Author has written 2 stories for Harry Potter.
A guy who has been reading fanfiction for a while. That's pretty much it.
Read below for my quick critique of crossovers.
Crossovers tend to be boring because they never do anything interesting. They involve the two original works meeting each other, without modifications. This can work, but after the 100th copy and paste "wow these characters have funny interactions xd" fic it becomes extraordinarily boring. Instead, authors should modify and play with the two worlds, and create an interesting story with them. What would you rather read, a story where Percy Jackson goes to Hogwarts to "protect" Harry from regular canon events, or a story where Percy Jackson the contract killer travels to Hogwarts with a contract on Draco Malfoy, the leader of an underground Yu-Gi-Oh card trading ring?
