Author has written 17 stories for ElfQuest, X-Men, Marvel, X-Men: The Movie, X-Men: Evolution, FAKE, and Gundam Wing/AC.
Hello. I used to be known as Fata Morgana, but that was something that came out of nowhere during my more pretentious age, and meant nothing, so I changed it.
I have removed a number of my stories, namely Hi, meet my best friend (X-Men: Evolution. Kitty takes Kurt home to meet her family. Friendship fic), The STUNning Lynx (X-Men: Evolution. Sequel to A Snake in Paradise , also removed), Kurtty (X-Men: Evolution. Mocking Kurtty fics, removed because it was a scriptfic), Sister Dear ( X-Men: Evo, removed because I hadn't seen the show when I wrote it, and that's a really, really bad idea), Voice in my Head (X-Men, removed because it wasn't going to get finished) and A New Jedi (Star Wars. Techinically first in a trilogy, featuring an original character named Nian-Yen Cerr Samyeh). These stories are still somewhere on my hard-disc or on floppy discs, and I could find them for you if you're really interested. Think of it less as burning books and more as letting them go out of print. They're only an e-mail away. However, the lot of them (except Kurtty) were removed because they either needed heavy revising, or they quite frankly stunk, and I didn't want to clutter up space with crap.
I hate character bashing with a passion. I consider it poor writing by default. If someone has to resort to bashing a character, it's a sign to me that they don't have the skill to treat the characters properly and have to twist them to fit the story. Related to this, I can't stand fanon characterisation. It's all too often simplistic and more shallow than canon characterisation. (Gundam Wing, I'm looking at you.)
I have fallen solidly out of love with anything X-Men related the past few years, and will not write anything more for it in the foreseeable future.
Most of my GW stuff is posted on LJ, but I'm slowly transferring it over here.
You people who read what I write should be grateful I do not write everything I think - or publish everything I write.
