Pryce, Cordelia Chase, Willow Rosenberg, Tara Maclay, Faith Lehane, Rupert Giles (until BTVS Season 5), Winifred "Fred" Burkle, Charles Gunn, Lorne, Xander Harris, Allen Francis Doyle, Dawn Summers, Illyria, Anya Jenkins/Anyanka, Daniel "Oz" Osbourne, Darla, Lilah Morgan, Harmony Kendall (only in Angel Season 5) Pairings or potential pairings I like a lot- Willow Rosenberg/Tara Maclay(Tillow)- Didn't think I would like it but it eventually grew on me and became my favorite relationship in the entire Buffyverse. Tara encouraged Willow to come out, and both helped each other grow. Tara turned from a meek person to someone who could bravely stand up to Spike, Anya and even Willow herself when she pulled some terrible stunt. This is one of the best pairings in all of fiction. Only bad thing to say about it is its tragic ending, which happened because the writers were dicks, and I'm still upset after all these years. The scene where Dawn says she didn't want to leave Tara's body alone never not makes me cry. So I pretend the death never happened, Willow and Tara got married and lived happily ever after, and they hang out with Dawn, and have some kids too. That's canon! Angel/Cordelia Chase(Cangel)- This relationship was crucial to both of their character growth. They are each other's best friends, confidants and much more. Whenever Angel falters or wavers in his commitment, Cordelia pulls him back from the edge. Angel is willing to do whatever it takes, even kill, to save her. This is one of the most natural and relatable relationships in the franchise, but they had to give Cordelia a horrible plotline in Season 4 due to Joss being a bastard, and then killed Cordelia off in the 100th episode. No forgiveness for this! Justice for Cangel! Justice for Cordelia! And justice for Charisma! Angel/Darla- In spite of their Vampiric nature, they have a complicated love story spanning centuries, and I think we should have gotten a little more of it. Its that toxic relationship you're creeped out by but still want to see more of because its interesting to watch. Darla will always have a hold on Angel. Plus, their present day interactions were also rather well done, and they actually made me feel bad for Darla and root for her, when she was human, and also when she was pregnant with Connor. The relationship was always going to end in a tragic way, and I think Darla dying to give birth to Connor was the best way to end her character arc, if sad and tragic. Though with how much of an ass Connor was in Season 4, one would prefer Darla survive and get some different arc rather than giving birth to him. But Connor did redeem himself in Season 5, so not too bothered. Buffy Summers/Spike(Spuffy) (Season 7)- "Buffy shame on you. Why does a man do what he musn't? For her. To be hers. To be the kind of man who would never- to be the kind of man. And she shall look on him with forgiveness, and everybody will forgive and love. And he will be loved. So everything is okay, right? Can we rest now, Buffy? Can we rest now?" After this, I couldn't hate Spike any longer for 6x19, and in this moment, he became the man Buffy deserved. Their relationship became much healthier and mature in this Season, and Spike's speech to Buffy about how she is the One is so touching, followed by the scene where they just hold each other. If they had gotten together in this Season, with Spike having a soul, I would have liked it. Willow Rosenberg/Daniel "Oz" Osbourne- This was a well done relationship and pretty sweet in my opinion. Oz was the first person to see Willow for the kind of person she really is, and treated her with love and care. Only bad thing to say about them is the abrupt ending due to Seth Green leaving for a movie offer he had gotten. But then we got Willow/Tara, which I prefer by a huge margin, so not much of a problem. And they had the healthiest break-up out of all the couples in Buffyverse. Xander Harris/Cordelia Chase- Not my most favorite relationship, but definitely the funniest, and all of their scenes gave me a nice laugh. Plus, I have a thing for 'high school loser gets the hot, popular high school girl.' If only we hadn't gotten that terrible Xander/Willow/Oz/Cordelia love square that was written to break these two up and write Cordelia out of the show so she could be in Angel. Xander should have lost his virginity to Cordelia instead of Faith. Rupert Giles/Jenny Calendar- My favorite pairing from the earlier Seasons. These two shone in every scene they shared, and I was totally rooting for them to have a happy ending. Damn you Whedon! Xander Harris/Anya Jenkins- They had nice chemistry and were a fun couple even if it ended in a bad way due to Xander's insecurities and then Anya going back to her old vengeance demon gig, but at least they reconciled in Season 7. Though I do think they have some issues, like Xander's bigotry to Demons which I still can't believe wasn't brought up in their relationship, and him ditching her at the altar is the worst thing he's ever done, and after that I'm not sure they can work it out again. But I still have more good things to say about it than bad. Charles Gunn/Winifred "Fred" Burkle- I think it was destined be a short-term pairing anyway, but they still did it decently and made it fun while it lasted, and their break-up didn't have too much drama, fortunately. Charles Gunn/Gwen Raiden- It was just a one-night stand, and I don't think it would even last that long, but there certainly was good chemistry and attraction, plus Gunn just had some nice fun with her and could be himself around her. After his break-up with Fred, he really needed that. Wish we could have seen more of these two. Wesley Wyndam-Pryce/Winifred "Fred" Burkle- I liked these two more than Gunn/Fred, and was rooting for them since late Season 3. Then they got together and I was so happy, then Illyria happened. Why can't anyone have a happy ending around here? Wesley Wyndam-Price/Lilah Morgan- Who would have thought back in Season 1 that I'd actually like this pairing? I knew they always had hate sex and this was purely based on lust as well as loneliness, but the dark subtext of this pairing was intriguing, and it helped both the characters in my opinion. And there were clearly genuine feelings between them, proven by Wesley trying to burn Lilah's contract for 'Wolfram and Hart' which extended beyond her death. I actually prefer this to Wesley/Fred. Now don't get me wrong, I like Wesley/Fred a lot too, but Wesley/Lilah was more compelling to watch on-screen. Guess I just prefer Wesley with a bad girl. Angel/Nina Ash- Short but good in my opinion. Vampire and Werewolf done right. Angel could have a relationship with her where he was acceptably happy and had positive sex, but never perfectly happy, which makes sense since most people do settle for acceptable happiness. And she learnt to accept her Werewolf self with Angel's help. Angel/Gwen Raiden- They had good chemistry and their conversations in 4x2 had many sexual innuendos. It'd probably be a short-time thing, but still fun. Spike/Drusilla (pre BTVS Season 5)- I know, crazy Vampires and all that, but how he adored her was creepy and cute simultaneously. They were a creepy, sexy pairing, but BTVS Season 5 onwards, I don't see Drusilla being good for Spike. Buffy Summers/Faith Lehane- I normally don't support non-canon slash or femslash, but these two just give off that kind of energy in their scenes. They would also be a good balance, Buffy being the more proper and heroic one who keeps Faith in line, and Faith can be the more carefree one who convinces Buffy to let loose sometimes. Willow Rosenberg/Faith Lehane (post BTVS Season 6)- Again, normally don't support non-canon slash or femslash, but a relationship between these two post BTVS Season 6 is an intriguing idea. At that point, both can relate due to having gone to the darkness and come back to the light, and would be very good for each other. Plus, they deserve much better than Kennedy or Robin. Rupert Giles/Joyce Summers- I know, the only thing common between them is they are Buffy's and Dawn's parental figures (actual parent in Joyce's case) but after 'Band Candy', I just want more of them. Dawn Summers/Connor- I'm talking Season 5 Connor after he got his memories back. I think the two of them, with good writing, would make a nice couple, being the younger members of their groups and technically, both are miracle kids so they can relate over that as well. I think this would be a good one for sure. Pairings or potential pairings I dislike- Connor/Cordelia Chase- The thing that ruined a lot of Angel Season 4 and almost ruined Cordelia. 'You're Welcome' is what saved Cordelia's character after this mess and ended her arc on a perfect, if bittersweet note. Seriously, she used to change his diapers for God's sake, and was his surrogate mother. I know, it was Jasmine at the end of the day, but still creeped me out. Connor being unlikable in Angel Season 4 didn't help matters. After all he had been through, I did try to like him, I really did, but I just couldn't. At least he was more likable in Angel Season 5 and 'After the Fall' comics. Xander Harris/Willow Rosenberg- My least favorite storyline in the entire show. Willow was just OOC and Xander suddenly showing feelings for Willow was also forced. It was only done to break up Xander and Cordy. If they had gotten together somewhere from Season 1 to mid-Season 2, I could have bought it, but after that, nope! And before this storyline, I was open to Willow/Xander, but this completely turned me off on the two in a relationship. Buffy Summers/Xander Harris- While Xander is a good guy, he was immature with his feelings back in Season 1, proven when Buffy rejected him in a mature way. Still, as the show has proven, these two work best as friends. Faith Lehane/Xander Harris- The concept is pretty interesting, since both come from similar backgrounds and have abusive households, and Faith was even Xander's first, but Faith's rape/murder attempt of Xander has completely turned me off on it. I do think they can be friends still after Faith redeemed herself, but I don't support a relationship between them. Willow Rosenberg/Kennedy- I hate this one. Kennedy is just an arrogant brat who thinks she knows better than Buffy and Faith, and the way she hits on Willow just screams 'sexual predator' to me. And seriously, she just isn't Willow's type. Tara and Oz were both kind, caring, sensitive and empathetic people. Kennedy is just a spoilt brat who needs a reality check. This character and pairing were only created because the writers were accused of homophobia for killing off Tara, which is of course ridiculous, because why create an amazing character like Tara if you're homophobic? Anyone who thinks Kennedy or the Willow/Kennedy thing is good, I have no idea what to say to those people, other than they need help. Buffy Summers/Riley Finn- I know, his point was to be a boring boyfriend with no baggage after Angel, and I was fine with this relationship in Season 4, but Riley making Buffy's problems all about himself in Season 5 and demanding she immediately forgive him or he leaves just killed it all. At least he redeemed himself to an extent when he returned in Season 6 for one episode. Angel/Faith Lehane- I see them more as siblings who care deeply about each other than a potential couple. Plus, Angel got through to Faith not just because he understood what she was going through but also because he was a man who did not see her as a sex toy to be used and abused and then discarded, but a person who is in need of help, so a relationship between them both will ruin that aspect. Buffy Summers/Spike(Spuffy) (Season 6)- Here, the relationship was a total mess, which was the point of it. Buffy was being self-destructive, and the entire thing was based on lust. Then Spike tried to rape Buffy, and her disgust at him and his own disgust at himself is what inspired him to fight for his soul and be a better man in Season 7, where I finally liked this pairing. Wesley Wyndam-Pryce/Cordelia Chase- I could get why Cordelia has such a crush but it felt forced from Wesley's side. At least him drooling all over her face made them realize they don't have any basis for a relationship and lack chemistry, and then 'Angel' proved they are amazing as friends. Spike/Drusilla (BTVS Season 5 onwards)- At this point, Spike was trying to be better, and she was just dragging him down again, so now, she was just bad for him. Spike/Harmony Kendall- She was nothing more than a rebound after Drusilla, and he treated her like trash at first and then used her to play out his fantasies with Buffy. Plus, she was just annoying and self-centered. This lady was soulless even before she became a Vampire, LOL! Lindsey McDonald/Darla- Lindsey and Angel had an intriguing rivalry and dynamic without adding Darla to the mix, so this one just felt forced to me. Faith Lehane/Robin Wood- Their attraction and interactions were well done, but Robin jumped on Faith from Buffy too fast, to the point I think the guy has an unhealthy obsession with Slayers due to his mom being one. And he really wasn't that well developed as a character. Rupert Giles/Any Scooby not Jenny- Giles is pretty much a father figure to the whole gang, just like how Joyce was also a mother figure to the whole gang outside of Buffy and Dawn, to whom she was an actual mom (which is why I ship Giles and Joyce) so I honestly find him being shipped with Buffy or Willow disgusting. It's basically shipping a father in all but name with his kids in all but name. Angel/Spike- I know its implied they had a sexual encounter some time in the past, but I just don't like it. And after getting their souls back, I think they have a brotherly love for each other deep down, not that either of them is gonna admit it. Buffy Summers/Angel(Bangel) (Mixed opinion)- Best thing about these two is the chemistry between Sarah Michelle Gellar and David Boreanaz and 'Close Your Eyes.' I could get what they were going for, and I think there are quite a few genuinely cute and sweet moments between them, but the way it was done overall made Angel come off as a creepy stalker and Buffy as a lovesick teenager. And whenever Buffy and Angel met again after their break-up, Angel's character regressed to the broody, lovesick puppy he was in Buffy Season 3. I can support it if it was written better, but as things stand, not a huge fan. Having said that, Buffy Season 2 and Angel 1x8 did manage to portray them as a tragic love story where you feel bad for both of them. Characters I enjoy writing about most- Willow Rosenberg, Angel, Tara Maclay, Faith Lehane, Dawn Summers, Spike, Cordelia Chase, Wesley Wyndam-Pryce, Buffy Summers My criteria for reading or writing any fanfiction for this fandom- First of all, nothing with Buffy/Angel because I despise that pairing, I find it one of the most overrated pairings of all time. Still, I can kind of stand fics with Buffy/Angel if they're set during Seasons 1-3 of Buffy, but only if the relationship is a background thing and not the main focus, but if there's a fic with this pairing outside of Buffy Seasons 1-3, I won't read it. Also, nothing with bashing, unless the bashing is aimed at Kennedy, Andrew, Riley or Robin, since these four I really dislike, especially Kennedy and Andrew. I also don't like Kate, Connor in Angel Season 4 and Giles-post Season 5 but in their cases I'm fine with them getting reality checks or facing consequences for their actions. Willow is my favorite and I don't excuse all her actions, because she did some pretty messed up stuff, but I also don't like fics bashing her over it, since she shows genuine remorse and a desire to be better, and is a complex character who needs careful handling, of course what she did to Tara shouldn't be downplayed, but you get me. Like seriously, I refrained from dropping a kudos on AO3 on the hottest (and in-character) Spike/Buffy smut fic I've read in my whole life because of some Willow bashing at the end. Tara-centric stuff which has more of her beyond her relationship with Willow is also a joy to read. Also, while I usually respect opinions, any Tara/Tillow haters and Kennedy/Willedy supporters, their opinions I don't respect and put them in the same category as flat-Earthers because they're all equally stupid. There, I said it. Funnily enough, I don't read fics centered around Buffy herself that much, rather fics centered around Willow, Tara, Angel, Dawn, Faith, Spike, Cordelia