Three years after the horror at the south pole, Azula is going mad in an asylum while Sokka's star is rising in the Fire Nation, that is until a calamity brings a frayed Team Avatar back together for an adventure they are ill-prepared for. A sequel to Airship Down and the Mountains of Madness.

The people around Hiccup begin to realize that not all his wounds can be fixed by a trip to the forge, and his metal leg is the least crippled thing about him. Vikings and Dragons aren't known for delicacy, but they do their best to right past wrongs and heal scars.

People often wondered what kept Hiccup going during those early years. When that single, most-treasured thing is taken from him, there is little left to keep him on Berk. The day Stoick returns, and the day before the best recruit is finally chosen, Hiccup leaves Berk; little knowing that he would one day return under ... strange circumstances. Sokka, wanting to hit the Fire Nation back for what they did to Aang at Ba Sing Se, takes down one of their prototype airships over the south pole. Problem is he takes himself down with it, and finds himself stranded in the middle of a frozen wasteland with his least favorite person, Princess Azula. Starvation and cold eventually become the least of their worries.

How does one propose to the woman he loves? Certainly not the boring, traditional way. Hiccup's got a plan up his sleeve that will begin a tradition of special proposals for years to come.

What would it take to realistically get Hiccup away from Astrid and into someone else's arms? If that someone-else washed ashore in the middle of the movie, instead of later during the CN series, things might have turned out very differently. I wrote this because several people requested it.
