![]() Author has written 57 stories for Harry Potter, Fullmetal Alchemist, Doctor Who, Frankenstein, Danny Phantom, Big Hero 6, Teen Titans, Wander over Yonder, Hunter X Hunter, My Hero Academia/僕のヒーローアカデミア, One Piece, Misc. Anime/Manga, Sword Art Online/ソードアート・オンライン, Code Geass, and 07-Ghost. Heyo. This fanfic profile is the fruit of many years of being on here. You may see I have a lot of stories; many of them are old and the fruits of my turmoil when I was younger. The more upwards you go in recency, the better quality the stories would likely be. Currently, my main story is A Kitten In A World Of Heroes (AKIWOH), where Killua from Hunter x Hunter lands up in the MHA world and consequences abound. Other updating stories (in order of most-likely-to-update-ness): 1. Flailing to Fly - Bakugo Katsuki ends up in the world of One Piece, falling from the sky and into the ocean during the kickoff of the Alabasta arc INTERESTING PERSONAL DETAILS please read/watch all of these favorite things because they are very good Favorite Books: Omniscent Reader (webnovel) - this touched at the core of what it meant to be a reader and a writer The Egyptian by Mika Waltari - this is probably one of the most personally influential books I've read. I think we would all be much wiser if we all read and understood a book such as this. Funnily enough, it can also be a book that contributed to my existence in this world; I might've not been born without it. Assassin's Apprentice by Robin Hobb - This is merely the first book, but the entirety of Robin Hobb's books should be listed as my favorite. They are so incredibly... Hah, I can't even describe it without shouting at the characters in my mind. It is the kind of book and world you get immersed in. Even without turning the pages again or remembering every detail, I still harbor a lot of feeling for the characters, whether it be frustration, hate, love, fondness, or a sense of perplexity and caution yet sweetness. Her books are that human, I think, and she possesses a deep understanding of people, and also of magic. Rhythym of War by Brandon Sanderson - Brandon Sanderson, the best dude. Way of Kings starts the series but I have to update my favorite to Rhythym of War. It was that good. His worldbuilding is impeccable and more than that – simply awesome. Dawn of Wonder by Jonathan Renshaw - a simply beautiful book, that carries a spirit of wonder and adventure. I learned a lot from it too, seeing Aeden's very real and deep personal struggle as he is forced to overcome a person who has become a monster in his head. Yet, he is also a clever boy, who carries a lot of heart and talent... it is a good book, and I hope for the next books to come soon. Favorite Animes: FMA, Erased, Mob Psycho 100, One Piece, 07-Ghost, Samurai Champloo, HUNTER X HUNTER My Hero Academia recently got added to the list, new shit's crazy My Teen Romantic Comedy is All Wrong, As I Expected - I highly recommend it, it's very good and taught me a lot of things. It's a... surprisingly deep anime and at least for me when I got further down into it it turned kind of hard, but it really resolved itself and trundled through to do it without pulling the punches or coming up with neat solutions and I really admire that. I don't want to say much more than that, except that it's good and you'd probably learn something good from watching it. Status: 8/25/2023: I'm just alive and roaming. 4/13/2022: AKIWOH pt2 is finished! The first post will be on this Friday, April 15th. Updates will be weekly on Fridays after that. :) The documents for beta readers will also still be open all the way until we get to the epilogue - it's essentially an early access model. 3/13/2022: AKIWOH update. I’m now working on Chapter 21 of Part 2, which means there are about 15 more chapters since the last update. You can see I’ve been hard at work! Not sure how many chapters are left to go, but we’re getting close to the end. Still accepting beta readers, also—PM me! 2/6/2022: I am now graduated and freed into the greater world. My mind is now oft occupied with the struggles for money as I now forge my own path. Some progress has been further made for AKIWOH pt2, but still please expect some months before I start releasing. You can PM me though if you want to see the next unfinalized chapters early and be a beta reader (which would just be dropping your comments and thoughts on my gdoc, no hard work required but feel free to go as far as you’d like). There are about four more near-ready chapters beyond what is currently published and about five very rough chapters after that, with maybe 5-10 more chapters left unwritten for the part. 9/28/21: I'm alive, and am working on AKIWOH pt2 a bit. Revision will be delayed... for probably at least a year or something, maybe multiple. It's been busy. Not sure when I'll start releasing the pt2 chapters (see AKIWOH last A/N for more info). 5/14/21: Finished with finals, wrapping things up. Planning to head out on the Appalachian Trail soon, upon which I'll go dark for a month. Just working on final tidbits and trying to get some chapters out before then too. I recently also watched My Teen Romantic Comedy is All Wrong, As I Expected, which was great. 