and Wesley. Regarding Dawn, I love her, never got the hate for her, I find her a better and more heroic character than Buffy tbh, so stuff centered around is my thing too, especially since out of all characters in this fandom, I relate to her most. For pairings, I usually read long stories centered around Willow/Tara, Angel/Cordelia, Wesley/Lilah and Giles/Jenny. Of course in Wesley/Lilah fics, there should be no Team Angel bashing. As much as I love Buffy/Ensouled Spike, I don't read long stories centered around them, just one-shots or long-shots, but there should be no Angel bashing, because while I dislike Buffy/Angel, Angel is a great character without that stupid relationship to hold him back. For Buffy/Soulless Spike, I didn't like them, since that was toxic and disturbing even before 'Seeing Red', and I think I have read one fic max where they managed to work as a couple in a sensible way, and only barely, since there Buffy came to normal earlier than canon and decided she does love Spike in spite of him lacking a soul, and there should be ground rules between them, which he accepted. And fanfiction pairings, I usually read long stories about Willow/Faith (post-Season 6) and Giles/Joyce. I love Buffy/Faith too but long stories with them don't interest me, mostly one-shots or long shots set during either Season 3 or post-Series or AU where Faith gets released during early Season 6 at the same time Buffy is resurrected. Willow/Oz I like it a lot, but any story with this pairing beyond Buffy Season 3 I won't read, because while I like Oz and Willow/Oz, I'm in love with Tara and Willow/Tara, and from that point forth I can't stand Willow with anyone else, call me crazy shipper, I don't care. And fics where the ending of 'Seeing Red' is removed are even better, I consider them canon. Nothing with Willow/Kennedy because FUCK KENNEDY! There's a lot of Xander-centric stuff on fanfiction too but while I like him a lot, he doesn't interest me that much, and most fics centered around him make him special, when what's special about him is that he's normal, so making him special takes that away. Crossovers too I love, especially if they're set in Buffy Season 6, undoing all the crap that went down in that Season. Regarding explicit smut, I'd read it if its any pairing, canon or fanon, that I like, and I have written some too for Willow/Tara, Angel/Cordelia, Buffy/Ensouled Spike, Buffy/Faith and Willow/Faith but not posted them yet. Smallville Like with Marvel, in DC's case too, I'm done with comics due to being too hard to follow and also because they've gone downhill, and the Batman wanking doesn't help ONE BIT. Smallville was an awesome show for sure though. I loved Tom Welling as Superman. I also liked how they introduced various characters from DC mythos later, especially Green Arrow and Bart Allen. It was awesome. But the Seasons 6 and 7 and to an extent, 8 went downhill due to being too soap-opery. And the imagination of the writers exceeded the show's budget, which is not a good thing for the show. The thing with Lana went on too long for my liking, when you take into consideration she became a horrible and manipulative shrew after Season 3, so they should have ended that early and started Clark/Lois instead. Still, I believe that the show overall had a satisfying ending, and I loved Seasons 9 and 10. If only Welling wore the suit. Still, it was a very good show and a great retelling of Superman's origins and is much better than the garbage shows DC has nowadays. The Season 11 comics that continued it were a nice read too, and totally felt like Smallville on a much larger scale. Favorite characters- Clark Kent, Oliver Queen, Lex Luthor, Lionel Luthor, Lois Lane, Chloe Sullivan, Tess Mercer, Kara Kent, Carter Hall, Courtney Whitmore, John Jones, Jonathan Kent, Martha Kent, Brainiac/Brainiac 5, Zod, Bart Allen Pairings or potential pairings I like a lot- Clark Kent/Lois Lane(Clois)- The best pairing in Smallville. A great connection and he was open with her. Clana was drawn out for too long till Clark's character was butchered. This romance should have started right in Season 6. Their banter was nothing more than foreplay and denial, and they deserved to get together long before Season 9. Clark Kent/Alicia Baker- She had issues in the beginning but she genuinely wanted to redeem herself in Season 4 and her death was tragic, with the entire town condemning her. Clark and Alicia did love each other and felt they could be themselves around each other due to their powers. Still hate how the show glossed over her death and Clark's grief in one episode and had him say that he never loved her. Clark Kent/Tess Mercer- If her moral values were like Clark's or if Clark was more morally ambiguous, the two would make a good pair and while he is cautious of her and she has questionable methods, the two can be good together under different circumstances. Clark Kent/Kyla Willowbrook- The two could relate due to their shared secrets, and Kyla was very accepting of him and wanting to share in his destiny. Her death was saddening and tragic, and Clark then continued to protect the caves after she was gone as a way to honor her, and he gave her bracelet to Lois, with whom he was destined to be with, which was a nice use for it too IMO. Oliver Queen/Tess Mercer- Oliver cheated on her when he was less mature but now he's better and if they weren't on opposite sides and if there was no Chloe, then the two could try to make it work. Oliver Queen/Dinah Lance- Dinah is this show is much more comic accurate and I liked her interactions with Oliver so if they're done properly, I'd support it. Oliver Queen/Chloe Sullivan(ChlOllie)- They had good chemistry and a good connection. Both were very likable too. They also had a good level of trust between them, weren't afraid to call each other out on their crap, and even when they were at odds, they had each other's backs. These 2 are a great pairing and are what Olicity in 'Arrow' aspired to be but failed miserably. Pairings or potential pairings I dislike- Clark Kent/Lana Lang(Clana)- It used to be cute but it was drawn out to an absurd degree by Season 8 and Lana became a horrible person later. She constantly hurt Clark and put those he cared about in danger. They should have ended this pairing with Season 3 when Lana went to Paris and then done Clark/Alicia for 2 Seasons while making Alicia a recurring character before finally doing Clark/Lois. Clark Kent/Chloe Sullivan(Chlark)- Best friends who could have become something more. I could have supported a relationship between them in Seasons 1-2, since they did have great chemistry and connection. Having said that, I still prefer them as friends, as they worked best that way, and them even being briefly in a relationship would affect the friendship. Oliver Queen/Lois Lane- I think they were both cute together, but Lois being on a one-woman crusade against Green Arrow ruined it for me. Lex Luthor/Lana Lang(Lexana)- Good concept but the execution was not good, and the love triangle with Clark made me roll my eyes, and it was honestly infuriating that this pairing was used to further the Clark/Lex rivalry. Plus, while I don't like Lana, even she doesn't deserve what Lex did to her. Chloe Sullivan/Davis Bloome- I was enjoying this new and fresh take on Doomsday's character until this love triangle happened, and it completely ruined him, and it also resulted in some painful assassination of Chloe's character, though she was good again in Seasons 9 and 10. At this point, we've had some really weird love triangles already- Clark/Chloe/Lana, Clark/Lana/Lex, Clark/Lana/Bizarro (IKR?), Clark/Lana/Lois (we didn't get much of it but it was there), so another one after all of them was just terrible. Davis killing Jimmy and almost killing Chloe was the final nail in the coffin. I think I handled Davis' character and descent to darkness much better in my 'Thunder and Steel: The Masters of Evil.' Chloe Sullivan/Jimmy Olsen (Mixed opinion)- Now I do think they were cute together, and fit each other well, but Jimmy being annoyed by all of Chloe's secrets and just being jealous of Clark for no good reason at all got old way too quick, and so he ended up coming off as a male Lana Lang at times. I do like him, and think he is good to both Clark and Chloe as a friend, but as boyfriend material, he needs work. But he still deserved much better than to be killed off and then the reveal that his younger brother is the actual Jimmy Olsen from the comics. Characters I enjoy writing about most- Clark Kent, Oliver Queen, Lex Luthor, Lois Lane, Chloe Sullivan, Lionel Luthor My criteria for reading or writing any fanfiction for this fandom- So, obviously, nothing with Clark/Lana because that pairing just sucks in general, and so does Lana after Season 3, so she should either be called out or just be thrown into the background, that's it. Stuff with Clark going dark after 'Pariah' is especially interesting for me, a great example being 'A dark turn' by Stand with Ward and Queen, since the way they swept Alicia's death under the rug was off-putting really. Anything with Clark becoming Superman earlier than canon (but not too early, like not in the first 5 Seasons) in a sensible way, along with Justice League coming around, I like it. Lex I love him a lot, this is my favorite adaptation of Lex, but any story portraying him as in the right I really can't stand. As enjoyable and complex he is, he was always on the path to darkness right from the pilot, so I can't stand his apologists one bit. Regarding Lionel, he's quite complex himself and his redemption arc actually made a lot of sense, but they faltered a little at the finish line before Lionel's death, so anything fixing the mistakes with his redemption to make it a perfect redemption arc is awesome, like 'United we stand' by Chunk127 which is also a Buffyverse crossover. I also enjoy crossovers with other fandoms here, mainly MCU, Buffyverse and Arrowverse, especially when you consider that Smallville is the most powerful verse out of these, so seeing this version of Clark helping out the other franchises in compelling scenarios, its a great read. Plus, Smallville Clark is the most powerful version of Superman outside comics, that's a fact, so any nerfing without a sensible explanation is an immediate turn-off. Now, for pairings, already said nothing with Clark/Lana, and for long stories I'd usually read stuff centered around Clark/Lois or Clark/Tess, though any story where Clark is paired with someone not Lois should not have Lois bashing in it, or its not worth reading from me. Lois in comics and most media I find a shrew, and Clark/Lois too I find toxic in most media, but in Smallville, Lois is amazing, and Clark/Lois is amazing as well. Clark/Chloe I prefer as friends though if I do read stories pairing them, it'd be one-shots at best, and without any Lois bashing. For Clark/Tess too, it can only work if Clark is darker or Tess has better morals, so build-up to stuff like that must be done carefully as well. There are other pairings I enjoy like Oliver/Chloe but I'd read one-shots centered around them at best. For explicit smut, I can read it if its about pairings I enjoy, and even Clark harem fics, if well-written, I don't mind. I have written explicit smut with Clark/Lois but not posted it yet. Compilation of Final Fantasy VII Now I've played a lot of the FF games, from I to X, as well as XIII and XV, and most of them were great. But VII and its spin-offs have a special place in my heart that the other ones don't. Don't get me wrong, the others are mostly great (who can forget Kefka Palazzo?) but I just have a special place for the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII in my heart. The original game is just legendary, I love everything about it, from plot to characters to lore. Then we get the spin-offs that expand the world of VII. While the Compilation overall has received mixed reviews compared to the original, I think most of its great. Before Crisis is a good look at the Turks and how they operated, then you got Advent Children (as well as Advent Children Complete, the better version), which I think was a great sequel to the game, even if some things could have been done better. You got to admit, the action was perfection though. Dirge of Cerberus had a good plot but gameplay could have been better. Crisis Core is my personal favorite, I love that game, its one of the few games to make me cry too, plus it cemented Zack as my favorite in this franchise (don't worry Cloud, I love you too). The Remake was amazing IMO, while many have doubts about what's going on, I love it and find it exciting, especially how things are now changing due to the Whispers and all that, plus Zack's alive! And Sephiroth IMO is not just the best Final Fantasy villain (love Kefka too but I prefer Sephiroth) but the best video game villain of all time, and in my overall list of best villains of all time he comes 4th behind Morgoth (Tolkien), Sauron (Tolkien) and Darth Vader (Star Wars). Favorite characters- Sephiroth, Zack Fair, Cloud Strife, Vincent Valentine, Tifa Lockhart, Aerith Gainsborough, Barret Wallace, Yuffie Kisaragi, Red XIII/Nanaki, Reno, Rude, Tseng, Cissnei, Rufus Shinra, Angeal Hewley, Genesis Rhapsodos Pairings or potential pairings I like a lot- Cloud Strife/Tifa Lockhart- This one has always been a personal favorite of mine, their connection is just amazing, plus in Advent Children the two of them and Denzel are pretty much a family, so what's not to like here? Zack Fair/Aerith Gainsborough- Crisis Core made me fall head over heels for these two, their love was a true one IMO, and since the Remake is expanding on Zack's role, I hope we can see them reunite again, if not continue their romance. Would love to see it continued though. As things stand, both of their deaths are heartbreaking. Cloud Strife/Aerith Gainsborough- While I prefer Cloud/Tifa and Zack/Aerith, I do like Cloud/Aerith too, they also had a great connection. Plus their chemistry in the Remake was pretty much off the charts. Zack Fair/Cissnei- They had good chemistry in Crisis Core. If Zack and Aerith weren't a thing, I could totally see this relationship happening. Cloud Strife/Tifa Lockhart/Aerith Gainsborough- If Aerith survives, I can see the three of them in a 3-way relationship work personally, won't be too far out of the realm of possibility I say. Pairings or potential pairings I dislike- Reno/Tifa Lockhart- I see this pairing a lot in fanfiction but frankly, doesn't make much sense to me. I can imagine Cloud and Tifa forgiving Reno for the Sector 7 mess, but doubt she'd want to romance him. Sephiroth/Cloud Strife- Seriously? Characters I enjoy writing about most- Sephiroth, Zack Fair, Cloud Strife, Vincent Valentine, Tifa Lockhart, Aerith Gainsborough, Reno, Rude My criteria for reading or writing any fanfiction for this fandom- Anything focusing on Zack, Cloud, Sephiroth, Aerith, Tifa or Reno is my thing here. Though with Reno, its usually Kingdom Hearts crossovers that also involve Lea/Axel. For pairings, outside of the ones in my disliked section, I'd be open to reading most pairings in this fandom. Crossovers are great too, especially with live-action stuff like MCU, Buffyverse or Smallville. For smut, anything with Cloud/Tifa, Zack/Aerith, Cloud/Aerith or Cloud/Tifa/Aerith. The Chronicles of Narnia I'd seen the movies when I was younger, and enjoyed the first two, but I recently read the books, and those are just amazing. While they are written as children's books, they can be enjoyed by all age groups, and there is a lot of nuance to them. The Christian allegory is actually quite enjoyable and compelling too, and I say this as a non-Christian. The first few books focus more on the wonder and intrigue that entering a land like Narnia via unconventional means causes within the children, and then there's the last book, which is really dark, but I still think its mostly fitting ending to the franchise. There is what happened to Susan, but that doesn't make Lewis sexist like I've seen people claim. Maybe she'll just find her way to Narnia in a different way is all. And I've nothing to say regarding pairings here so that section is skipped. Favorite Characters- Books- Susan Pevensie, Peter Pevensie, Lucy Pevensie, Edmund Pevensie, Aslan, King Caspian X, Mr. Tumnus, Eustace Scrubb, Jill Pole, Puddleglum, Trumpkin, Reepicheep, Professor Digory Kirke, Polly Plummer, Shasta/Cor of