![]() Author has written 116 stories for Harry Potter, Charmed, Andromeda, Inuyasha, Gilmore Girls, NCIS, JAG, Law and Order: CI, House, M.D., Medical Investigation, Stargate: SG-1, Cold Case, Crossing Jordan, CSI: Miami, Stargate: Atlantis, CSI, Bones, CSI: New York, Pride and Prejudice, Battlestar Galactica: 2003, Tin Man, Chronicles of Narnia, Flashpoint, King Arthur, Prince of Persia, Haven, and Sherlock. It's a little odd. The story I'm proudest of is also probably the most depressing thing I've ever written... Still! Whoo hoo! One hundred stories! Course, that's a bunch of one shots, but... still. IMPORTANT! For all those waiting for To Sir, With Love, I'm posting that as completed for now. The reason being, as you know if you read the story, it was plagiarized a few years back. I wrote a quick chapter as a thank you for the one who pointed it out, but I just haven't been able to bring myself to write anything for it since. I'm sorry somebody's stupid and mean actions have caused you any disappointment (though maybe I flatter myself?) and I hope you'll understand. Please let me know if anyone has any interest in continuing for me. ... er... anyone but the chick who stole it in the first place, please. Note on the long stories: I suck at plots, so these are on hold. I'm currently rewriting The Weapon Within, but I don't expect to post it until I've finished a rough draft. The rest of them will all eventually get the same treatment or be taken down. Sorry. I am, obviously, still writing one-shots. And two-shots, and alphabet series. Thanks to all of you who continue to read, and if you have an idea for the sequel to any of my short stories, or a way to finish the long ones, PLEASE let me know, because who knows, maybe you can write it, or we can do it together, or I can take your idea and run with it. I'm open to suggestion. So, about me. I'm a college student currently living 24 degrees latitude south of home. Which means it's really warm here. I try to write, but I get busy because this darn school actually expects me to write things for them, too. Can you believe it? I know. I was shocked. Long story short, that means I don't always update when you'd like me to. Which, as I know, because I read fanfic too, is immediately. Nobody wants to have to wait, sorry. I cannot reiterate enough that if you have an idea about how to end one of my long stories, let me know. Because the reason I stop writing them is because I lose my train of thought and have no clue where to go with it. PM me, please. I write for a variety of shows, including the CSIs, various SciFi shows (BSG is the best space drama ever, but Stargate still rules), and a smattering of other things. I write for fictionpress.com as well, under the penname lostinalaska. If you visit my stuff there, let me know you found me. I spend my free time memorizing depressingly beautiful WWI poetry (E. A. MacKintosh was a brilliant poet, look him up), and pining for romantic relationships between my favorite characters. I'm a hopeless romantic, so some of my work probably sounds a little OOC because I'm trying to make it work. If you like my work, want me to read yours, need a beta, are offering your services as one, have an idea you want to see written (I do sometimes do requests, see Babylon), or want a fellow fan/shipper to bounce ideas off of, drop me a message. I love hearing from people. I also really enjoy reviews, on a purely egotistical level, so if you read my stuff could you please let me know what you thought? Hope you all enjoy my work. Thanks for bothering to get to the end of this very long bio/shameless plug. Cheers, PS: I was interviewed a while back by a very nice fellow user about beta reading, and she wrote two short but interesting articles based on them. At the risk of plugging my own knowledge, they're very well written. |
