Author has written 18 stories for Dragon Ball Z, Inuyasha, Twilight, and Naruto.
Right, first things first, as much as many of my old readers probably think at this point this account is not dead despite its rather lengthy dormant stage. All my stories on here currently are at this point to be unfinished, and if I have them backed up on my computer may be removed. Its not that they weren't good stories its just that I have found I have permanent writer's block with them and no longer feel I would be giving them my absolute best if I pushed them through. So I have decided that no matter what, any story that is posted here from now on will always be at least 75% of the way done, guaranteed. At this point I am currently writing, and though I have several drafts stored on my hard drive only one is my main priority.
Fanfiction is not my life nor even a huge priority in it, it is instead a fun way to excercise my skills when I feel the urge. It is a fancy I like to indulge in whenever I get a whim. So therefore stories will be much slower appearing than they were in the past. I don't necessarily believe this to be a bad thing, this way I can promise you a finished story, not one that you get a glimpse of before it disappears into the Fanfiction universe, never to be heard from or seen again. I hate letting my dear little plots die, but it is the way of the writing world, only the strong may survive.
As some of you may know, I am getting rather old for this world, many of the authors of my day have long since disappeared, the greats that I read when I was first starting out are all but forgotten. Do I know when I will finally retire from this world? No not really. I may not still for another ten years, but I can definitely tell that amongst my peers on here I am one of the oldest (writing authors, not reading, I really can't tell on that).
Second off then, I would like to proclaim that I am in fact a wolf-girl, though I did not start out that way. Back when Twilight first appeared I was in love with Edward as much as the next girl, but that was also probably six years ago, and things have changed as they often do. First I believe that most girls out there would rather curl up with a pliable and warm man than one that was stiff as a stone and cold as a fridge. I know me personally the coldness and statue like qualities would be slightly off putting. Second the vampires (or at least the majority of the Cullens) are far too rich and proper for my liking. Their house sounds sterile and new age, not comforting and warm. When I think of a home not everything is brand new, it doesn't look like something in a magazine, things are worn and used and full of life. Those are just some of my reasons and I do believe its a preference between my taste and others, perhaps it is my country roots that steer me towards ones I would find more common ground with. But I do believe heartedly that the Cullens represent the bad boy or at least the man our momma's warned us about that we all secretly wanted at one point or another. Especially Edward, he is the one we have fun with, but not the one we bring home.
And finally before I end this rather lengthy rant about almost absolutely nothing at all, I would like to point out if no one noticed above, I do not like the Twilight series but I do like some of the characters. Bella started off much more likeable in the beginning of this tale than how she ended up in Breaking Dawn (don't even get me started on that book). I believe her character instead of blossoming ended up wilting away, which is truly quite sad. I also believe that this series reinforces the fact that the good boy always loses, a cliché that I try (and hopefully succeed) to fight against in my fics. I have no problem with them going through some rough times, heck that is life, but I believe that in the end things should always work out in their favor.
One more note and then I will bid you all adieu. My stories will always be rated M whether they truly are or not. Because of my experience on this site (and I understand why they are this strict) it is better safe than sorry. I never really truly know what twists my tales will take so I would rather make sure my t's are truly crossed and my i's properly dotted. So far I have been lucky enough to have only one of my fics deleted, which I can only assume must have been a mistake on my part. I guess when I uploaded my story I forgot to change the rating and never really looked after. On the Other Side of the Moon was reported and taken down and if it truly had been rated lower than M I do not blame this site for doing so, that tale (mainly for its language) in no way was meant for children. So I do hope whoever reported it sees this and knows how truly sorry I am and that I do hope no one was offended. It was a mistake on my part and one that I will endeavor to double check in the future.
Well that is all my chickadees, until the next time.