Archenland, King Tirian Movies- Susan Pevensie, Peter Pevensie, Lucy Pevensie, Edmund Pevensie, Aslan, Caspian X, Mr. Tumnus Characters I enjoy writing about most (books and movies both)- Susan Pevensie, Peter Pevensie, Lucy Pevensie, Edmund Pevensie, Aslan My criteria for reading or writing any fanfiction for this fandom- The usual stuff I enjoy is about Susan post-The Last Battle, as I find that idea quite compelling, about what becomes of her, and how she finds her way back to Narnia. And I also enjoy crossovers where the children end up in other fantasy worlds, though its preferable if it takes place after the first book/movie so the children have their Narnia experience as well. But either way, as long as its well-written, its fine. The Witcher Now I know most people got into this franchise due to the video games, or the Netflix series. I've played bits of the games, and enjoyed them, but never played the full stuff. Then I saw the Netflix series and the first Season, while messy, was still decent. But I couldn't get through Season 2. Henry Cavill as Geralt was the only good part about it. Recently, I read all the books, and they were amazing. And due to never having have properly played the games or gotten through Season 2, the big reveal at the end of 'The Lady of the Lake' was never spoilt for me, which was nice. I think this is a great fantasy world, and has a good blend of the normal fantasy stuff like long quests, monsters and magic, as well as dirty and cutthroat politics that ASOIAF is known for. The final book 'Season of Storms' didn't do much for me, but it was still an interesting book, though the first seven are amazing. And the character work is magnificent. There are so many moments that make me laugh and cry in this series. Its just so great. I plan to play all the games soon too, and I know I'll love them. Favorite Characters- Books- Geralt of Rivia, Yennefer of Vengerberg, Ciri, Emiel Regis Rohellec Terzieff-Godefroy, Dandelion, Cahir Mawr Dyffryn aep Ceallach, Milva/Maria Barring, Calanthe, King Foltest Pairings or potential pairings I like a lot- Books- Geralt of Rivia/Yennefer of Vengerberg- While they are toxic, the love story they have is still epic and intriguing to read about, and Ciri brings out the best in both of her 'parents'. By the end, I feel they've learnt from their mistakes and can work towards being a healthier couple. Pairings or potential pairings I dislike- None so far. Characters I enjoy writing about most- Geralt of Rivia, Yennefer of Vengerberg, Ciri, Emiel Regis Rohellec Terzieff-Godefroy, Dandelion My criteria for reading or writing any fanfiction for this fandom- I've only recently gotten into this fandom so it will take a while to find what I really like here, but I feel stuff with Geralt's adventures and adding to those would be fun. And also crossovers, as long as they're well-written. Those are always fun to read about. But anyways, for this I've to get a proper feel of the fandom first before diving into it. A Song of Ice and Fire/Game of Thrones/House of the Dragon The books and the TV series are both on this spot. The great land of Westeros created by George R.R. Martin. He's a great author. He is cruel too. All the unexpected deaths and all that. Excited for the new book. Sounds awesome to me. The TV series was pretty awesome but it started going downhill Season 5 onwards and the last two Seasons were abominations of the highest order. I love a lot of characters here, mainly- Ned Stark, Tyrion Lannister, LittleFinger, Arya Stark, Sandor Clegane, Jaime Lannister and Bronn. It's pretty realistic for fantasy but that's the point. Also love how each chapter is from a character's POV. I did see the 'House of the Dragon' spin-off, and while I liked it before, I realized I was blinded by the fact that the show returned to the political intrigue that made the first 4 Seasons of 'Game of Thrones' so good, but in truth, it is a very flawed show. I found out more about the books from my friends, and turns out the show is going out of its way to whitewash Rhaenyra at the expense of other characters, and that's just stupid. So all in all, it is a biased show, and because of that realization, my liking for it has gone down by a lot. This is what I had to say about A Song of Ice and Fire books and Game of Thrones TV series, as well as House of the Dragon. Favorite Characters- Books- Ned Stark, Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryen, Stannis Baratheon, Petyr 'Littlefinger' Baelish, Varys, Olenna Tyrell, Oberyn Martell, Sandor Clegane, Robb Stark, Tyrion Lannister, Tywin Lannister, Samwell Tarly, Jaime Lannister, Arya Stark, Cersei Lannister, Ghost, Summer, Grey Wind Shows- Ned Stark, Oberyn Martell, Sandor Clegane, Tyrion Lannister, Jorah Mormont, Jaime Lannister, Tywin Lannister, Bronn, Petyr 'Littlefinger' Baelish, Varys, Olenna Tyrell, Margaery Tyrell, Theon Greyjoy, Arya Stark, Jon Snow, Davos Seaworth, Beric Dondarrion, Cersei Lannister, Samwell Tarly, Eddison Tollett, Grenn, Pypar, Tormund, Ygritte, Podrick Payne, Brienne of Tarth, Ros, Ghost Pairings or potential pairings I like a lot- Books- Ned Stark/Catelyn Stark- They are a married couple that works perfectly and they support each other. Jon Snow/Ygritte- These two were great and I wish we could have more of them. But unfortunately, they were on the opposite sides of the conflict. Show- Ned Stark/Catelyn Stark- Same as books. Jon Snow/Ygritte- Same as books and the fact that the actors are in an actual relationship makes the chemistry even better. Jaime Lannister/Brienne of Tarth- I see some chemistry between them and I could see it becoming something more. Arya Stark/Gendry- This was so sweet. They both deserve some happiness. Pairings or potential pairings I dislike- Books- Jaime Lannister/Cersei Lannister- Incestuous relationship and I don't support incest. Show- Jaime Lannister/Cersei Lannister- Same as books. Jon Snow/Daenerys Targaryen- Also incest so I don't like it. Plus, it was forced even without the incest part, and Jon just looked frustrated whenever they were on-screen together. Characters I enjoy writing about most (books and show both)- Jon Snow, Tyrion Lannister, Ned Stark, Jamie Lannister, Cersei Lannister My criteria for reading or writing any fanfiction for this fandom- Anything with Ned surviving in a sensible manner and changing stuff from there, that's a delight for me, since that changes things by A LOT! For characters, I usually read fics centered around Jon Snow or Tyrion Lannister, these two are amazing in various ways, and also Jamie and Cersei since they are really complex and getting into their heads is a feat in itself. Regarding pairings, not really interested in reading pairing-centered stuff for this fandom, but anything that glorifies the canonical incestuous relationships, I won't read that stuff AT ALL! Fics with Robb surviving sensibly are fun for me too, and some time-travel fix-its, especially considering how horrible the show became in the later Seasons. Explicit smut, canon has a lot of it, why would I need fanfiction for smut in this fandom? Death Note This is just amazing. The manga is extraordinary and so is the anime. Light Yagami and L have to be two of the most interesting and complex characters in existence. And its just so unpredictable. A lot of brains are needed to watch this masterpiece. The two anime movies are amazing too. The Japanese movies based on this are average while the Japanese show was below average. The Netflix movie doesn't exist for me. Forget I mentioned it. Favorite Characters- Light Yagami, L, Mello, Near, Soichiro Yagami, Ryuk, Kiyomi Takada Pairings or potential pairings I like a lot- Light Yagami/Kiyomi Takada- This can actually be a good pairing in this series. If Light was not a sociopath, then these two are perfect for each other. Obviously Light is a manipulator and all that, but if he wasn't, this could work. Pairings or potential pairings I dislike- Light Yagami/Misa Amane- He just used her for his mission of a new world. He didn't really give a shit about her or her feelings. Plus, even if he wasn't a horrible person, she isn't the one for him. Light Yagami/L- Seriously? Characters I enjoy writing about most- Light Yagami, L, Mello, Near My criteria for reading or writing any fanfiction for this fandom- Anything centered around Light, L, Mello or Near, since all four are quite complex characters, the former two A LOT more though, but all four are. While I see both sides, I will take L's side any day over Light's because while I get what Light wants to do, he is a psychopath playing God at day's end, and while L too doesn't have idealistic goals in mind, stopping Kira is the right thing in my honest opinion. Fics with L surviving sensibly are a great read due to the AU stuff they do, and even if I'm not on Light's side, stories where he wins I do enjoy, since getting into his head and seeing his vision come to fruition is interesting too. Nothing pairing-centered here, just character-centered stuff. Devil May Cry This is one of the best video game series I have ever played. Dante is one of the most badass video game characters ever. As Insieme per la vittoria has described him in the summary of The Webslinger and the Devil Hunter- as strong and fast as Thor, as heavily armed as Deadpool, as unkillable as Wolverine, and as abrasive and rude as Tony Stark. Yup, that's him. The world is awesome too. The demons like Mundus and Argosax are really interesting and I enjoy the dynamic between Dante and Vergil. Other characters like Nero, Trish and Lady are also pretty interesting. That reboot was horrible but the new game which will continue the original series looks awesome. I also enjoy the anime. Favorite Characters- Dante, Vergil, Nero, Trish, Lady, Patty Lowell, Mundus Pairings or potential pairings I like a lot- Dante/Lady- I think they have a funny, sexy dynamic and would be good together, even if Dante owes Lady a lot of money. Pairings or potential pairings I dislike- None really. Characters I enjoy writing about most- Dante, Vergil, Trish, Lady, Nero My criteria for reading or writing any fanfiction for this fandom- Anything centered around Dante or Vergil, I'd read immediately, with a great plotline and a lot of action too of course, but you get my point. But the most fun stuff here for me is actually crossovers, where Dante (or Vergil) go into other weaker fandoms (weaker in terms of powers) like MCU, Buffyverse or Arrowverse, and fix the problems in there, all the while calling out bullshit in Vergil's case or making insulting quips in Dante's case. Regarding pairings, Dante/Lady one-shots at best, including any explicit smut. Leverage/Leverage: Redemption I found out about this show via the YouTube channel 'Overly Sarcastic Productions' in a video they made about the 'Powerhouse Character' Trope, and they spoke about Eliot Spencer and how he does not suffer from the Worf Effect. I also noticed he was played by Christian Kane, who played Lindsey McDonald in 'Angel', and all of that, alongside the premise, got me into watching this show. The concept is cool, the characters are all very compelling with good growth, and most of the episodes are able to do unique cons that are different from other ones. My favorite thing about this show is that it can utilize all of its main cast to their fullest potential. A lot of shows either underutilize or just waste certain members of the main cast. But not this show. I wasn't sure about the revival at first due to them not bringing Timothy Hutton as Nate back, but Harry Wilson, while a replacement, was a very different kind of character with a different role, and he brought a different dynamic to the team. While I don't like him as much as Nate, he is still great. Breanna is a good addition too. While the original team is always going to be my favorite, I think the new one is good enough as well. Favorite Characters- Eliot Spencer, Parker, Alec Hardison, Nathan Ford, Sophie Devereaux, Harry Wilson, Breanna Casey, Maggie Collins, Jack Hurley, Jim Sterling, Tara Cole, Billy Spencer Pairings or potential pairings I like a lot- Nathan Ford/Sophie Devereaux- Personally, my favorite pairing in the franchise. Both of them had a great dynamic, and Sophie could clearly keep Nate's worst impulses in check, with both helping each other be better people. Their ending in the original show was well-earned. Parker/Alec Hardison- Like Nate and Sophie, they have a very nice dynamic, not to mention their scenes are just fun, plus their interactions even before they get together are a treat to watch. Eliot Spencer/Mikel Dayan- Mikel only appeared in one episode, and she fought Eliot, the fight ending with them making out. And that was enough for me to ship them. Pretty much no one else is compatible with Eliot in my opinion. I've nothing against Eliot's other relationships, but Mikel is the one I wish was explored more. Sophie Devereaux/Harry Wilson- I'm not a fan of them not bringing Timothy Hutton as Nate back, and I never thought I'd ship Sophie with anyone again. But, as time passed, her and Harry truly did win me over. While Nate/Sophie is still my favorite, I feel the writers are doing a good job with the dynamic between these two, and how they connect, plus the way Sophie calls him 'our Mr. Wilson'. Not to mention, enough time has passed since Nate's unfortunate passing, so after all this time, if they do try a pairing between these two, I'd support it personally. Pairings or potential pairings I dislike- None come to mind. Characters I enjoy writing about most- Eliot Spencer, Parker, Alec Hardison, Nathan Ford, Sophie Devereaux My criteria for reading or writing any fanfiction for this fandom- Anything with fluffy moments between the team. The show gave us a lot of those, but more of them don't hurt. And if any story can make a creative, cool con, all the better. And since I said Christian Kane as Eliot was my biggest reason to start watching this, crossovers with 'Angel' where we see a connection between Eliot and Lindsey are always welcome. For pairings, anything with Nate/Sophie, Parker/Hardison and Eliot/Mikel works for me. Teen Wolf While it is not a flawless show, its great, and it really took me by surprise just how great this show really was. Season 1 wasn't the best, it was messy, though the Scott/Stiles friendship, and Derek, were the best parts, and kept me interested enough to watch. But Season 2 is where it really gets going, and that Season is great. Season 3 is near-perfect, I'd even go as far as to say its one of the best Seasons on all of TV. Season 4 sucked though. It'd a good start, but it became a convoluted mess. Only the Scott/Liam plotline and the Derek plotline were the good parts. The show regained steam in Season 5 though, and Season 6 is great as well. Plus I enjoyed the ending, including that final scene of Scott's pack walking away under the light of a full moon. I haven't seen the old film on which this show is based, though I heard its more of a comedy film, unlike the show, which is dark in tone. This show also did a lot more for Werewolf lore than anything else I've ever seen, as its usually Vampires who get all the focus, so that's another reason I appreciate this show. And, Coach is the best! Also, there is no sequel film to this TV series. None at all! Favorite Characters- Scott McCall, Mieczysław 'Stiles' Stilinski, Derek Hale, Lydia Martin, Malia Tate, Sheriff Noah Stilinski, Kira Yukimura, Chris Argent, Coach Bobby Finstock, Dr. Alan Deaton, Melissa McCall, Peter Hale, Deucalion, Deputy Jordan Parrish, Isaac Lahey, Braeden, Liam Dunbar, Mason Hewitt Pairings or potential pairings I like a lot- Stiles Stilinski/Lydia Martin(Stydia)- While in the beginning it was awkward, it still had its moments, like Stiles telling Lydia how he thinks she could win the Nobel Prize for Mathematics while asking her out for a dance, and her correcting him by saying its a Field Medal, but agreeing to dance anyways. Season 3 is where their dynamic really starts shining, and its pretty obvious they were being built up subtly if you know what to look for. Not to mention, it took Lydia the longest to forget about Stiles, and even when he was erased, she knew she loved him. If that's not OTP material, I don't know what is. Scott McCall/Malia Tate(Scalia)- I didn't expect this pairing, but it works really well, and the final Season definitely sold me on it even before they actually kissed. They have great chemistry and compliment each other