I like overused tropes.

My stories are written by only myself and without a beta.

I'm a big proponent for health and socialising. The effort it takes to craft your body into something more respectable is admirable to me. I used to be a personal trainer and enjoyed when clients made their first steps into a healthier lifestyle. I also encourage doing what many people consider being difficult, to make first steps into forming bonds and relationships with people, be it a long-term partner or a good friend. The internet for all the good it's capable of, is also a poison that can ruin your mind. As with all things, a balance is necessary to ensure that your reality doesn't suffer from excessive escapism.

If you have questions for me about my stories, I'm usually contactable through Discord or Reddit. I don't like Reddit but it does provide an easy way for people to ask questions since I don't usually sign-in here unless it's to post a new chapter or story.

People who complain about non-canon compliant content in... fanfiction:

If you're on this website, then you've probably already been exposed to people taking liberties with canon material in their works. Don't come here expecting things to be the same and then proceed to complain that things have diverged from your preconceptions of characters, events and settings. If you see something unusual, maybe have a think about it before jumping to conclusions. If you click on a story that blatantly says in its description that it's going to be different, and you wonder why it's different, that's on you. Not the authors that write these stories.

Go read something else if you're just gonna bitch about it. Writing is one of my hobbies, not my job, and I'll do it my own way and at my leisure. I appreciate reviews, but not ones complaining about something so unbelievably obvious that it really shouldn't need to be said that you're gonna run into stuff that you don't agree with, is different, or don't like outright.

Pointing out mistakes is one thing. Presuming something is a mistake and that it must be changed without the acknowledgement of the greater context of the story and being unable to make personal inferences as to the meanings on how things are written and done is another. If you are unable to cope with a story being different to canon, not only in characters but the lore and functional nature of its systems, Fanfiction is the worst possible domain for you to be involved with.

Vortex is not abandoned, but my interest in writing does shift occasionally.

I've been posting a new story titled 'Within Your Means', which is my attempt at tackling the 'early training' trope. I have enjoyed writing it a bit more than I have Vortex so far, but that does not mean I will be abandoning Vortex. I'm a little disappointed that it hasn't picked up the same traction that Crafting a Legacy did but that's to be expected. People do enjoy Uchiha stories.

Unsolicited Artists/Scams

Stop sending me stuff like "I'm an artist who's willing to do cheap commission for your work", if it's not free then I'm not interested. You'll just get blocked for polluting my inbox. I don't know why there are so many of you so sudden but you're in a domain in which things are already free and people have taken liberty with source content for decades now. I would honestly not be surprised if AI is the replacement for such artists for websites like this. Saying 'support artists' is all well and good but people who don't have money to begin with are not going to be picky with the source of their art.
