Author has written 3 stories for Harry Potter.
Hi, this is my second attempt at an account. My first was deleted with no warning, and for no discernible reason. Still, try, try, try again!
I'm not on drugs, I just consume too much chocolate.
Pittsy introduced me to both Harry Potter and fanfiction, and has now decided she has created a monster.
I am NOT traumatising!
(I refuse to accept any bills for therapy)
I'm 21, so I'm legal for most things in England that are any fun. Whooohoo!
I like slash, I read slash, I write slash. Deal. (Or go drown yourself in rat urine, it's all the same to me.)
"Pulls a sword out of a place they shouldn't be able to." sounds so very, very naughty.
I like Xmen evolution as well. And Terry Pratchett books.
I'm not just a HP addict.
I almost have a social life.
Blood is the prettiest shade of red.
is very informative. I don't plan to take over the world, just support my friend in her plans.
How's this for a cool comp rule: 'If your blinky, flashy images make the judge's brain explode, you will definitely not win. We'll need to find a new judge at that point and it's all your fault.'
Some of my favourite quotes, from
When you walk to the edge of all the light you have, and you take that first step into the unknown, believe one of two things will happen : There will be something solid for you to stand upon, or you will be taught how to fly. (anon)
If you know the point of balance
You can settle the details.
If you can settle the details
You can stop running around.
If you can stop running around
Your mind will become calm.
If your mind becomes calm
You can think in front of a tiger.
If you can think in front of a tiger
You will surely succeed. (Mencius)
Doubt is an uncomfortable condition,
but certainty is a ridiculous one. (Voltaire)
I walk through the garden of truth, sniggering all the way. (Voltaire)
The dead do not walk backwards but they do walk behind us.
They have no lungs and cannot call out but would love for us to turn around.
They are victims of love, many of them. (Anne Carson)
A woman who sacrifices her life for her children
does them no favours,
for she burdens them with a life unlived. (Rainer Maria Rilke)
I particularly like that last one, mainly because it fits the situation in Harry Potter so well. A suvivor is left with not only their life, but with the guilt of that life.
Utinam barbari spatium proprium tuum invadant. May bararians invade your personal space.
Utinam logica falsa tuam philosohiam totam suffodiant. May faulty logic undermine your entire philosophy.
Non cogito nimin ergo non sim. I don't think much, therefore I might not be.
Minutus cantorum, minutus balorum, minutus carborata descendum pantorum. A little song, a little dance, a little seltzer down your pants.
((Old stories will be gradually re-uploaded. New stories will be uploaded if and when they are finished and typed up. I've just started at uni, holding your breath will only get you a blue face. Due to over/underwhelming ideas, new stories are few and far between. I don't update regularly.))
30/11: Update! An update! The world is ending!