well. She manages to show him when he has to be more aggressive while he shows her the value of teamwork and friendship. Only downside is it happened very late so we don't get much of them, which sucks, because they were great for the short time they were shown together. Scott McCall/Kira Yukimura- They actually have good chemistry and a lot of things in common. Not to mention, while Scott/Allison was filled with lies during its run in the first two Seasons, Scott and Kira found out everything about each other within three episodes, so that alone makes its base a strong one. While I prefer Scott/Malia, I think this pairing works as well. Chris Argent/Melissa McCall- This one too, I did not expect, as it looked like they'd pair Melissa and Sheriff for a long time, but Argent and Melissa work well and compliment each other. Not to mention, both deserve some happiness. Derek Hale/Braeden- It was mainly sexual, but I think they worked well and had a good dynamic as well. Noah Stilinski/Melissa McCall- As I said, I like Argent/Melissa, and prefer them to Sheriff/Melissa, but I don't mind this pairing either, and I believe they can work well too. Pairings or potential pairings I dislike- Scott McCall/Allison Argent(Scallison)- Frankly, I don't see the appeal here, and its obvious Allison knew a lot more about Stiles being held in the basement than she let on, and also tried to kill Derek and his Pack without remorse, almost turning into another Kate Argent. Why she never got called out for that is beyond me. And I really don't think Scott would want to be with her after that. Plus really, Crystal Reed was much more compelling as Marie-Jeanne Valet in one episode than as Allison in three Seasons. And remember, there is no sequel movie! Stiles Stilinski/Malia Tate(Stalia)- Don't hate the concept of it, but I don't like the execution. The hookup in 3x20 at Eichen House just felt random and out of nowhere. I'd said Season 3 was near-perfect. This random hookup is why I added the 'near' before the 'perfect'. There was just no buildup, and I did not find any reason to root for it. Frankly, I did not care when they break up, because while I love the two of them as characters, I just could not get behind the pairing. Lydia Martin/Jackson Whittermore- Maybe Jackson actually did love Lydia, but he treated her like trash in both Seasons 1 and 2, both when they were together and when they were not. And really, Jackson was nothing but a jerk when he was around in the first two Seasons. While I think Season 2 was great, them romanticizing Lydia/Jackson at the last moment was one huge issue I had with it. Lydia saying in Season 1 that she has to pretend to suck at a lot of things for Jackson's sake tells one all they need to know about this 'relationship'. Frankly, the show couldn't have gotten rid of Jackson fast enough. Lydia Martin/Jordan Parrish- The only thing they have in common is having powers of harbingers of death, with Lydia being a Banshee and Parrish being a Hellhound. Not to mention, a relationship between a high school student and a police officer is just inappropriate and creepy on many levels. My consolation here is that their kisses at least happened in only Parrish's dreams/visions, and there wasn't much to it. Because I like Parrish, and an actual relationship here would have made me like him much less. Characters I enjoy writing about most- Scott McCall, Mieczysław 'Stiles' Stilinski, Derek Hale, Lydia Martin, Malia Tate, Kira Yukimura, Sheriff Noah Stilinski, Chris Argent My criteria for reading or writing any fanfiction for this fandom- Usually stuff centered around Scott, Stiles, Derek, Lydia, Malia, Sheriff or Argent. Any good fics that explore more of the flashforward from the last episode have my vote as well. For pairings, I'll usually read Stiles/Lydia, Scott/Malia or Scott/Kira stuff. While I dislike Stiles/Malia, if its not the focus, I can read stories with them as well. Crossovers are fun, especially Buffyverse or TVDverse, or even some other stuff. Charmed We're talking about the 1998 show here, because fuck reboots! Anyway, this was a fun show, if flawed, with great family related moments, and some awesome characters and romances. Later Seasons have flaws though, like ignoring the rule of 'using magic for personal gain have consequences', but they are still watchable at least, and I liked the ending a lot, especially the final scene. Some of the characters went a bit downhill in the 2nd half too, and I'd rather have Phoebe die than Prue, considering how bad Phoebe got after Season 4, but still, overall a good one. Favorite Characters- Piper Halliwell, Paige Matthews, Leo Wyatt, Darryl Morris, Chris Halliwell, Cole Turner (except Season 5), Prue Halliwell, Patty Halliwell, Zankou, Barbas, Gideon, Kyra, Drake dè Mon, Phoebe Halliwell (until Season 4) Pairings or potential pairings I like a lot- Piper Halliwell/Leo Wyatt- The emotional heart of the show, they were amazing from start to finish, and managed to overcome all of the obstacles in their way. How can one not love these two? Paige Matthews/Henry Mitchell- A bit rushed but the actors made it work. Plus, Paige has a genetic need to help people, so who better for her than a parole officer? Like I said, some more development could have been done but it was still a good one. Piper Halliwell/Mark Chao- Out of all the non-Leo romances of Piper, this was the only one I liked, it was surprisingly well done, even though it was just for one episode, so this one finds a spot in my liked list. And its ironic since Mark was a ghost. Phoebe Halliwell/Drake dè Mon- The reveal that Cole sent him slightly ruined it for me, but it was still well done and a short, passionate romance, up until Drake died, and at least he made Phoebe believe in love again. Pairings or potential pairings I dislike- Paige Matthews/Kyle Brody- They completely destroyed Paige for this one, reducing her character to being Kyle's yes-man (or yes-woman, to be more accurate), seriously, her shrugging off what Brody did to Sheridan is completely OOC of Paige. When Brody and Beta killed each other, I had more sympathy for Beta. Of course making Brody a Whitelighter ruined it. Phoebe Halliwell/Cole Turner (Mixed opinion)- Good concept, but bad execution, plus post Season 4 it was just unneeded and ruined both of their characters. Really, while Phoebe and the rest have good reasons to not trust Cole now, sometimes Phoebe's bad treatment of him went overboard, and Phoebe's character went downhill at this point so its a wonder what Cole sees in her. Pretty much a classic example of toxic love that looks epic. Phoebe Halliwell/Coop- It was really rushed, instead of the crap with Dex, they could have introduced Coop early so that this romance felt earned. Seriously, Phoebe looked better with the previous Cupid she fell in love with. Basically, he was sent to help her find love but the real intention was for him and Phoebe to get together, its just weird and rushed. Plus, Coop can do better than Phoebe. Characters I enjoy writing about most- Piper Halliwell, Paige Matthews, Leo Wyatt My criteria for reading or writing any fanfiction for this fandom- Well, here Piper or Paige-centric fics are my usual cup of tea as these two are my favorite sisters, and Prue-centric stuff too since I like her a lot, but I like Piper and Paige more. Plus, there were cases of weak writing in the later Seasons so anything fixing that sensibly, I'll read in a heartbeat, and nothing which has Billie in a very major role because I never liked her much, and it became worse as time went on. Not a huge fan of Phoebe and so I read nothing centered around her specifically, which means I don't read Phoebe/Cole stuff either. And anything which has Phoebe/Cole beyond Season 4, I won't read that either unless they make major changes to what happened, in which case I can read stuff with Phoebe/Cole, but it shouldn't be the main focus of the fic either, so there's that too. As for pairings, for long stories I'd usually read Piper/Leo centric stuff, since they are the heart of the show. Supernatural Two brothers on the road, going from town to town to fight supernatural stuff. As a fan of the genre, I already liked the concept of the show, and how they went about it was very cool too. Dean Winchester and Sam Winchester are both great characters and unlike Stefan and Damon in TVD, I can buy their brotherly bond too as unlike Damon who tries to make his brother and others miserable, these two actually care about each other and would do anything for each other. Other characters like Castiel, Crowley and Bobby Singer are also a delight. Though I feel the first 5 Seasons are the best, some issues aside, since as a Hindu, I was annoyed by the 'Hammer of the Gods' episode for very obvious reasons, even if I still like the show overall. While the later Seasons are not as good as the first five and have some issues here and there, they are still good enough, though some plotlines are not as good as other ones. Still, Seasons 6-15 are decent as well, even if Seasons 1-5 is the golden age of this show. Plus the ending, while sad, seemed fitting enough in my personal opinion. Favorite Characters- Dean Winchester, Sam Winchester, John Winchester, Mary Winchester, Castiel, Bobby Singer, Rufus Turner, Bela Talbot, Ellen Harvelle, Jo Harvelle, Ash, Garth Fitzgerald IV, Jody Mills, Charlie Bradbury, Alex Jones, Claire Novak, Kevin Tran, Linda Tran, Jack Kline, Eileen Leahy, Donna Hanscum, Benny Lafitte, Crowley, Lucifer, Gabriel, Death, Meg Masters, Rowena MacLeod, Chuck Shurley/God (Before Season 14-15), Amara/The Darkness Pairings or potential pairings I like a lot- Dean Winchester/Bela Talbot- While she did screw the brothers quite a bit, her interactions with Dean were still fun to watch. Under different circumstances, she and Dean could have been a thing in my opinion. I do wish the writers had brought her back and given her a redemption arc. Dean Winchester/Lisa Braeden- Their interactions were sweet, as was Dean playing father figure to Lisa's son Ben whom he thought was his son at first, until realizing Ben wasn't. Sucks Lisa's and Ben's memories of Dean had to be erased later. Dean Winchester/Anna Milton- Interesting concept and their interactions were great. Sucks they ruined her in Season 5 though. Dean Winchester/Amara (The Darkness)- The concept was intriguing due to Dean being partially responsible for releasing her and her infatuation with him, since he was the first one she had ever seen upon her arrival to Earth. Plus, it was obvious that they had some attraction to each other and deep down on a certain level they cared about each other, in their own way of course, with Dean wanting to help her find her peace and Amara showing some level of affection to him due to the fact he was the one who had freed her, from her point of view, that is. Sam Winchester/Jessica Moore- Jess was a plot device obviously, to push Sam back into the hunting business, but even in the first episode, their interactions were sweet to watch. Poor Sam though for being haunted by her death. Sam Winchester/Eileen Leahy- Good chemistry, and they obviously cared for each other. Lot of potential here. I wish Eileen was confirmed to be Sam's wife. Pairings or potential pairings I dislike- Dean Winchester/Jo Harvelle- While I really like Jo, they seem more like older brother/younger sister to me, so I don't buy the romance. Sam Winchester/Ruby- Put aside the subtext between Jared Padalecki and Genevieve Cortese in Season 4 due to their real-life marriage and that Jared's interactions with Katie Cassidy in Season 3 were also fun to watch, just Ruby's demeanor and how sassy and snarky she could be and how she proved to be more and more increasingly bad influence Sam him until it was obvious she was using him to free Lucifer made it clear it was going to go to hell eventually and don't get me started on Ruby piquing Sam's addiction to demon blood to the point that he drank directly from her for months. Sam Winchester/Becky Rosen- She was just an obsessed fangirl and put Sam under a love spell to get him to marry her. While she got better later, this one is bad. Characters I enjoy writing about most- Dean Winchester, Sam Winchester, Castiel, Bobby Singer My criteria for reading or writing any fanfiction for this fandom- Anything focused on the two brothers, obviously, since these two are very compelling, plus I enjoy stuff that explores the mythology in the show in an alternate way. And my favorite thing to read for this fandom is obviously crossovers, especially with other supernatural franchises like Buffyverse or Charmed, and even other stuff like MCU, Smallville or Lucifer (simply to see this show's Lucifer interact with the Tom Ellis Lucifer). Plus I want to one day write a crossover between J.R.R. Tolkien's Legendarium and Supernatural, but that would need a lot of planning. For pairings, usually Dean/Bela in cases where she can be redeemed, but I'm usually more inclined to read other stuff for this fandom than pairings. Highlander This is a curious case, since the whole thing can work as just a nice stand-alone film, but the TV Series that came after it was really amazing, mainly for the first four Seasons. Seasons 5 and 6 did have their moments but they were not as good as the first four, which were just amazing. I also saw the anime film, which was also quite good. Connor and Duncan are both great, but my favorite is Methos, that guy is just so compelling and unique, and every time he comes on the screen, he just elevates it with his very presence, love that man. Overall, the 1986 film and the TV Series, mainly the first 5 Seasons, as well as the anime film, are really amazing to watch. Favorite Characters- Methos, Connor MacLeod, Duncan MacLeod, Amanda, Joe Dawson, Juan Sánchez Villa-Lobos Ramírez, Richie Ryan, Tessa Noël, Darius, Hugh Fitzcairn, Heather MacDonald, The Kurgan, Colin MacLeod Pairings or potential pairings I like a lot- Duncan MacLeod/Tessa Noël- These two were sweet and had a nice dynamic, and Tessa was very kind and understanding, and mature too. Her death will always be heartbreaking. Duncan MacLeod/Amanda- Sure its not the healthiest considering all that has happened, but they give a Batman/Catwoman or Spider-Man/Black Cat vibe to me, and their dynamic and interactions are always enjoyable. Connor MacLeod/Heather MacDonald- She was Connor's true love always, and well, can't say anything about them because nothing needs to be said. Pairings or potential pairings I dislike- Connor MacLeod/Brenda Wyatt- I just found this romance forced, the only big flaw of the first film. To its credit, it wasn't a toxic romance though, but still forced and unneeded overall, and didn't add much to the film. Characters I enjoy writing about most- Methos, Connor MacLeod, Duncan MacLeod My criteria for reading or writing any fanfiction for this fandom- Not much of a criteria for this fandom compared to various others, but I love well-written Methos-centric stuff due to how complex, compelling and badass that guy is. Also love fics where Richie or Tessa are alive, especially Richie as I wasn't a fan of what they did to him. And love movie/show crossovers, especially if those involve Methos meeting the Kurgan. Crossovers with other fandoms I like too, especially Buffyverse, and Smallville as well, though there aren't many in the latter case. Still, there's good stuff here for sure. For pairings, no strictness for this fandom really. The Librarian/The Librarians The concept here was very interesting, with a seemingly normal library housing so many magical and precious artefacts from myth and legend, plus the adventure aspect is handled really well. Its like 'Indiana Jones', if not as good. I think all three movies were enjoyable, with the first and third being my favorites, though the second had a good emotional plot in it as well. The TV Series is a good continuation, and the new characters introduced in it all proved themselves as well, though I am not a fan of what was done to Nicole in the last Season, even if they used time-travel to prevent it. Sucks it got cancelled, but I think the series as a whole had a good run while it lasted. Favorite Characters- Flynn Carsen, Colonel Eve Baird, Jacob Stone, Cassandra Cillian, Ezekiel Jones, Judson, Nicole Noone, Charlene, Jenkins/Galeas/Galahad Pairings or potential pairings I like a lot- Flynn Carsen/Colonel Eve Baird- Don't think I even need to explain myself here. While I