Author has written 5 stories for StarTrek: Other, Metroid, Aliens/Predator, and StarTrek: The Next Generation.
My name's Nate. I have a bachelor's degree in journalism (majoring in Professional Writing, a fiction-oriented program) from the University of Oklahoma. I am currently making a second attempt at writing a novel. The first one needs a lot of rewrites that I've just not been able to bring myself to do and I'm more enthusiastic about the one I'm working on at the moment anyway.
These stories were all written when I was younger, the last post was made when I was sixteen. Many of the errors and problems in my writings you see are not much of a problem for me anymore. Also, there were some limitations brought on by the text formats I was able to post on the website at the time.
The Star Trek: The Next Generation fanfiction, "In Search of Ashes" was abandoned, mainly due to a horrible writer's block and the events being canceled out by the Trek Book expanded canon. I wanted it to fit in with the books as well as the TV shows and movies, but upon the release of Star Trek: Titan #1: Taking Wing, it became defunct.
To address some of the issues brought up in "Alien vs. Predator vs. Metroid", the transitions between Samus' current story and the dream sequences were supposed to be separated by a set of asterisks, but they were not translated into what the website posted. Also, keep in mind on the pacing issues that I was fifteen when I wrote the bulk of this story.
I still enjoy seeing reviews despite the fact that I haven't posted anything on here in over five years. So feel free to leave me your comments. I was thirteen when the first of these stories (Premonitions) was posted and I was about sixteen and a half when I stopped working on the last one (TNG: In Search of Ashes). It's kind of nice to look back and see how I've progressed. I'm working on some original fiction (hopefully the first in a series), but I might set my sights on breaking into the Star Trek novels some time, once I get published.
