I'm just going to come out and say this bluntly: I'm quitting Fanfiction.

Yes I know, cry and scream, but I've actually been thinking about doing this for a long time now. I know that there's so many people who really loved what I did and I honestly can't repay all the people who watched me grow on this site as a person and as a writer. You all shaped me into who I am today and I can't thank you enough for giving me your kindness and advice when I needed it the most to turn me into the writer I am right now.

I just honestly lost all motivation for Fanfiction. That doesn't mean I don't like reading it, but writing it has honestly been more of a chore rather than something I genuinely love doing. I actually ended up dreading having to update stories and I didn't want to put out shitty chapters so that's why updates tended to stretch out longer than they should have, along with school being a complete bitch.

I just feel like I've grown out of writing Fanfiction and I just want to write my own original stories and novels (I'm working on one right now) instead and use my time for that. I don't want to constantly force myself to write things I don't want to write anymore, so I'm done.

It was fun at first to write for all my favorite shows back when I was twelve, but now that I'm older, I just want to move on from Candykaykay2001 and Fanfiction in general and grow as a writer even more. I felt like this was holding me back from what I wanted to do and it just wasn't fun anymore.

These past two years have been the best. Fanfiction became an escape when I had none and a savior when my life was going straight to hell and back. It became something that helped me better my writing, because Lord knows it completely sucked back then, and I made so many friends on here. But it's time for me to move on to bigger and better things. That doesn't mean I won't read Fanfiction or review from time to time, but I won't be updating anything or writing anything in the near future. So if it makes you feel better, I'm not completely gone.

As for my profile and stories, my profile will become an archive for all the stories I've written. All completed stories will stay on here for everyone to enjoy (because I'm not that much of a douche to delete them) and all incomplete stories are discontinued, but up for adoption if anyone wants them. I would appreciate if you could contact me if you plan on adopting one of them along with saying I was the original author after I let you take over and you publish your version.

I will also keep up with my community Diodeshipping For Life, so you can't take that one, but my stories are pretty much free reign.