found it slightly rushed at the start, its growth throughout the show won me over. Flynn Carsen/Nicole Noone- While I prefer Flynn/Eve at day's end, I did like Flynn/Nicole in the first film, and I'm still not a fan of what they ended up doing with Nicole in the last Season. Pairings or potential pairings I dislike- Cassandra Cillian/Jenkins- While I know it was mentioned as a bad decision pretty easily, and was brought up due to Cassandra's tumor, even an implication of a pairing like this is just annoying in general. And I've the same feelings about pairing Jenkins with any of the other Librarians as well. Characters I enjoy writing about most- Flynn Carsen, Colonel Eve Baird, Jacob Stone, Cassandra Cillian, Ezekiel Jones My criteria for reading or writing any fanfiction for this fandom- Once more, not much of a criteria on here either frankly, though any well-written adventure fic will do for me. But I do enjoy crossover ideas here with other fandoms like the Buffyverse. And for pairings, anything with Flynn/Eve will be good. The Vampire Diaries/The Originals/Legacies For TVD, I haven't read the novels, and I heard the show changed a lot anyway, so at first didn't watch it due to thinking it will just be a stupid Vampire/Werewolf teen drama of the Twilight sort. So I was glad to be proven wrong when I did see it. It is still a soap opera yes, but it is well-written with (mostly) enjoyable characters and compelling, exciting and mysterious plotlines. It still comes off as a poor man's Buffy to me tbh, no offense to TVD fans, but I do like it so far. I've now finished all of TVD up to Season 8 and not started Legacies yet so this section will keep getting updated. So far, I think TVD Seasons 1-3 were its best Seasons. Season 4 was weak but The Originals, the Steroline friendship and Katherine were the best parts of it. Season 5 had about 3 or 4 good episodes at best, and I went from feeling sorry for Katherine to being annoyed by her very existence. Katherine overstayed her welcome. Season 6 was good though and finally the doppelganger mess is over. Seasons 7 and 8 were decent but didn't hold my attention as much as Seasons 1-3 did, and the finale was mostly a good send-off to the show, though Stefan shouldn't have died since he and Caroline had just gotten married, and Bonnie/Enzo deserved better too. The Originals I've finished it all and I love it a lot, now this show is the real deal. Prefer it to TVD by A LOT! Plus now I get to see the Originals all the time, what's not to like about that? I do think it went downhill after Season 3, and Season 4 is my least favorite Season, though Season 5 was decent IMO, and while flawed, the ending felt fitting to me. Not seen 'Legacies' yet and I don't think I really will, since it doesn't seem like a necessary show to me, due to The Originals Season 5 having a fitting ending. Plus, from what I've heard of it and the clips I've seen, the show's out of place compared to the rest of the Universe. Favorite Characters- Klaus Mikaelson, Rebekah Mikaelson, Elijah Mikaelson (Until the last quarter of The Originals Season 2), Caroline Forbes, Bonnie Bennett, Camille "Cami" O'Connel, Freya Mikaelson (The Originals Season 3 onwards), Alaric Saltzman (Seasons 1-3), Jenna Sommers, Stefan Salvatore (After he broke up with Elena), Damon Salvatore (Seasons 1-3), Lorenzo "Enzo" St. John, Elizabeth "Liz" Forbes, Jeremy Gilbert, Alexia "Lexi" Branson, Hayley Marshall (In The Originals, except when she was married to Jackson), Kol Mikaelson, Katherine Pierce/Katerina Petrova, Hope Mikaelson (In The Originals Seasons 4 and 5) Pairings or potential pairings I like a lot- Bonnie Bennett/Lorenzo "Enzo" St. John(Benzo)- My favorite relationship in TVD. Enzo had a great redemption arc, and he loved Bonnie in the way she deserved, their relationship was beautiful. Amazing chemistry too for sure. Still angry Enzo got killed off. They both deserved better! Alaric Saltzman/Jenna Sommers- Now these two were a great couple in their short time, sweet with chemistry. Jenna's death is always gonna be tragic. Because of this, I didn't enjoy any following relationships of Alaric because none of them measured up to Jenna. Though Alaric/Jo still deserved better than Jo being killed right at their wedding. Jeremy Gilbert/Annabelle "Anna" Zhu- They were a great couple, passionate with sweet love, and I always consider Anna to be the love of Jeremy's life, so this pairing ending in tragedy was sad. Jeremy's future romance with Bonnie never measured up to this one and the whole thing with Anna's ghost proved that Anna is who he will always love. Stefan Salvatore/Caroline Forbes(Steroline)- One of the most natural relationships on the show, evolving from a deep and intimate friendship into true love. Stefan was the happiest he was in the show with Caroline. They brought out the best in each other. Bonnie Bennett/Damon Salvatore(Bamon)- I only liked Damon in Seasons 1-3 and there too as a villain, since he was interesting then. As a hero he really just doesn't make much sense to me due to his constant regressions, and after Season 3 he just got annoying. Point being, while I don't like Damon, Bonnie and Alaric make him tolerable, he's great with them. Liz too but I can't enjoy their friendship as much as I should because of what Damon did to Caroline. Anyways, Bonnie was able to hold Damon accountable while simultaneously being there for him in a way that didn't justify his actions. Bonnie brought out the best in Damon. Klaus Mikaelson/Camille "Cami" O'Connel(Klamille)- These two have seen the best and the worst of each other and accept it. Cami was able to hold Klaus accountable in ways that made him stop and consider his actions. Cami was definitely a big part of Klaus' redemption. At first I wasn't sure of it but after the thing with Father Kieran and then 2x4, I was sold on it. Klaus Mikaelson/Hayley Marshall(Klayley)- This one depends on what Season it is, because when Hayley is written well, she and Klaus seem to get each other very well, and they have a lot more chemistry and basis for romance than Hayley and Elijah. Plus, they both already are parents to a daughter, so them getting together would just make the family more complete. Pairings or potential pairings I dislike- Stefan Salvatore/Elena Gilbert(Stelena)- Stefan saves Elena from a car accident and becomes obsessed with the fact that she looks exactly like his sire, Kathrine. He goes to extreme lengths to insert himself into her life, even enrolling at the same school and stalking her for the six months between the crash and the beginning of the show because he 'has to know her'. Oh, and they break up in episode six after she learns he's a Vampire and get together in episode ten, having sex for the first time after Elena says she loves him, in a time frame that is, at most, a month. And during this time, Stefan has yet to divulge her resemblance to Katherine. Even with the explanation in Season 5, the whole thing is toxic and uncomfortable to watch, Stefan was as obsessed with Elena as Katherine was with him. Plus I didn't find Elena an interesting character either way and she only got worse as time passed. Even with the explanation in Season 5, its a terrible pairing and the best thing Stefan did was move on from the toxic love triangle of himself, Elena and Damon. Damon Salvatore/Elena Gilbert(Delena)- Just because I dislike Stelena doesn't mean I'm a Delena shipper. I don't have much positive to say about this pairing either. First of all, I find love triangles annoying so the whole thing was tainted for me right from that, and they seem to only bring out the worst in each other. Plus Damon's redemption arc is just not consistent and he regresses to a bad guy a lot. Elena, I've already said it, I don't find her that interesting. Damon Salvatore/Caroline Forbes(Daroline)- Damon compelled, raped and abused Caroline a lot, and would have killed her too. Its a surprise they are even civil to each other after all that happened between them. Klaus Mikaelson/Caroline Forbes(Klaroline)- Caroline repeatedly tries to work with her friends to get rid of Klaus and Klaus himself has tried to kill her three times, once after he's supposedly in love with her. Yet we're supposed to buy that these two can be friends, much less lovers? Oh, and let's not forget how Caroline referred to Kol's corpse as 'this thing' in front of Klaus. Considering how family obsessed the Mikaelsons are, its really weird how Klaus seems to shrug that off. Plus the Tyler thing made it weird too. I do think they have good chemistry and some fun or sweet moments, but overall, I find it a terrible pairing. Elijah Mikaelson/Hayley Marshall- They have no chemistry at all and had very little time together before they suddenly decided to show interest in each other. Plus, he's her daughter's uncle so that just makes it weirder. Rebekah Mikaelson/Marcel Gerard- They have little chemistry, and Rebekah is always torn between Marcel and Klaus which just makes this unhealthy. And let's not forget she helped raise him which makes this really weird. Stefan Salvatore/Katherine Pierce- Stefan was obsessed with Elena, and before that Katherine was obsessed with him, it was not love in the slightest. Damon Salvatore/Katherine Pierce- After all Katherine did to Damon, well, its kind of like being with someone who cheated on you. It might be fun, but in the back of your mind, you'll always know they cheated on you and never trust them. I do enjoy them as a fun, scheming pair of friends but as a couple? Hell no! Bonnie Bennett/Jeremy Gilbert- I was open to it at first but Bonnie always seemed to be Jeremy's rebound from Anna and the whole mess with Anna's ghost was the final nail in the coffin. I couldn't care about them after that no matter how hard the writers wanted me to. Now I get that Jeremy loved Anna, she was the love of his life, and she was great for him, but Bonnie deserves better than someone who'd choose a ghost over her. Caroline Forbes/Tyler Lockwood- Honestly, outside of Matt, Tyler is my least favorite member of the Mystic Falls Gang, and I found him annoying from the start, and so this pairing too, I found annoying really. Caroline could do much better, and she did eventually with Stefan. Characters I enjoy writing about most- Klaus Mikaelson, Rebekah Mikaelson, Elijah Mikaelson, Caroline Forbes, Bonnie Bennett, Stefan Salvatore, Lorenzo "Enzo" St. John My criteria for reading or writing any fanfiction for this fandom- Well, I won't read anything about Damon or Delena, unless Delena is in the background completely since while I hate it, I can tolerate it in a fic if its in the background. Damon-centric stuff I'll only read if he gets a genuine redemption arc, unlike in the show, plus he could be paired with Bonnie too, since she brings out the best in him. The Originals is a better show so I enjoy reading about those characters a lot more tbh, especially Klaus, Rebekah and Elijah, though Elijah went downhill after the first 2/3rds of The Originals Season 2 IMO, but he was my favorite before that. For TVD, the characters I enjoy most are Caroline, Bonnie, Stefan and Enzo, so I'd usually read stories about them, especially if it has Steroline and Benzo. I definitely enjoy crossovers here too, as long as they don't make TVDverse out to be more powerful than verses like Tolkien's Legendarium, MCU, Smallville, etc. because its not. For TVD, my favorite spot to cross it over is Seasons 1-3, and for Originals as well. Regarding pairings, some pairings I dislike a lot but I can read fics with them if they're in the background, like Delena, Hayley/Elijah or Rebekah/Marcel. But stuff like Stelena, Klaroline, Daroline, etc. I'll never read. For smut, any smut between pairings I like, mostly Steroline though. And that's it here. Arrowverse Arrowverse has many ups and downs but is now horrible. It has some really awesome seasons- Arrow Season 1, Arrow Season 2, The Flash Season 1, The Flash Season 2 and Arrow Season 5. But those are it, rest of its mostly trash. Their problem is they try to make their shows into a soap-opera a lot and give us bad romantic relationships. The good relationships are always ditched in favor of the bad ones or less good ones. And so recently, I have given up on the entire Arrowverse. Crisis on Infinite Earths was just horribly done and I have no idea how anyone can even like that abomination. Part 1 was terrible, with Oliver's stupidly written first death. Part 2 just made Conroy's Batman an evil chump who can send Kara flying off but one kick from Kate into some machine fries him, even when the suit helped him battle meta-humans in the comics. I do like the idea of evil Batman, but Crisis wasn't the time for it, and they didn't do evil Batman justice either. And they also ruined Smallville in minutes with how terribly Clark's character was written in that scene. But Brandon Routh's Superman was amazing and he saved that part. Part 3 was terrible too, too much Iris, and except Routhman and J'onn, none of the Paragons are worthy of being Paragons at this point, plus killing off Routhman was stupid. Part 4 was actually pretty good, the only good part of the entire thing. Oliver was treated respectfully for the first time in a long time, and even Anti-Monitor was a semi-decent villain in this part, and the final battle was decent, but they could have done it better. Part 5 was just unneeded. Anti-Monitor's return made zero sense and invalidated Oliver's sacrifice. And where the hell was Thawne? Wasn't he supposed to be part of this? Even if you count out the newspaper clipping, he said in the Season 5 finale that he would see Barry in the Crisis. And any arguments that the writers couldn't fit him in are baseless because he was involved in Season 6 for one episode eventually, and seriously, they have time for the annoying Beebo but not Thawne? Idiots. And Anti-Monitor's defeat was just lame. A better ending to Crisis would be that Thawne returns and brings time remnants of other villains with him for one final fight, and they all are beaten and then Barry and Thawne fight without Barry disappearing. Arrow had a semi-decent ending in my opinion. Satisfying in some aspects, terrible in others. There were some things I loved in Season 8, like Earth-2 Adrian Chase, Tatsu Yamashiro, and the Arrow part of the COIE crossover was the only good one. But Oliver spending eternity with Felicity is a terrible ending for him, and him dying in general is just a bad ending for him, mainly because his first death was stupidly written (why the hell did he charge the army with no bow? Really no point to it) while his second death could be easily reverted if Oliver as Spectre made an Earth-Prime doppelganger with memories from both the realities and the powers of Spectre intact. Plus, the writers couldn't resist attacking Oliver's character one last time in the finale. Flash is garbage after Season 2. I hate the WestAllen pairing with a passion but that's what they focus on instead of the plot. And the version of Iris in this show is one of the worst characters ever. Plus, the villains just keep getting more and more underwhelming and Barry is also made out to be the bad guy even when he is right. I'm not watching new seasons of this show now. Supergirl mostly focused on propaganda instead of telling a good story and I stopped watching it after Season 3. The only reason I will rewatch it is for story ideas. I'm happy that eyesore is going to stop disgracing TV by being on it, as Season 6 is the last. Legends of Tomorrow used to be decent but now it is really horrible and boring. I didn't even finish Season 4 and just dropped it, and looking back, even the Seasons I liked at first are horrible IMO. The characters that got me into the show were Sara, Snart, Mick, Jax and Stein. Now Snart and Stein are dead, Jax is gone, Sara is ruined and nothing more than a piece of propaganda, and Mick is just there. I love Constantine as well but even he couldn't save this show. The less said on Batwoman, the better. I've heard good things about Stargirl and Superman & Lois though, so maybe one day I'll give them a chance. Black Lightning I saw some of it and liked it but it didn't draw me in completely. Favorite Characters- Oliver Queen, Sara Lance, Roy Harper, Thea Queen, Nyssa al Ghul, Barry Allen, Cisco Ramon, Caitlin Snow, Joe West, Earth-2 Harrison 'Harry' Wells, John Constantine, Earth-1 Leonard Snart, Mick Rory, Lena Luthor, Earth-X Leonard 'Leo' Snart, Winn