Author has written 62 stories for Crossing Jordan, and Bones.
I am a high school principal at a private school and teach upper level sciences (advanced chemistry and physics) and advanced language arts. That's my job. What I really am is a frustrated novelist who really, really wants to be a full-time writer.
Let's see...what else is interesting about me...I have three kids...Callie, Meg, and Matt. The girls are in college and share an apartment. Matt lives with me. We have a 26-acre farm, although we only live on four of the acres. The bull gets the back 22. His name is T-bone. Guess what's in his future...can you say "freezer?" We also have three hens, three roosters, a hamster, a five-foot iguana (Dr. Spock), a Jack Russell terrier, and four cats. And a Beta fish.
Proudest Accomplishment: Callie, Meg, and Matt
Latest Accomplishment: Just got my PhD and have had three grammar curriculums published and have been signed for four study guides in American Literature (see where the frustrated novelist comes in?)
Current Hobby: Ballroom dancing. Most fun you can have with your clothes on. Trust me.
Favorite TV shows: Crossing Jordan, Crossing Jordan, Crossing Jordan. Law and Order (the mothership).
Favorite Book: The Scarlet Letter -- I love teaching this one! Oh the melodrama...
Where I'm At: Greensboro, NC
Favorite Quote: I have superpowers and resisting them will only make you weaker (CJ).
Personal stuff: Natural blonde, blue eyes, 5'4", 140 pounds. My favorite beverage is coffee. My favorite food is pasta...although chocolate is always good. I drive a jeep. My favorite group is the Eagles. My favorite actress is Jill Hennessey. My favorite actor is well...there's a lot of those. Harrison Ford. George Clooney. Russell Crowe. Jerry O' Connell. The list goes on.
What you may find unusual about me: To be an English teacher, I am really a poor speller. And I can belly dance.