4/26/21: In the throes of finals, doing my best to relax and live life still. Good luck to any fellow students out there facing the beast. 1/17/21: Discovered the FFnet app. It actually really looks good, and I have to admire the devs for the work they put into it. There's some problem with PM syncronization between the app and the website, but I'm at least happy to now be able to make edits to my story on my phone. Story-status wise, AKIWOH is progressing and the next chapter should be out in a little bit. I've mostly been working on chapters that occur much later in Part 2, so it'll be a while before you see the entirety of what I've been working on recently. :) But hopefully you guys will enjoy the story unfolding, I've been having a lot of fun writing it and have found ways for important things to be said. 1/12/21: Tired. Happy it's 2021. Also very bad at responding currently. 10/11/20: Discovered FictionPress (I have the same profile name on there). I'll probably be hanging around there a bit. 9/?/20: "Writer's block is like having constipation. The more effort you put in, the less it wants to come out." - currently me Occupation: I am a programmer by day. That is, I can sit at the computer working day and night for a week straight until my bottom side aches and I grow a crick in my neck while my eyes remain hyperfocused on the screen and my daydreams become programs too and I wake up in the middle of the night thinking about a solution to a problem I was debugging. I can do that with writing too, though not quite with the same intensity. :):) Writing typically fills my thoughts when I'm on hour-long car drives. I don't think the two are very dissimilar -- writing Python or writing English, what's the difference other than the language and intent? By night... my night job is... who I am at night... who knows? It's nothing official. I think by night, I'm a writer, and that's it. A wise quote "I no longer have patience for certain things, not because I’ve become arrogant, but simply because I reached a point in my life where I do not want to waste more time with what displeases me or hurts me. I have no patience for cynicism, excessive criticism and demands of any nature. I lost the will to please those who do not like me, to love those who do not love me and to smile at those who do not want to smile at me. I no longer spend a single minute on those who lie or want to manipulate. I decided not to coexist anymore with pretense, hypocrisy, dishonesty and cheap praise. I do not tolerate selective erudition nor academic arrogance. I do not adjust either to popular gossiping. I hate conflict and comparisons. I believe in a world of opposites and that’s why I avoid people with rigid and inflexible personalities. In friendship I dislike the lack of loyalty and betrayal. I do not get along with those who do not know how to give a compliment or a word of encouragement. Exaggerations bore me and I have difficulty accepting those who do not like animals. And on top of everything I have no patience for anyone who does not deserve my patience." ~José Micard Teixeira This, I think, something that often happens as we grow older and can perhaps do well to realize when we are younger too, if we feel such intolerance. It is a choice for what you spend time and energy on, real commodities of the soul -- though I must qualify, that this strictness of personal boundary does not necessarily come at the cost of empathy. Sparkle #3. My favorite quote “I have found that it is the small everyday deed of ordinary folks that keep the darkness at bay. Small acts of kindness and love." ~ Gandalf NOTE TO MY READERS First of all, I’ll say: please review! Even a small thought, or word, or gesture, can mean a lot and make it feel like a story is listened to. Especially in a time of COVID and isolation, I found writing to be, funnily enough, one of my best ways to actually connect to the outside world, because of the responses I got. I post stories both to share, and to connect, and connecting means hearing the voices speaking in response to these words that have bubbled out of me with care, and deliberation. I’m sure many other authors also feel the same way. Second of all, it’s OK if you don’t like a story. Just like not liking salmon, or some other food you really hate, we all have our own preferences. And thirdly, finally, and most importantly, live your life well. NOTE TO OTHER AUTHORS Brandon Sanderson's free lecture series on YouTube is very worth a watch. Even his first introductory lecture is very keen and full of many important and realistic writing wisdoms – from the perspective of a real, successful author who still loves his stories even after becoming a success. In case you don't know who Brandon Sanderson is, he's the hot stuff in high fantasy in these days and he deserves the title. He's also a real swell dude who's addicted to writing – or at least, I can earnestly say he has a real love and dedication to writing. You can learn a lot from him, whether by reading his books or watching the lecture series – but if it's writing you're concerned about right now, it's the lecture series you're after. *salute* Also Hello Future Me on youtube is great.