Schott, J'onn J'onnz, Adrian Chase, Slade Wilson, Malcolm Merlyn, Eobard Thawne, Earth-2 Hunter Zolomon Pairings or potential pairings I like a lot- Oliver Queen/Sara Lance(CanArrow)- These 2 love, respect and understand each other the best. It might have begun in a bad way, but that was when they were young and immature. They have a connection with each other as they were on Lian Yu together for a year and both have gone through a lot which changed them. The 2 also have the best chemistry. The only reason they weren't together was because the darkness in Sara almost consumed her. But they don't have that problem now so they can be together. This is my OTP for Arrow. Oliver Queen/Nyssa al Ghul(Olyssa)- Don't even give the argument that she is a lesbian. It hasn't been confirmed in the show. She could be a bisexual for all we know. Plus, this is fanfiction. People turn straight characters into gay or lesbian or bisexual. These 2 have a lot in common, are both warriors, are dedicated to protecting those they love and use excessive force for that. They would be a good match. Oliver Queen/Lena Luthor(ArrowCorp)- Specifically the Season 2 versions of them both. Their family names were both ruined by the actions of another family member (Moira for Oliver and Lex for Lena) and they were the ones trying their best to redeem it. They both work in shades of grey and are not afraid to get their hands dirty. Plus, their Smallville counterparts did use to date, and were a decent pairing in my opinion. Out of all the pairings between Oliver and a Supergirl character, I'd say Oliver/Lena is the best one. Oliver Queen/Helena Bertinelli- They had good chemistry. However, Helena was revealed to be a psychopath later. But in 'Birds of Prey', she wanted to redeem herself so it would have been good to see a relationship between them after that. Oliver Queen/McKenna Hall- I think these two were a good pairing while they lasted, and the way she had to leave was sad. Wish they could have reconnected later. Oliver Queen/Lyla Michaels- Became a fan of this recently. These two suit each other much more than they suit their current partners. They both work in shades of grey and are not afraid to get their hands dirty. Honestly, I'd prefer if Oliver didn't get back together with Felicity and Lyla just divorced Diggle or didn't get back with him either, and then these two can get together. Oliver Queen/Talia al Ghul- Now the way things were in Season 5, not the biggest fan, but Talia was more reasonable in the Season 5 flashbacks and Seasons 7 and 8, and if you remove Talia's obsessive loyalty to her father, and write this thing well, a pairing between them can work. I have read some good fanfiction with both of them. Oliver Queen/Kara Danvers(Kariver)- These 2 have different personalities and outlooks on life but they have a lot in common. The losses they have suffered, their survivor's guilt, their positions on their Earths. They also have a good connection and good chemistry. If Kara is less self-righteous, it would work. Barry Allen/Patty Spivot(Spallen)- Lots and lots of chemistry and they have a lot in common. Both are absolute geeks and have some darkness within themselves due to the deaths of a parent. A shame they had to write her off. Barry Allen/Caitlin Snow(SnowBarry)- Lots of unexplored chemistry. They have a connection. There are moments in 'Things You Can't Outrun' and 'Crazy For You' when we think they can get together. The only reason they don't get together is because Barry is obsessed with Iris. Barry Allen/Kara Danvers(SuperFlash)- They have a lot of chemistry, superpowers, similar personalities and both were raised by people who were not biologically related to them because they both lost their biological family at an early age. And they always smile when they are with each other. If allowed, they could be the best power couple, provided Kara gets less self-righteous. Barry Allen/Felicity Smoak(Barricity)- This was a great relationship. I loved it in 'The Scientist', 'Three Ghosts' and 'Going Rogue'. They had a lot of chemistry and a lot in common, like being geeks and also having unrequited love. Unfortunately, the writers decided to make Iris and Oliver return the affection even though it made no sense and they butchered Felicity in Seasons 3, 4 and 5 till she became unlikable, and they butchered Barry in his show as well. They did fix her in Season 6 but now they can't get together as both are married. Barry Allen/Linda Park- Short but sweet, and it was nice to see the two having some fun with Barry not thinking of Iris for once. Now I don't see this as long lasting, but this pairing still deserved better than to be broken up for the stupid WestAllen. Cisco Ramon/Lisa Snart(GoldenVibe)- Better than all of Cisco's other relationships in the show combined. They have a dynamic like Batman and Catwoman. I wish they were OTP. Sara Lance/Leonard Snart(Captain Canary)- This was potentially a great pairing. I liked the faint romantic tension between them in the entire Season 1. I also loved their flirting. Of course the kiss was a little rushed but it was still good. Unfortunately, they decided to kill him off. Sara Lance/Nyssa al Ghul(Post Season 3)- While I don't see the relationship surviving that much outside the League, it can still work decently after Nyssa has finally become a better person during the middle of Season 4 and Sara isn't as clouded by her darkness as before. Roy Harper/Thea Queen- Amazing pairing. Great love story. Unfortunately, Roy was written off in Season 3 and his return in Season 6 was wasted. At least him and Thea agreed to get married in the Series finale. They deserved happiness. Tommy Merlyn/Earth-1 Laurel Lance- I liked these two together much more than Oliver and Laurel, and I think they had true feelings for each other. Only bad thing is the love triangle with Oliver. Earth-2 Adrian Chase/Earth-2 Laurel Lance- These two had a good dynamic for their one appearance together and he even called her 'pretty bird' so I think I'd have liked this one. Ray Palmer/Nora Darhk- Mostly because the actors are married in real life, but this was still cute and funny. Oliver Queen/Sara Lance/Nyssa al Ghul(Assassin Canarrow)- Oliver and Sara are true lovers (you can't change my mind) and Oliver and Nyssa are very similar people too and have a good dynamic, and Sara and Nyssa can be a better pairing after Nyssa is free of the League, if not long lasting. But if all three of them get together, it can totally be long lasting, and I think they would be perfect together. Barry Allen/Patty Spivot/Caitlin Snow(SnowSpAllen)- Barry and Patty looked the happiest together (you can't change my mind) and Barry and Caitlin can easily be a great pairing too, while Patty and Caitlin aren't that different as people, so a pairing with all three of them together would totally work, and all three get to live happily ever after. Pairings or potential pairings I dislike- Barry Allen/Iris West(WestAllen)- First of all, they grew up under the same roof and they both call Joe 'dad' so it is almost incest. But that is the least of my problems with this relationship. They don't have any chemistry as a couple either. Plus, Barry seems like an obsessive stalker in Season 1 and sabotages his own relationships to be with her. Iris, on the other hand, treats Barry awfully. In Season 1, she tried to sabotage his relationship with Linda while she was with Eddie. She also blamed him for Eddie being taken. Barry is the worst version of himself when he is with Iris. In Season 3, the only thing he cares about is saving her. Everything else is a distant second. He forgets Cisco and Caitlin mostly, which is sad as the friendship between these 3 was one of the best things in the first 2 seasons of the show. Also, she broke up with him right after he was almost killed by Savitar and then showed off her ringless finger. In Season 4, Iris has officially become the worst character in the Arrowverse. The way she treated him during the couple-counselling alone made me hate her. Then 5x19 happened where she said she didn't care that Nora worked with Thawne, who killed Barry's mom and got his dad imprisoned, proving she is a sociopath who cares only about herself. If anyone still likes this pairing and Iris after that, get help. They forced this relationship down our throats and sabotaged all other relationships of Barry which were good. Cisco Ramon/Caitlin Snow- These 2 are amazing as friends and have a great brother/sister relationship. Why anyone would think of them as lovers is beyond me. Alex Danvers/Maggie Sawyer(Sanvers)- The only reason this was around was to show us that Alex is a lesbian. That's it. There was no other reason for this pairing to exist. Maggie was an unnecessary character. She had some strong material with her father but she was written off 2 episodes later so that was pointless. Kara Danvers/James Olsen- Rushed pairing and I did not see any chemistry. Kara Danvers/Mon-El(Karamel)- This one had decent chemistry but was rushed and they were better off as friends. Kara Danvers/Lena Luthor(SuperCorp)- There is some sexual subtext between them, but Lena works in shades of grey, while Kara is too self-righteous, so Lena is just too mature for Kara, and after all the secrets Lena has kept from Kara, and the one secret Kara has kept from Lena, and them being at each other's throats, it just leaves one with a sour taste, so not a huge fan. Kara Danvers/Winn Schott- Winn's feelings came out of nowhere and it just strained their good friendship. Then Kara was whining about Winn's feelings as if he did something wrong by feeling that way. Not a fan of this. Kara Danvers/Alex Danvers(Kalex)- These two aren't related by blood, but they actually have a sister-like bond, and Kara was accepted as a daughter by the family, so this pairing is almost incest to me. James Olsen/Lena Luthor- This is not that bad but there was no buildup and this is weird as James had issues with Lena simply because she was Lex's sister. This is only because they don't know what to do with James and Lena is not becoming a villain anytime soon. Carter Hall/Kendra Saunders- It takes a special kind of incompetency to screw up such an awesome relationship in the comics and also both the characters involved in it. They had no chemistry as a couple and Kendra was annoying with her 'one month ago I was a barista' line. I wanted to shove a sock down her throat to prevent her from speaking. Carter was just boring. And they did not spend much time together as he died within 2 episodes and came back in the last couple of them. Ray Palmer/Kendra Saunders- Ray deserves much better than the annoying 'I used to be a barista' and this relationship was only done to make a love triangle with Carter. Dinah Drake/Vincent Sobel- This was done solely to make Dinah an unlikable character. And it made Vigilante pointless too. This relationship is one of the reasons Arrow Season 6 got screwed. Sara Lance/Ava Sharpe(AvaLance)- I used to like it but after the reveal that Ava is a clone, I just can't stand it, and it was rushed. Sara Lance/Nyssa al Ghul(Season 2)- While I do think they could make a better pairing Post-Season 3, I have no idea how anyone can like them in Season 2. At this point, Nyssa treated Sara as a prized possession rather than a person, and she poisoned Laurel too and tried to go after Sara's family. Sara not giving Nyssa business over this entire matter was just OOC. Malcolm Merlyn/Moira Queen- Anyone who thinks these two have any feelings for each other is kidding themselves. Malcolm is a horrible person through and through, and anyone with a half-decent soul deserves better than him. John Diggle/Lyla Michaels (Mixed opinion)- In the earlier Seasons, I used to love them together and found them the best, drama-free pairing on Arrow. But late Season 5 onwards, Diggle has become a self-righteous hypocrite who puts people like Oliver and Lyla down because they work in shades of grey to make himself feel better, and has a blind spot for Felicity. Plus, he is partly responsible for JJ becoming Deathstroke in the future, so he is a bad influence to their kid too. And they even ruined Lyla in Season 8 by revealing she worked for the Monitor and was manipulating certain events. After all the crap Diggle has pulled throughout the show, its a wonder why the Green Lantern Ring chose him in the series finale. Guess the standards of the Lantern Corps are low on Earth-Prime, just like the entire Arrowverse. Now because I did love this pairing a lot in the earlier Seasons, I can't bring myself to hate it completely, but I can't like it the way I used to either. Oliver Queen/Felicity Smoak(Olicity) (Mixed opinion)- I used to dislike it a lot because its basically a wannabe version of Oliver/Chloe in Smallville, only here Oliver is a whipped dog who takes everything Felicity throws at him. She is allowed to keep secrets, but he is not. He is doing morally ambiguous things, it is his fault. She is doing morally ambiguous things, it is still his fault. The William situation made me dislike this too. However, Seasons 6 and 7 did this relationship better, with less drama, so not as much of a problem with it as before, but still not a huge fan. Could have been if they were done better, but they weren't, unfortunately. Oliver Queen/Earth-1 Laurel Lance(Lauriver) (Mixed opinion)- I think this had potential but was killed by bad writing, with Oliver having cheated on her and Laurel showing no conflicting feelings in the first few episodes which made me wonder why I am supposed to root for these two. Plus, there is a power imbalance, in that Oliver protects Laurel from the consequences of her mistakes throughout the show and sometimes even takes the blame for her mistakes, making the entire thing unhealthy. I do like fanfiction with these two, that rewrites the entire relationship, while not bashing Oliver and Sara and making Laurel look like a total saint which she really isn't, but as things stand in the show, not a big fan. Oliver Queen/Earth-2 Laurel Lance(Lauriver) (Mixed opinion)- While I think this can be good, Season 6 ruined Black Siren and made her a moustache twirling villain, and the flip-flopping stuff turned me off on her. Guess with Malcolm dead they wanted her to carry out the tradition. And at the end of the day, I think they can only be a rebound, as Oliver would try to see his Laurel in her and Laurel would try to see her Oliver in him, and it would make this pairing not the best. Characters I enjoy writing about most- Oliver Queen, Barry Allen, Sara Lance (Arrow Season 2 version), Slade Wilson, Roy Harper, Nyssa al Ghul, Cisco Ramon, Caitlin Snow, Harry Wells, Patty Spivot, Eobard Thawne (Season 1 version), Malcolm Merlyn (Season 1 version), Adrian Chase My criteria for reading or writing any fanfiction for this fandom- I usually read stuff centered around Oliver, Barry, Slade, Roy, Cisco, Caitlin or Sara (not LOT Sara, Arrow Season 2 Sara) here since they are my favorites. And the shows bash Oliver and Barry a lot, so any story bashing them or making them out to be wrong when they're right, just not worth it one bit. Legends of Tomorrow and Supergirl I just don't like at all so I won't read anything solely about these shows, only crossovers with Arrow and Flash. Now, regarding Team Arrow, the best Team Arrow is easily Oliver, Sara and Roy, though there are others I do like, mainly Thea, Quentin and Rene outside of Arrow Season 6, but the team just got too big in the later Seasons. Felicity I liked a lot at the start but she became a shrew later, though she was better in Seasons 6 and 7 so at best I like her thrown into the background or written out. Diggle too I used to like a lot but after Season 6 I can't stand him and any attempt to make him look like Oliver's brother-in-arms, in the show or any fanfiction, I find pathetic and laugh at, Diggle barely qualifies as Oliver's friend at this point. Both Oliver and Lyla can do much better than a self-righteous asshole like him. The recruits too are just snowflakes who need reality checks. Also, any story where the bullshit that Season 1 Oliver was a monster who enjoyed killing is presented as legit, I know not to read that crap. Earth-1 Laurel I like but she doesn't have it in her to be a vigilante, she works best as a lawyer, and Earth-2 Laurel too turned into a horrible character Arrow Season 6 onwards. I do enjoy AUs where Oliver becomes leader of the League of Assassins, and if its Oliver/Nyssa