What's up people, Phengophobic Gamer here. I started this profile to write a story that kinda pops into my head from time to time, which is really just an AU of RWBY, an amazing show produced by Rooster Teeth. If you don't know what RWBY is, I highly recommend you watch it. The animation can be a bit awkward at times, but overall, it is good quality, and getting better.

I am really fond of the story, and the universe as well, which is why I came up with this idea. It's all based off of one theory I came up with a while ago, and it's one I do quite like.

6/19/16: Hey so I haven't done one of these in a while. Just wanted to let you all know I updated Chapter 2 of VNS Arc as it was supposed to have been changed back in October but seemingly never was I also added an update there which I will paraphrase here. In celebration of 1,000 views on VNS Arc, I have about half a chapter that will be ready and hopefully up within a week or so. I'll also be back working on the Simple Soul reboot an get the first chapter out within a month or two.

I'll also be at RTX this year, and I'll have a 'My Name Is' badge on me with my username, so feel free to say hi if you see me. I should also be at the r/RWBY subreddit meetup whenever that will be. I'm assuming for now it will be right after the RWBY panel on Friday, but that's just a guess. I'll check to see if there's a discussion for it already and if not start one, hopefully ironing out when the meetup will be there. Worst case scenario, I'll butcher an imgur link to a selfie or something (even though I hate them, I'll do it for you guys) So I hope to see you there. Hopefully getting praise or criticism in person will light a fire under my ass to write much more often.

8/26/15: So haven't really done an update in a while but figured one was kinda due. I haven't been writing much lately for one major reason: I can't really think up anything to do I the fics. I have a kinda decent idea for the next two or so chapters of VNS Arc but that's about it. I haven't been very good about coming up with original plots, really. The original master plan for Cinder in A Simple Soul was for her to attempt to destroy the moon with a giant "LASER" which was a plan in Austin Powers. I have no real plan for either the reboot or the Star Citizen crossover. The plot for VNS Arc is kinda a mix of two things which I will only give hints to: one is a Michael Bay TV show, the other is a movie that I'm surprised was not a Michael Bay film. Now if you know anything about Navy movies, you probably know what I'm talking about. I really only planed to convert an amalgamated plot into the RWBY-verse, which when done right, I have no problem with. The only problem is I really don't know what I'm doing. For the time being, I am placing my fics on hiatus. I will continue to write for them when I come up with something, (and release when I feel it's an adequate chapter) but I really don't have the mindset to just sit down for a few hours and plot out everything. I mostly jot stuff down as it comes to me (almost exclusively at work) and go from there.

4/21/15: So I noticed a few discrepancies after reading over the first chapter of VNS Arc again, which I have fixed. I've been lax in my writing lately, but am trying to get myself back into it. I am still character/world building for my OC story, which will be combined with the Simple Soul reboot to save some time and resources. Work has been kicking my ass lately, as has not having a working GPU to play GTA in the little down time I get. As I sent my computer to a professional to get fixed, I have nothing to do with my free time, and am planning to work on my writing abit more. I still only have Cole completely fleshed out, but his teammates are coming along. Each have a reference guideline, where they are centered around a certain mythology, as well as a mythological creature often attributed to said mythology, as well as a character from the same mythology. I have all mythologies and creatures decided upon, but am having a little trouble coming up with characters for each. They are only going to be loosely connected to characters, ranging from in-jokes based on said character to similar/symmetrical personalities.

3/2/15: Due to my scrubishness, I missed that a few people actually want me to continue writing A Simple Soul. I've missed this fact for two months. /sigh

Anyway, I have decided to reboot it with the help of Mjola of Penn, my shiny new beta (rubs shine into MJ's forehead). It'll take awhile before either it or my OC fic are ready, but in the mean time, I have a few chapters of the crossover fic ready(ish) to release soon(ish). It'll primarily be a 'I'm bored and have no good ideas/blocked on Simple Soul/OC fic' type of story, so no real regular updates. Don't forget to let me know what you think, though.

1/1/15: I decided to scrap my main FanFic, A Simple Soul. I plan to work on a more OC centric fic with less characters per chapter, as it seems that was one major flaw of my writing before. I've got Cole, and have an idea for his partner, but I need to come up with the majority of his teammate's stories/abilities. I will continue writing small stuff for MonCon over on the /r/RWBY subreddit when I get an idea for one. My deathfic is probably getting scrapped too, but I'm actually decent at killing off characters, so I'll not scrap it just yet, just lower it's priority. As it is, I have a Shakespeare class that will likely take up much of my time, especially in conjuncture with the /r/RWBY Podcast.
