As a person, I'm best described as a pile of contradictions. I'm a techno geek who lives off grid in the Canadian wilderness. I'm into photography, motorcycle touring and trying exciting new foods. Currently life is tossing some '80s flashbacks at me, which has me revisiting my favourite TV shows from that era (yes, I'm old enough to remember them). Fan fiction seems a rather fun place to channel those energies.

As a writer, I've done very little work since my school days, and what I have written has been mostly philosophy or social commentary. Survivors is a whole bunch of firsts: first fiction since school, first fan fiction, first piece longer than a few pages...