pairing, even better. Anything erasing the crap from the later Seasons is a joy to read. Also, Malcolm is a horrible person and his redemption made no sense, so anything with him as a good guy, a no-no from me, out of all fics I've read only ONE has redeemed Malcolm sensibly. Regarding Flash, it was best when it was about Barry, Cisco and Caitlin with Joe as moral support, and out of all the good Wells, Harry was the best so I read stuff with them as the main team. And I like Ralph too so him added doesn't hurt. Iris is a horrible person and one of the worst characters ever created so anything which has her paired with Barry, I won't read, because he deserves better. For pairings, I read long stories centered around Barry/Patty, Oliver/Sara, Oliver/Nyssa or Barry/Caitlin. I'll never read anything with Barry/Iris, Oliver/Felicity, Oliver/Laurel (either version) or Sara/Ava, because those pairings just suck. Regarding explicit smut, again, if its pairings I like, all good, and I myself have an explicit smut fic with a Barry/Patty/Caitlin 3-way titled 'Hot and Cold'. But from now on, outside of my big crossovers, if I write anything with Arrowverse, its gonna be kinky smut, mostly with Barry/Patty/Caitlin/Killer Frost and Oliver/Sara/Nyssa, though I can occasionally involve women like Kara, Felicity and Linda with the first trio (or quartet if you count Caitlin and Killer Frost separately), and women like Lena, Lyla, Helena, Talia and Shado with the second trio. Even if I write proper stories with Arrowverse, there’s gonna be kinky smut thrown in because I’m turned off on Arrowverse, but the ladies are fine AF, and I’m a pervert who thinks about sex all the time, LMAO! So this is all the Arrowverse gets from me. Which means my Arrowverse fics only get uploaded and updated on AO3 as that's where I upload my explicit stuff. Now there are a lot of other fandoms I do read and write about, like the X-Men movie series, Spider-Man (comics, Raimiverse, Webbverse, The Spectacular Spider-Man, Into the Spider-verse, etc. since Spider-Man is my most favorite superhero and 4th favorite character of all time), Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy (mostly Compilation of Final Fantasy VII), Merlin (The TV Series), Blade (mostly the movies), Lucifer (the TV Series), Mission: Impossible (Movie series), Doctor Who, Friends, Dragon Ball, Naruto, Deadpool, Terminator (First 2 movies and TSCC), John Wick, and many more, but the fandoms listed above are my major ones so those got their own sections. Crossover pairings I support- Matt Murdock/Earth-1 Laurel Lance(Daredevil/Arrow)- Both are lawyers as well as vigilantes in secret, and Matt can help Laurel get over her naive view of the world. There are some good fics with these two I've read, and I did try my hand at both of them in a story of mine, but ended up favoring Matt/Natasha at the end of the day, though Matt and Laurel still remained friends in it. Wanda Maximoff/Barry Allen(MCU/Flash)- I'm gonna blame Stand with Ward and Queen and Raptor2216 for this one. They both have written amazing stories with this pairing and I enjoyed their interactions in both of their series, so this pairing gets two thumbs-up from me, and would get more if I had more hands. Steve Rogers/Diana Prince(MCU/DCEU)- Similar backstories which involve a World War, and Steve Rogers is a lot like Steve Trevor, whom Diana loved and lost, so a romance between these two can work really well. Thor Odinson/Diana Prince(MCU/DCEU)- I prefer Steve/Diana, but Thor/Diana can work too. Both are connected an old mythological pantheon of Gods, and in a way, feel like the most different people in their teams, so a pairing between them can work as well. Thor Odinson/Kara Danvers(MCU/Supergirl)- I admit this is due to me doing the pairing in my own story, but Thor can help Kara get over her naive world view and teach her to be better, while Kara can help him lighten up a little, and well, both are different from those around them, so a pairing isn't impossible. Steve Rogers/Caitlin Snow(MCU/Flash)- Blaming Stand with Ward and Queen for this, as he made me a fan of this pairing in his 'Two earths' series and all of their interactions and romance were very enjoyable. Natasha Romanoff/Oliver Queen(MCU/Arrow)- I have read some nice stories with these two as a pairing, and I think they can work out perfectly. Both have worked for espionage organizations (though unwillingly in Oliver's case), both see the world in shades of grey, and are not averse to doing some morally grey stuff (nothing too bad though) to save the day, and both of them sacrificed their lives to help save their Universes. This is a great pairing. Bucky Barnes/Sara Lance(MCU/Arrow)- Now first let me make it clear, the Sara in LOT from Season 2 onwards isn't the real Sara, just a faker wearing her skin, because she is nothing like the Sara I fell in love with. The Sara I'm talking about is the one from Arrow Season 2. She and Bucky both survived in terrible conditions, and had to be assassins for evil organizations. Sara became one to survive, Bucky was brainwashed into being one, and now both are on the path to redemption. They will connect to each other very well and I can see them make it work. Legolas/Susan Pevensie(LOTR/Narnia)- Yeah, I know they are shipped because they are archers in a fantasy verse, but hear me out. Legolas does need some love in his life, and Susan (in the movies) has a certain taste in men. Counting out leadership skills and maybe swordplay skills, Legolas is everything Caspian is, and even better. The two can be a good relationship, if a tragic one like Aragorn/Arwen. Perhaps Legolas will also have to sacrifice his immortality to live a life with love but well, what can I say? Only thing is the age difference but he's an Elf, and Susan can be aged up a little too. Dante/Bayonetta(Devil May Cry/Bayonetta)- Both are badass, witty, quippy, OP heroes with similar personalities and can be the ultimate, sexy power couple. Yup, totally behind this one. Oliver Queen/Chloe Sullivan(Arrow/Smallville)- I think Ollie (I call Smallville Oliver that to differentiate him from Arrowverse Oliver) and Chloe were a great couple, while Oliver and Felicity were a failed copy. However, Oliver and Chloe can also work together rather well. Chloe may be a babbling hacker, but in the later Seasons, she matured a lot, and knew sometimes you needed to do morally grey actions to save the day, which makes her and Oliver compatible, since he also had that trait before Felicity emasculated him. A relationship between these two would be intriguing for sure. Clark Kent/Buffy Summers(Smallville/Buffyverse)- Similar personalities, and both hid a big secret from the people around them for a long time, and both have a moral code too which they won't break (Not sure if that's a good or a bad thing. Depends on the viewer's mentality really) and both even ran away from home at the end of the second Seasons of their shows due to emotional hurt. They can relate rather easily. What's not to like? Clark Kent/Dawn Summers(Smallville/Buffyverse)- Gonna blame Chunk127 for this one. They did a great job with this pairing in their story and made me root for these two. I loved every single moment they shared in that fic. Clark Kent/Faith Lehane(Smallville/Buffyverse)- Again, because of Chunk127. Clark has a habit of seeing the best in people, and I feel he can get Faith to open up about her past, and be the supportive shoulder she needs to vent out her feelings to, which can prevent her mental breakdown as well. She, on the other hand, can help him unleash his wilder side, and make him a bit less naive. Oliver Queen/Buffy Summers(Smallville/Buffyverse)- Once more, Chunk127 is the reason I like this pairing. Their relationship was developed in their fic and the two have some similarities in that they showed the world one side of them while helping it out via their other side. Oliver Queen/Faith Lehane(Arrow/Buffyverse)- This one can be a bit like Oliver/Helena in canon I guess, but in Faith's case, the signs are just as recognizable, and unlike Helena, a talking to at an earlier stage could have saved her. Oliver can be that one for her, and help her through her dark time. These two can work rather well together. Matt Murdock/Faith Lehane (MCU/Buffyverse)- After her redemption in Angel Season/Buffy Season 7, I think he'd be a good pairing for her, especially if its after he has lost Elektra. They can be good for each other, he can help her find a proper balance between light and darkness, and she can help him let a little loose. Peter Parker/Dawn Summers (MCU/Buffyverse)- Basically, if you think about it, both are the youngest members of their superhero groups (if you wanna call the Scoobies that), and they contribute, give good ideas, are smart and all that, but are still not taken seriously and treated badly (mainly by Tony and Buffy respectively), so they can relate to each other due to just that, and form a bond. Clark Kent/Prue Halliwell (Smallville/Charmed)- Didn't think I'd like this from the age difference alone but Chunk127 did great with this pairing and I fell in love with it. Clark Kent/Paige Matthews (Smallville/Charmed)- Paige has a genetic need to help people, and we all know how much Clark loves to help people too, these two can be a great match for sure. Steve Rogers/Paige Matthews (MCU/Charmed)- Same as Clark/Paige, Captain America is literally the best person for someone like Paige. Angel/Paige Matthews (Buffyverse/Charmed)- Mainly due to Marcus S. Lazarus' Angel/Charmed crossover series. In the beginning I wasn't sure since it was just Angel/Buffy with Paige instead of Buffy, and I hate Angel/Buffy due to Angel behaving like a creep and both being lovesick puppies, but later he added a lot more depth to it and made it a mature relationship, with both of them equals, and the age difference wasn't bad enough to make it creepy since Buffy was 15 in the show, while Paige is an adult. So, I like this one too. Why I am not too sympathetic to Team Iron Man in Captain America: Civil War- Back when Civil War came out, I was Team Cap, but I did understand the points of Team Iron Man, and I could sympathize with Tony. But after repeated viewings, and due to several other reasons, my sympathy for Team Iron Man has gone down, and I didn't even like Tony in the movie. Here is why. Tony Stark wasn't well-written in the film- I have heard people say its character growth for Tony that he goes from being anti-government to pro-government, but I found it stupid, simply because Tony was written to be an idiot in the movie. The real Tony would take one look at the Accords, laugh at Ross' face and ask- "Retire? Try and make us." The Accords are a good idea, but their execution is flawed, and a genius like Tony should see it. Plus, he doesn't even hear a single argument against his own vision, and literally shuts down arguments by quipping "I win." Then, he goes on to manipulate Steve into signing the Accords, by lying. Because there is no way for him to amend the Accords when he has already signed. You amend a lease after signing it? No! Its the same here. He can put in suggestions, but I doubt anyone will listen to him. What's he gonna do? Withhold Stark Phone 12.0 from the countries that refuse amendment? He'll be booked for extortion if he tries that. Anyone who thinks he can amend the Accords or did is an idiot who needs to take off their blinders. It doesn't end here. He also calls Wanda a WMD when he himself flies around wearing one. Then, he blackmails Peter Parker into helping him out at the airport, and Peter shouldn't have been there in the first place. He locks up Team Cap for violating the Accords, but violates them twice in the film, first by bringing in Peter as the Accords won't allow him to bring in an unregistered Enhanced individual, and then by going to Siberia, as it wasn't authorized by anyone. He also outs Clint's family in front of an open channel, and in the final fight, while I was sympathetic to Tony and was even sad for him, he was trying to commit cold-blooded murder. In the beginning, sure it was a crime of passion, but as the fight went on, he got colder, with sentences like "I don't care, he killed my mom." Steve did the right thing by stopping him, and its disturbing how many people think he was right in trying to murder Bucky, who IS innocent of any murders he committed as the Winter Soldier, because he wasn't in control of himself. The Sokovia Accords are unconstitutional- People think the Accords were a good idea and all those who don't support them confuse them with the SRA, but that isn't true, because the Accords are pretty terrible too to the point one would think they came out of North Korea or Nazi Germany. They may not be as bad as the SRA, but they are terrible. First of all, any registered Enhanced/Inhumans have to wear tracking bracelets at all times. This is a clear violation of privacy, and shouldn't even be a thing. AoS shows it is true, and so does IW, where Vision has a tracker inside of him, which he had to shut off to sneak away. And the tracker being in Vision also proves Tony didn't amend the Accords, unlike what people claim. Then, they say that Enhanced can be put into prison if they are just classified as a threat, and they do not give any basis on why to classify them as a threat. So, if an Enhanced person is just trying to live life normally and isn't using their powers for anything, not good or evil, but still is a really powerful person, they will be put in prison? Its unfair and wrong! Then there is the part where they put people in prison without a fair trial. You can claim there is nothing in the movie to support that assertion all you want, but you're just coming off as a moron. Everett literally laughed at Steve's face when he asked if Bucky would get a lawyer or not, and Team Cap were all clearly put in prison without any trial, and they were never gonna get one. A trial, even one for show, would have made this all better. But there was none. Also, are the Accords supporters aware of the UN's track record in real life? By the time they made any kind of decision, they should send the Avengers to wherever they are going with a lot of body bags, because bringing dead bodies is all left to do at that point. MCU governments have shown themselves to be shady- Seriously, governments in the MCU are shady as hell, and do not talk about launching investigations into them, because with their power they can shut those down. Hydra took over SHIELD like a parasite to the point they had to take down SHIELD and Hydra together. The Council was willing to nuke a whole city to stop the Chitauri. Anyone justifying that is a sick person who needs help. Plus, AoS showed that one of the Council Members, Gideon Malick, was a powerful leader in Hydra. Hydra could have easily infiltrated many more governments all over the world. And even counting out Hydra, look at Thaddeus Ross. The man chased Bruce for years to cover up his role in the experiments, and to experiment on Hulk, and still became Secretary of State somehow. Then there is T'Chaka, who is a total hypocrite, as he criticizes Avengers for illegally crossing borders (when an argument can be made that their entrance into Lagos was actually legal, since governments don't usually tell citizens that a dangerous terrorist is on the loose, to avoid panic) but has done it himself in the past for his own agenda, and so has Ross. Then there is Ellen Nadeer, who was willing to kill her own brother because he was an Inhuman. Also, the Vice-President attempted to stage a coup in Iron Man 3, or did people forget that? In IW, Ross was more interested in putting Team Cap behind bars than focusing on Thanos, especially since New York has just been attacked and Tony is MIA, so they should take all the help they can get and talk about imprisoning people later. Shows you exactly where the priorities of MCU governments lie, and they definitely don't lie with the benefit of the general population. Team Iron Man did much more damage than Team Cap- People have claimed Team Cap did much more damage and needed to be stopped, but it is obvious we have seen different movies. The worse Steve did was in Romania, and there I agree that he was reckless and should have handled the situation better, and at the Task Force he and Sharon could have stopped for 2 seconds to explain the situation to Tony and Nat, but counting that out, people are literally over-exaggerating everything Team Cap did. First, there is the ridiculous claim that Bucky destroyed an entire tunnel and killed people, when you clearly see him collapsing only the exit, and no car was close by when the collapse happened. Then there were those cops who threw a grenade into a house, instead of announcing themselves or checking if anyone else was inside other than Bucky, and they fired a MACHINE GUN in a civilian populated area. I'm sorry, but that is just careless. Then there is the airport fight, where people claim that Team Cap did a lot of damage while Team Iron Man was trying to hold back. That's total bullshit. Team Cap did do some bad damage, mainly Scott, and to some extent Cap when he dropped the platform on Peter, which I think was careless. But let's see, Tony once more didn't listen to what Steve was trying to tell him, including his warning of 5 other Winter Soldiers, and was only interested in capturing Team Cap, as he didn't listen and just called up Peter to tie Cap up, at which point he realized there was no choice but to fight. T'Challa was literally trying to kill Bucky the entire time, so that alone disproves the notion that Team Iron Man was holding back. Then Tony and Rhodey were firing missiles at Clint and Wanda, who had no protection from them. When Vision dropped debris to stop Steve and Bucky and Wanda tried to protect them from the debris, Rhodey hit her with a sonic cannon and the debris almost fell on those two. So, was he trying to kill those two or what? But Vision is the worst offender in this case. The guy literally fires a kill shot at Sam, who has no choice but to dodge, and it unfortunately hits Rhodey, who falls down and breaks his back. But guess what? If his beam could damage Rhodey's Arc Reactor, it would have made Sam's jetpack explode and killed him. So the blame for Rhodey's injury lies on Vision, not anyone in Team Cap. Then Tony knocked Sam out when the guy was coming to help Rhodey. Dick move. Tony Stark's fanbase- Now in this case, I'm not referring to all Tony fans, but the worst of them, who unfortunately number more than the sensible fans at this point, at least from my experience. So if any sensible Tony fans read this, this is not about you, but his unreasonable fanatics who live in a different. Anyway, the fanbase is the biggest reason why I have little to no sympathy for Team Iron Man left. His fanbase are just toxic loonies at this point with the disturbing stuff I've seen them put out, and they are also hypocrites, as they literally contradict themselves (and don't acknowledge it, as usual) and ignore and twist canon to justify their side. They claim Wanda joined Hydra on purpose, when the tie-in comics (which ARE canon FYI) confirm that Hydra wasn't public at the time and were posing as SHIELD, and that's what the Maximoff Twins joined. Strucker even claimed to work for SHIELD in the opening of Age of Ultron. Also, Wanda was pretty skeptical about the experiments, it was Pietro who convinced her to volunteer, and even then, Hydra was posing as SHIELD at the time. Those riots the Maximoff Twins took part in were also manipulated by Hydra to get candidates for their experiments. People act like Wanda is Justine Cooper from 'Angel' when she is anything but. Also, the Scepter made the Avengers act OOC when it was in their vicinity for like 10 minutes. Wanda and Pietro were exposed to it for much longer, so it is ridiculous to think it did not affect them much longer, and clearly made them unstable. Then they claim Steve was a jerk to Tony from the moment they met. Have any of these people actually seen the first Avengers movie? Steve was civil to Tony when they first met, and totally neutral. Tony first called Steve 'Capsicle' without any provocation, disrespecting his trauma, and also said behind his back 'Wonder if they should have left him on ice' which is worse than anything Steve said to him in that film, including 'Take off the suit and what are you?' How would Tony feel if he overheard someone saying 'Wonder if they should have left him in the desert in Afghanistan'? The worst Steve said to Tony before the Scepter argument was calling him out for poking Bruce, and he had a valid concern there. Sure Bruce said he could take a poke, but what if he couldn't? Then Tony would have unleashed Hulk simply because he wanted Bruce to let off some steam, and made a mess in the Helicarrier. Then they claim Wanda mind-raped Tony, and I have to face palm, because they clearly don't know what mind rape is. What Tom Riddle to Ginny was mind rape, what Kilgrave did to Jessica was mind rape, what Loki did to Clint and the other agents was mind rape. Wanda simply showed Tony a vision, how he reacted to it is on him. Tony always did have the fear of what he saw in Space (for which he didn't take help, even though he had the time and resources to) and yes, I agree that Wanda's vision brought it to the forefront, but she didn't make him plug unknown alien tech into his machines (like, has Tony ever seen a sci-fi horror film? That's literally the plot of 'The Terminator' movies, except its future tech instead of alien). And Tony repeats that behavior when he tries to make Vision, and you can't claim any kind of mind rape in that scenario. They just got lucky Vision didn't turn out bad like Ultron. Plus, Tony also created EDITH, which is basically his own pocket version of Project Insight, and it shows he hasn't grown from the man who made Ultron. Of course FFH was a mess, and it disrespected Peter and Tony, but the point here stands. So Tony was perfectly capable of creating Ultron on his own, and that is what he did. Then there is the claim that Steve was trying to murder Tony in Siberia, when it is confirmed he was only trying to disable the suit the entire time, and Tony wasn't even close to death. If metal had been pushed into his chest, his eyes would bulge and bleed in that moment and he would die within minutes. And he had the resources to call his own ride after Steve and Bucky left, and if he didn't the bunker had enough resources. If you're gonna claim he can't use those resources, then you are basically making your own idol look like a moron whose IQ has dropped by more than half since the first Iron Man film. The ending of the film even showed Tony was fine with injuries from the Siberia fight. Their bashing of Team Cap, especially Steve and Wanda, is totally ridiculous and based on BS head-canons AT BEST. Like, there is this one Tony stan who claims MCU Wanda should be shot down like a rabid dog, and is an irredeemable monster who is always trying to think of how to kill the Avengers, but they praise Loki to the Heavens, and claim he is a good man after the first Avengers, due to his actions in Thor: The Dark World. Like, Loki didn't do any of those things due to the kindness in his heart, but because he wanted revenge for Frigga. Then he took Odin's place at the movie's end. This stan actually claims Loki rules better than Odin, and had a story where he 'exposed' Wanda to the Avengers, when Ragnarok shows that outside of Asgard, Loki didn't do a thing for any of the other Realms, and even in Asgard he was busy glorifying himself to the Heavens, plus he tried to go back to his old ways many times in Ragnarok before the ending, proving he wasn't a changed man in The Dark World and his redemption only came in Infinity War's opening. And they also claim how Natasha's actions in Winter Soldier got many SHIELD Agents killed, even though the info was encrypted and Fury wouldn't keep private info of the agents where anyone could find it. Plus, if lives of agents were at risk, no way in hell would Fury and Hill agree to Steve's plan. And it also makes the agents look bad at their jobs, and Fury a bad trainer, because I find it ridiculous that Fury wouldn't prepare his agents for such a crisis. And this isn't even the tip of the iceberg when it comes to how stupid Tony's wacko fanbase is. So, Tony's characterization, the Accords' stupidity, the MCU governments' shadiness, Team Iron Man's actions and the wacko fanbase of Tony Stark is why I do not have much sympathy for Team Iron Man left in me, which is sad because I do see some of their points, and outside of Civil War and Homecoming, I love Tony a lot and he is my 4th favorite MCU character, but these issues have cost all of my sympathy. Why I consider Dawn Summers more likeable than Buffy Summers- No, you did not read the title wrong, I really do consider Dawn more likeable than Buffy, bar some of her initial appearances until 'No Place Like Home' and also 'Older and Far Away'. Now I know she's a controversial character to some extent, and people will want to bite my head off for this but eh, really don't care about that, since people want to bite off my head for a lot of stuff, what's one more? Relatability- Now this is more of a personal thing so it applies only to me (and some others perhaps), so this one is just me explaining why I like Dawn more than Buffy for myself, I'm not telling you why you should like Dawn more than Buffy (actually, that's not the purpose of this at all, you liking Buffy or Dawn more is your call, and I respect that). Basically, I find her relatable- not in the sense of 'I am a ball of energy who is now a teenage girl with fake memories of her life'. First of, I'm not a teenage girl, I never was, I was a teenage boy, and I'm not a ball of energy with fake memories of my life (if I am, I am unaware so far). When I first saw the show, I was in a bad place in my life, and I was 15 then, so I was closer in age to Dawn than Buffy. Now sure Season 1 Buffy was one year older than me, but she was the Slayer, a superhero, etc. At that time I could relate more to Xander than her, since I too have been unlucky in my love life (I didn't behave possessive like Season 1-2 Xander though, not a bash against Xander, just a flaw he had in the first 2 Seasons), but by Season 5, he was decently successful with a job and all that, and he had Anya. Enter Dawn, seeing a teenager acting big and brave before being shown where she actually stands, I've been there, it happens, and so I find that relatable. And later in the show she even contributes, gives good suggestions, etc. but is underappreciated, I've been there too. She feels left out among Potentials due to not having similar talents, so did I once, and considered myself inferior too. In Season 6, she feels lonely and lashes out, I was really depressed when I was 15 and I lashed out similarly (still suffer from depression, but not as bad as before), and I felt bad for it, I'm sure she did too. When I write Buffyverse fanfiction, she is the easiest for me to write because she is like me in many respects, I relate to her, so I can write her really well, better than I can write certain other characters in the franchise. Worst moments- Now obviously, many hate Dawn because of her worst moments but I find most of them understandable. In 5x2, I won't deny she was an idiot to invite in Harmony and then ran out of the house, where Anya paid the price, but really, I find it more annoying than something hateful. Plus, Buffy's reaction, while justified, felt quite OTT to the point it was eye-roll worthy. Then there's taking credit for breakfast, sure it was annoying, but many siblings do that, it's a sibling thing. Then getting mad in 5x13, well, how would you react if you found you were a big ball of energy and all your memories are fake? She had a mental breakdown, and she had every reason to have one. Then 5x17, now yeah, she was being reckless here, but she was emotional, she lost her mom, there was no wrong or right in this episode. Buffy shutting down and trying to carry on is perfectly understandable, and so is Dawn wanting to connect to Buffy and feeling angry when she feels Buffy is pushing her away. Then we have Season 6, but let's see- while I did have sympathy for Buffy, considering she was pulled out of Heaven, it doesn't justify treating people badly, especially not Dawn who wasn't even involved in the ritual. Buffy constantly ignores Dawn, in 6x11 she was having fun being invisible and pulling a prank on the social worker, if she cares this much about Dawn she should have remembered when the worker is coming and make her house look livable for a teenager. Then in 6x13 Buffy wanted to go to prison to escape her life, so Dawn had every right to be angry. In 6x14, I'll admit there she went too far with her behavior for sure, her feelings were understandable, but that was one time she went too far even for me, but sad thing is, even Dawn behaving like that wasn't enough to make Buffy see sense, since in next episode she behaves the same and even has toxic sex with Spike while buying a meal for her sister, not okay. In 6x17 she feels angry that she isn't in Buffy's other life and I can admit it sounded a bit unreasonable, but considering how Buffy has been treating her in the Season so far, can't say I blame her. Based on how Buffy was in Season 6, I can say with absolute certainty that Willow (when she is not spiraling that) and Tara (especially Tara) are infinitely better guardians for Dawn than Buffy is. And finally 7x19 where everyone kicks Buffy out and she says 'It's my house too'. Now I can admit that the line was stupid and bratty, but they were right to kick Buffy out at that point. She made a stupid plan which got many Potentials killed, and her plan was to literally do the exact same thing again based on a hunch (sure she turned out to be right, but what if she wasn't?). So yeah, the line from Dawn was annoying, and I even got Buffy's side in that argument, but can't say she didn't deserve to be kicked out at that point, though the way the others did it did piss me off, since Anya went on to attack Buffy personally. That was a horribly made scene in general though. Others have done way worse- And really, other characters have done a lot worse than Dawn has- Buffy in 6x17 was perfectly willing to murder her own sister and friends because she wanted to live in a hallucination where she's in an asylum because mommy and daddy are alive, and almost went through with it. She wasn't under mind control, she hadn't lost her soul (like Angel and Spike) and she wasn't mentally unstable (like Faith in Buffy Season 3 or Willow during her addiction and later 'Dark Willow'), she was perfectly in control, and she made that choice. Then Willow violated Tara and got high on magic, and Dark Willow too later, though there she was unstable because the love of her life was shot dead, and absorbing Giles' magic only made her crazier. For Xander, he ditched Anya at the altar, and 2 episodes later tried to kill Spike for sleeping with her and was so judgmental even though he has no right now. For Giles, he left in Season 6 in spite of knowing Willow was spiraling, and instead of helping her, which he could due to his own experience with magic addiction, he just left, and let's not forget he ignored the threat of an Old One just because he didn't like Team Angel working for Wolfram and Hart. Even Anya was a Vengeance Demon, horrible one, and it did bad shit before, and even when she is with Xander, she says some insensitive stuff. Now sure it can be due to not being able to connect and being different, and its funny too I'll admit, but some stuff she says is a lot worse than anything Dawn has ever said. The worst Dawn did was 6x14, and compared to any of this, its really nothing. Didn't mention Tara here because her worst was 5x6 and it was done due to fear, and its nothing compared to the rest. Praise Tara, she's the best! And really, I consider Season 7 Dawn to be more heroic than Buffy in the final 2 Seasons. Now I don't hate the other characters, I love them all (only characters in Buffyverse I hate are- Kennedy, Warren, Andrew, Riley, Robin, Kate, Rona, Connor in Angel Season 4 and Giles after Buffy Season 5, though its more dislike rather than hate in Giles' case, and only turned to hate in Angel Season 5), but Dawn being vilified just for breathing while others like Buffy and Xander get excused is just something that really irks me. Because I've seen many people making excuses for literally everything Buffy or Xander do, but Dawn gets hated on for mild stuff in comparison. I love Buffy, I love Xander, I love Willow, I love Giles (until Buffy Season 5), I love Anya AND I also love Dawn, she's amazing. All of them are. And so this is why I consider Dawn more likeable than Buffy, its not a right or wrong opinion, just my opinion. |
